Chimney Sweep reviews in Glen Burnie, Maryland

I recently had Chimney Tek come to sweep the chimney. The tech called a half hour before arriving to tell me when he was going to be there. When the tech arrived, he covered the floor and walls to make sure no dust or debris go on them. I really enjoy getting the pics they provide so I can see the difference. A year ago I had them replace my liner in the chimney. They were the most affordable and offer lifetime warranty. Pics are from liner replacement and cap.

ChimmyTEK service was great. John the assigned technician was professional and knowledgeable. John and Brian explained the process and what they were doing. I plan on using them again in the future.

John and Ray were so professional. Very detailed and kept our house so clean and neat during the entire chimney sweep and inspection. Glad to know there are still honest companies out there.

What put me over the edge and caused me to stop what I was doing and take the time to write this review was the excellent level of CARE I received from the many, many technicians that supported our project and my nearly 2 year text thread of support with my new friend (salesman) Wayne.
Lets start there... Wayne went well above and beyond with me, stopping my the house to meet the insurance agents and chimney architects throughout the process. He is an EXTREMELY knowledgeable chimney professional and holds all of the pertinent certifications. He is also very good at patiently partnering with customers and helping them get what they need without it ever feeling like he was trying to close a sale.

Every single one of the technicians was kind, thoughtful, listened to me and respected me. A special spotlight on Raymond who really is one of the kindest people I have ever met.

Thank you to Debbie who took her time to talk to me after hours and on a Saturday at one point.
And of course, to Vince, the leader of this great team who I am certain plays a role in how everyone prioritizes customer experience and satisfaction.

Thank you to the entire team for being a phenomenal service provider. If you were at my house and I didn't mention you by name, please know that I am grateful to you.

ChimneyTEK was fantastic. They explained everything, took lots of pictures, and did a great job. Selvin and Luis installed the new liner for me and it looks really clean and well done.

3/29/2025 Today Myron and Salvin came to inspect my Napoleon. The fan had not been working properly. Last week the stove was scheduled to be cleaned and swept. During the service, I told the tech about my concerns and the following week Chimney Tek sent Myron, Salvin and an electrician, Troy? Sorry if that's not your name. Nevertheless, after some inspection, service, and a fire, the fan is blowing and I can now truly get the full benefit of my wood burning stove! Thank you Cheimney Tek! Myron, Salvin and Troy (?) are great additions to the team!! Well done fellas!!

Absolutely wonderful experience with Chimneytek. I am a new homeowner and all of the staff I spoke with were very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Fantastic communication from initial chimney inspection to repair and replacement.

Chimney Tek came to my house and performed a thorough evaluation and prepared a job quote in one day for a chimney and fireplace restoration. Their team was very knowledgable and professional and one I would highly recommend.

I had a piece of chimney pipe that I was too scared to install so I called ChimneyTek, and Wayne came out to give me an estimate the very next day. He was clearly very knowledgeable and gave me great advice for operating my stove. He worked up a quote on the spot and scheduled me for install the next morning.

Even though it was 7 degrees and icy, Franklin came first thing on Wednesday morning and had me up and running within 2 hours. He was friendly, professional, and clearly very experienced. Even when I had an annoying aesthetic comment on the install, Franklin came out again and fixed me up. I could not be happier with his work and craftsmanship - clearly a hard worker. Would highly recommend ChimneyTek.

Vince was very professional and thorough with my chimney inspection. The communication from ChimneyTEK was great as well all the way from scheduling to the day of my inspection. Glad that I chose them!

Vince came out and inspected everything and showed very detailed photos of what could be better, and what needed done ASAP (which wasn't much) he cleaned the chimney and sealed a crack in the stone and my landlord set up an appointment for him to come out and replace the things that were going to need fixed later on before they got bad. He sat and explained everything he was doing and why, and didn't try to upsell us on anything extra.

My experience with Chimneytek was impeccable. With great communication throughout the process of getting our stove installed, from quotes to an onsite estimate and visit, to a perfect install, they were a great contractor throughout the process. Mayron and Daniel did exceptional work on the install and it was a pleasure to communicate and work with them both. Debbie was also quick to respond to any needs I had, and helped walk us through steps to get financing on our project. Highly recommend, and look forward to coming back for years to come! Thanks!

Very knowledgeable and great to work with. We hired ChimneyTek last year to inspect our new construction of our chimney and cleaning and inspection of our existing - in both cases they did an excellent job.

I had a great experience with ChimneyTek from start to finish - thank you Wayne, Jon, and Darby! First, they came out for an inspection and figured out what was wrong, then sent me several recommendations for a solution along with pricing. Once I selected an insert, they came out when they said they would and installed the system. Sadly, the door was chipped. No problem! They took care of me right away - ordered the new door and scheduled the team to replace the old one. They were never late, were very communicative (thanks, Debbie!), and were courteous and professional. They even went above and beyond by sharing tips and a video to help this newbie season the insert. Great job, guys...thank you so much!

Chimney Tek is very professional and thorough. They provide multiple suggestions for the proposed project. This included pictures and follow up. I gave them 4 stars because I put my project on hold and therefore I can’t comment on how the finished project would be.
