Art does great work. Fast and effective. Reasonable priced. Used for two jobs now and will keep coming back.

He quoted us a maximum of $1000 dollars.
Then gave us a bill for $2400.
Don’t trust him, that was my first mistake.

Author is the best. He is very professional, fair, and down-to-earth. I've had a guest toliet that has bedeviled me for 8 years, then finally it wouldn't flush. He zeroed in and found the problem quickly, which was a piece of lead the builders had dropped into the toliet piping underneath. He found it, replaced it, and now everything works like it should.

My initial call was returned within 20 minutes. I sent pictures of the job and filled out the service request. He showed up earlier than promised, completed the job AND gave me suggestions to proactively address future issues.

His number is now on speed-dial.

Arthur came out after a panicked 8pm phone call when our ceiling was leaking and was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in resolving our issue and giving us next steps would recommend him to anyone.

Had him convert our one sink bathroom into a dual sink and vanity install. Was very impressed with how it turned out. Called him back when I had a leak under my kitchen sink and he was able to come check it out, and was able replace the cracked pipe and fix it right then and there.

North River Plumbing & Gas installed a new sump pump with battery back up and repaired/rebuilt 3 of our toilets. Responded to my request for a quote within an hour. Work was professional, high quality, and priced reasonably. Would recommend for all of your plumbing and gas fitting needs.

In early February I called RotoRooter and was put on hold for 4 minutes (an ETERNITY WHEN YOUR BASEMENT IS FILLING WITH WATER). I hung up and called back and scheduled service. They told me it would be about 2 hrs for a technician, meanwhile, I had a broken pipe spewing water everywhere! I told the woman we'd be swimming in two hours. The operator was nonchalant at best. I refused service, hung up and called North River Plumbing. He IMMEDIATELY instructed me on how to turn off the water and stop the damage. He knew and understood my most pressing need. He walked me on how to identify the main water valve in my house and how to turn it off. My stress level dropped immediately.

I highly recommend this company! He's great.

Great plumber!!! First time I used his services for a leak in my basement, he came to my house less than an hour after I placed the call and fixed it quick. The second time I needed help with my bathroom plumbing. He came and fixed everything properly and was very informative. Definitely recommend!!!

I searched online for someone to just turn off the gas/oven. And it was around 10 PM at night. I was freaking out because I had to have my floor replaced in the morning but in order to do that, I had to have the oven moved. I reached out to Arthur and he replied immediately. I was so impressed! The next day, there was a huge miscommunication between my husband and I that I had to cancel on him. He gracefully understood. Wow! Talk about being a professional and doin what he loves! He will be for sure the first person I will reach out to!!

I broke a pipe trying to "fix" my own tub. I requested an appointment and got to speak to the plumber. He was nice and reasonable. My issue was repaired two days after our conversation.

Best plumbing experience that we've had in some time in terms of cost , work done, and a friendly face. Arthur came in with a smile, assessed the situation, gave me a quote and got to work moments after he arrived. We had botched job/leaky pipe in our bathroom that was dripping down through the wall/drywall and was done in pvc rather than copper(what was supposed to be there). The space to work was very close quarters but Art got right in did what he needed to do, showed me what the issue was and why it was happening, replaced the damaged pipe part. Art is an amazingly friendly and honest person, hope we can get him again if we have any further plumbing issues. Thanks a bunch!!
