Constraction reviews in Gaithersburg, Maryland

GK Construction did a thorough job installing a new HVAC system at our house. As part of the installation, they also raised the AC Compressor over a 4" concrete platform. On the installation day, they stayed back until late evening. I highly recommend them.

We had a great experience working with this company! Highly recommend George. He was always professional and prompt. You can tell he truly cares about his work. If you need reliable and honest work you’ve come to the right place!

My husband and I have been very impressed with all of the varied work GK Construction has completed in our home. We have had interior wall painting, repair work, and a new pantry designed, installed and painted. The owner is efficient and oversees all jobs to ensure customer satisfaction. He is our first contact for small and large jobs. Mary Jo Barnes

Mr. George is always detailed and explaining any project, verifies and inspects work of his workers. I have used GK Construction repeatedly from initially enlarging my shed, deck upgrade on my house as well as my mother’s house/deck. He’s always available for questions and making sure all is clearly understood!

I would’ve added pictures but unfortunately the pictures I had were in my old phone but if ever you as a potential customer is in need of a reference on this company and pictures of the work I had done I will gladly retake as requested!

I have the highest recommendation for George. He is a problem solver and helped us think through what we needed (vs don’t need). Just as Covid started, we had a difficult tenant (and damage and trash) to moved out of a nice home we had lived in before and rented, and we had just moved out to state as well while this was all happening. George handled everything like he was an extension of our family.

We decided to sell the property, and George helped us with so many repairs to get the home sellable again from roofing patches, paining whole home, AC, and DW leakage with structural flooring repairs that resulted.

He is very clear and fair on inclusive pricing. You hand the keys and you feel you are in good hands to take care of any home related repair. George is a very good, calm and pleasant person as well, and I wish we find someone like him where we moved now.

My Experience with George of GK Construction was nothing less than impeccable work , He is knowledgeable, and well experienced and dependable.
He goes out of his way to assist the client . I would highly recommend him !

Mr. George and his team are very professional. The work that they did at my house was neat and the results were outstanding. I will definitively give Mr. George a call again and reccomend him and his team for any renovations that you may have.

I had a fantastic experience working with GK Construction LLC. George and crew were highly responsive, and their work was done with utmost professionalism. They consistently followed up on the project to ensure my satisfaction, and it was clear they cared about the outcome.

They were easy to work with and provided solutions to any questions or concerns. I'm thrilled with the results and will undoubtedly use them for future projects. I wholeheartedly recommend GK Construction LLC to anyone seeking top-notch construction services with a focus on customer satisfaction!

George has been a great asset, taking care of all our home needs for the past few decades. One can imagine all the maintenance work that needs to take place in a home. Inside out, there is not a single area which he couldn’t handle from maintaining our A/C units to Electrical, Plumbing, Flooring, Deck, Painting, etc etc. He is very reliable and completes any house work on time. When our deck was being built, new county regulations came in, but he handled everything including visiting the Permitting Services Department in person to clarify and resolve issues. The work couldn’t have been completed without George’s knowledge & help!!

We had worked with George couple of years back on a deck project. It turned to be amazing experience. George was very transparent and honest upfront in everything. Though due to unforseen circumstances our project got delayed in between for couple of weeks( no fault of George). He was patient and helped us in securing the material. Also once the work was done, George helped us in returning the left over material to Lowe’s and that saved some money on the project. He was very clear in instructions and above all we liked his professionalism and upfront honesty.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with George for the past 10 years. He not only did work in my own home including bathroom renovations, he also worked for my real estate clients who used him to make their dream home come true! I’ve also recommended him to other agents and personal friends who can’t say enough great things about George, and his sub-contractors.

GK Construction spear headed by George, has worked on my house. They are a very good company with expertise in several areas. Based on my designs, they made renovations to my bedroom and hallways, the team members were experienced, well mannered and did the work promptly and within budget. George was exceptional in supervising the project and directing his staff to do the right thing, and he also explained where a better option may be available. His Team also helped fix my HVAC unit and some plumbing issues. I was very satisfied with his and his team's work. I am happy to recommend him.

I wanted to take a moment to express my utmost satisfaction and gratitude for the outstanding service George & team has consistently provided. As someone who relies on handyman services for various home projects, I can confidently say that GK construction is a cut above the rest.

I have been thoroughly impressed with the level of professionalism, expertise, dedication to quality work and reliability George & team bring to each and every job.
GK construction has always been punctual and reliable. Whether it's a minor repair or a more complex project, I've always been impressed with the quality of the workmanship. I've noticed that GK construction team pays great attention to detail.

GK construction team maintains excellent communication throughout the process. From discussing project details to providing regular updates, I've always felt well-informed and involved in the project.

GK construction's pricing is fair and transparent. I appreciate that there are no surprises when it comes to costs.
In an industry where finding reliable and skilled handyman/construction services can be a challenge, GK construction has consistently exceeded my expectations. I have recommended their services to friends and family, and they, too, have had similarly positive experiences.

Five years ago this company built the fence around my new home. It was done on time and an excellent job was done. George, the owner also helped me do my fireplace finishing with stone background and it looks very good. They also did the back splash for my kitchen. They are committed and do good work. George personally comes and inspects the work before, during and after the work. I would recommend them without reservation.

George has assisted with projects since 2020. He is quick to respond to phone calls and text messages. Estimates for work are realistic and complete. Contracted workers are punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. George checks quality of the work frequently. I have had several construction projects completed and all three floors of the house painted, including the garage. George personally researched repairs that were possible instead of purchasing new items that were not necessary. With confidence, I make referrals to others. Outstanding in every way!

I would highly recommend GK Construction to my friends and family. Gorge was able to take my vision of my dream bathroom and turn it into a reality. I wish I had a before picture of how small and dated my master bathroom looked. I appreciated the open line of communication, George’s managing style when leading his team to complete the project, and the overall attention to detail and design of the finished master bathroom.

I was pregnant while it was under construction and George’s team went above and beyond to ensure my safety and comfort. I enjoyed using my luxurious bathroom through my pregnancy and can’t thank Them enough. Will definitely continue using this company on go forward basis!
