Constraction reviews in Gambrills, Maryland

I was impressed with the service Goldstone provided. They came out and evaluated my roof for windstorm damage and found enough to encourage me to call my insurance company to help pay for the damage. Jack was great and worked with my insurance company to get the roof replaced and paid for through my insurance. Jack kept the communication line open. Worked through a few rainy days. Did the work all in a day - with some extra time on the trim. The quality of the work was exceptional, the people great, and even had them do some additional work on my trim while they were there. The experience was excellent. Goldstone is professional and did the work they promised. Would use them again.

Goldstone Contracting was the friendliest, most competent, organized and timely home maintenance company I have used in Maryland! I would highly recommend them. Thank you very much Jake for handling our job from start to finish.

What a refreshing experience to work with a company that will see a project thru every minute detail. Recently I worked with Goldstone Contracting to replace my roof. From the start, Nick was personable, knowledgeable, and listened to both my needs and wants. He offered suggestions without being pushy and he was there from start to finish. The work was completed in a timely manner. I was extremely pleased and would highly recommend this company and especially Nick.

Had a great experience with Jack and his team in replacing our roof. Helped walk us through each step of the insurance claim process and provided excellent recommendations for shingles. They worked very well with our claims adjuster and even finished the project under estimate. We were very impressed with their responsiveness and professionalism throughout the entire process and will definitely be using them for future projects. Highly recommended and trustworthy contractor!

I had a great experience working with Goldstone Contracting Inc. Jake was especially helpful—he guided me through the entire process with the insurance company, making everything much less stressful. His communication was clear, and he was always available to answer my questions. Highly recommend!

We had an Incredible experience with Goldstone Contracting!
The entire process went very smoothly. Moses Yonas was very professional and worked with Geico to make the process even smoother. The new architectural shingles with ridge vents look amazing and already handled the first snow and rain without any issues.  I highly recommend Moses and his team to anyone looking for quality roofing work and a smooth experience!

We had an excellent experience with Goldstone Contracting! From start to finish, the entire process was stress-free. Jake, the owner and sales representative, was professional, respectful, and kept up clear communication every step of the way. They worked seamlessly with State Farm, which made everything even easier. Jake guided us through every decision — from picking the color of the shingles to upgrading the gutters to better fit the size of our house. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and made sure to clean up completely after the job. I highly recommend Jake and his team to anyone looking for quality roofing work and a smooth experience!

They are amazing! I have very high standards in terms of details, but they exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend them, and planning to book them again for another job.

ive used Allan Construction three times now and each time they have given us a reasonable and accurate estimate, started the work on time, did an excellent job, finished earlier than they said. we couldn't be happier.
1st job: removed old glued down hardwood (damaged by water), scrapped off all the glue left on the concrete slab and put down new flooring and baseboard.
2nd job: removed old. kitchen backsplash tile, replace the backboard, and painted.
3rd job: removed old bannister and railing with updated iron and wood railing.
excellence with every job.

Working with Jairo’s company has been a great experience. He is very professional and the work done on our house was impeccable. We highly recommend his company and we will go to him for any future projects.

Hired this company after another contractor's HVAC contact otld us that we wanted done could not be done. From beginning to end, we have been completely satisfied. Everyone that works for this company are professional, pleasant, meticulous and make the process of a home remodel as enjoyable as it can be. We began with a kitchen remodel and kept adding to our original contract. We are thrilled with the results of all the craftsmanship they provided as well as customer service by Jairo & Rebeca. Thoroughly satisfied :) Cannot recommend enough!

Allan Construction has completed several renovation projects in our home, and I am very happy with the work! Very honest company, work is completed on time, and they always leave my house in good shape during the project. Highly recommend!

I was referred to Dexter, the owner, through our electrician. Dexter came and did an estimate for a number of jobs on our house. He was knowledgeable, and very efficient. His time estimate was very accurate and the price was reasonable. I will likely use Allan Construction again.

I can not say enough positive things about Allan Construction! From the planning, the execution, reliability, professionalism and quality….everything exceeded my expectations. They listened to my vision, but added value and input along the way. The crew showed up when expected, kept the space as clean as possible and respected our personal space. Our project came out absolutely beautiful. I will be using Allan Construction from here on out on all of my renovations and very much look forward to working with Jairo, Paco and Rebeca again. Thank you for everything!!

I very highly recommend Allan Construction for your next project, whatever it may be!

