A-Plus Handyman showed up and showed out! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I purchased a queen sized platform bed, desk/chair combo and a couch with ottoman and it all arrived in boxes. I contacted A-Plus yesterday and they were here today. A-Plus arrived at the agreed upon time and was done quicker than I could ever believe.

He made sure I was satisfied with the placement of the furniture after he finished assembling it and he cleaned up the boxes, plastic, etc. I highly recommend the services of A-Plus. Thank you for such excellent professionalism.

He offers top quality service, is always on time, easy to contact, and completes jobs quickly and efficiently. Everything I was there to help and observe him work on has come out really nice

I hired Anthony from A-Plus Handyman Remodeling & Renovations, LLC to finish a bathroom that was already 75% complete. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
Anthony tried to convince me to do a full gut job instead of simply finishing the work. Although he presented himself as the contractor, he brought in two workers to do the actual job while he ran to Home Depot/Lowes all day. The only work I saw him complete was painting a few doors and the bathroom stall—some of which had to be redone.
He gave me incorrect information about the bathtub fixtures, insisting the entire tile wall needed to be torn out. His own workers (who spoke perfect English) explained that only six tiles needed to be removed. After I spent two weeks finding matching tiles and offered $300 for the extra tile work, he tried to upsell me to $750 and later refused to complete the job.
Multiple details were done incorrectly, including wrong paint colors and unpainted areas. Items I purchased went missing, including a 50 lb. bag of grout and brand-new shower fixtures. When questioned, he claimed I told him to throw them out, which I absolutely did not.
My biggest mistake was paying him in full before the final tasks were done. I am sure he probably paid his workers very little from that payment and he never returned to finish the contracted work, despite stating that he would find someone to do the tilework on the bathtub at the price I was willing to pay.
In my opinion, Anthony operates as an unreliable middleman who upcharges and then hires others to do the job. I would not hire him again and cannot recommend A-Plus Handyman Remodeling & Renovations, LLC based on my experience.

He gave me incorrect info about the bathtub fixtures, tried to upsell simple tile work from $300 to $750, and still never came back to finish the job. Paint was wrong, parts of the bathroom were left unfinished, and several materials I purchased went missing, including unused shower fixtures and a 50 lb. bag of grout.
Worst of all, due to my stupidity and trusting a so-called church going man, I paid him in full, so that he could pay his workers., trusting that he would return to change out the contracted bathtub fixtures and complete the 6 pieces of tile that would need to be replaced after. Based on my experience, Anthony acts as an overpriced middleman, misrepresents what needs to be done, leaves work incomplete, mishandles materials, and does not honor agreements. I would never hire him again. A-Plus Handyman Remodeling/Anthony has certainly changed his work ethic from all the glowing reviews that were posted about him in the past or maybe he picks and chooses who he thinks he can take advantage of. He picked the wrong/right one though, my brother who gave me the money for this unfinished job and flips houses, recently won a lawsuit against a contractor, and is now reviewing all receipts, pictures, and the contract with his attorney.