The Allan Construction crew did a wonderful job replacing my bathroom floor. Shortly after I bought my home which was renovated by a home flipping company, I discovered that the bathroom floor tile had been done incorrectly. The grout broke off and the tiles started cracking. From the initial consultation to the final day of work, Jairon, Alex, Rebeca, and the rest of the crew were professional and careful about their work. Having dealt with many repair issues as a result of the flippers, it is so nice to work with a company that is transparent and does quality work.

The Allam construction comany was a pleasure to work with. Then entire staff are pleasant reliable proffessional and highly skilled. They replaces a very large bay window and several others in three days. the entire time the staff was in my home they were diligent and respective. Also the contracts and prices are very good.

We first worked with Jairo and his crew in 2020 for a pretty extensive bathroom and basement remodel. We were so impressed with their work, their respect for our home, and the consistent communication, they have been our go-to source for our home improvement projects ever since. We are so glad we have Jairo and his team help us out with our projects, and we highly recommend contacting them for your home needs.

Jairo has worked on 3 different properties for me over the years and multiple friends have used them for smaller jobs. For the first one he was a helper on the crew. He since branched out on his own with Allan. He has redone 3 kitchens 4 bathrooms and fully finished a 1500 sqft basement apartment at my personal homes (we moved 3 times in 7 years). Their prices are fair and the quality of work is high. He or Rebecca are always responsive, and they meet their timelines. They have done some less than typical modifications for me, for instance a steam shower and wiring an outdoor hot tub in an upstairs primary bathroom. In many instances people opt to use a designer incurring a lot of extra cost. Jairo has done enough work over the years to have a good eye for how to modify and better use existing spaces and design choices without the added expense of involving an architect or design firm.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Jairo, Rebeca, and their team for a complete home renovation, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results! From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and truly stress-free. Jairo took the time to listen to our ideas, understand our vision, and offer expert guidance on every aspect of the renovation.

Throughout the project, they demonstrated incredible attention to detail and craftsmanship, ensuring that no corner was overlooked. We purchased an old home, and many issues were uncovered during the renovation. This resulted in a lot of extra work than what was originally anticipated, but Jairo and his team took it in stride and made sure all of these issues were addressed so we could have a safe and beautiful home. Communication was always clear and consistent— we always knew what to expect, and any questions or concerns were addressed immediately.

The finished product exceeded our expectations in every way. Jairo & his team, as well as all the subcontractors he recommended, performed quality work - from plumbing and electrical, to tiling, refinishing floors, new HVAC, new framing and a new roof, installing new windows and doors, and everything in between, they truly do it all. Their pricing is transparent and very fair, and the quality of the work is outstanding. It truly feels like a brand-new home, but with the warmth and personality we've always wanted.

What really stood out to us, though, was Jairo's commitment to delivering the best possible result. His is proactive, solution-oriented, and always went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. His professionalism and dedication to the job were truly exceptional.

If you're looking for a reliable, skilled, and honest contractor who will make your renovation dreams a reality, we wholeheartedly recommend Allan Construction. You will not meet nicer people than Jairo, Rebeca, and their whole team. We are absolutely delighted with our newly renovated home and can't thank them enough for all their hard work!

*Attached are some before and after photos to show the amazing work they did in our home.

We are very pleased with the work Allen Construction, LLC completed for us. We obtained several competitive bids but Allan Construction had the best price because they are very precise and detailed on their proposal. The project started on-time and finished as promised. No surprises.

Our project involved a complete kitchen remodel with all new cabinets, stone countertops, removing/modifying two existing walls, and all new hardwood flooring that included our kitchen, main hallway, and family room. It also included refinishing the existing hardwood floor in our dining room and parlor which Allan Construction’s flooring contractor color matched perfectly. We now have an open plan layout on the 1st floor which is stunning and the new and old flooring melded perfectly!

We found Allen Construction very easy to work with and creative in offering suggestions and alternatives to complete the project efficiently and within the cost, quality, and timeline specified in our contract. All of Allan’s contractors and staff are gracious, respectful, and ensured that we were happy with every aspect of our project. That included always arriving when expected, providing an update with photos after each day’s work, and cleaning their work areas prior to leaving each day. Our second floor was sealed off with zipper doorways and plastic so that dust, odor and noise was kept to a bare minimum.

The owner, Jairo, went over and above ensuring that he was on top of any changes, or concerns that we had along the way. He was always accessible and returned calls quickly. He was even successful in replacing two cabinets within one day that were the wrong sizes by the cabinet maker.

We highly recommend Allen Construction for any size of project.
