We were extremely pleased with Ram Jacks work. All the workers, Noah and Miquel and his crew, as well as Dillon and his crew (assisted one day) are very skilled and professional in performing their work. Ram Jack workers took the time to protect all finishes and cover our stacked up furniture and stuff we had to move out of the way, while cleaning up at the end of each day. We will definitely recommend Ram Jack to our neighbors and friends as needed. Again, we can’t thank you all enough for giving us peace of mind not to worry about water or moisture in our basement.

Felipe and his crew kept my property and the jobsite clean and organized, and performed the work with perfect attention to detail. I had concerns about my foundation due to some new hairline cracks, splitting wood floors and other items throughout our house. My concerns were exacerbated by googling and so I reached out to Ram Jack. Richard came by to give an inspection, and I was very impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. I was expecting to hear a pushy sales pitch on how I needed a maintenance contract or to be over sold by using fear or the need to act now. It was the opposite. He reviewed the items I was concerned with and made assessments on each. He even spent time taking leveling readings to give me the peace of mind and to archive existing conditions.

We hired RamJack to shore up our chimney and bring it back to the house after being quoted a price to replace the chimney by a local Chimney and Fireplace company. They were professional, on time, and very responsive. Will use again for sure.

Big Shout out to Mr. John Rivers (owner) for his transparency. Let me give you the backdrop I had a leak in my basement that went unnoticed for months. Once discovered, I pulled back the carpet and noticed spider cracks throughout the floor with a few wet spots. I immediately contacted numerous waterproofing and foundation companies for estimation and evaluation. Three companies cited sub-pump failure and suggested new drain lines and subfloor failure. I was in disbelief as I live on the hill. They cited groundwater slippage and ground void. Estimated repair north of 15k (FYI, Insurance does not cover groundwater). I told every company that I recently replaced my HVAC System, and the unit was directly behind the wall. NOT ONE OF THOSE COMPANIES VALIDATED MY CONCERN CITING THE SITE LOCATION WAS DRY. I express this to John upon investigation; we notice no drain line hence the dry floor outside the unit. The condensation line was damaged and draining between the wall. AT THAT MOMENT, I WANTED TO KISS JOHN AS HE SAVED ME 15K. I REALIZED NOT ALL CONTRACTORS ARE THE SAME. THE COMPETITORS ALL SAID THEIR PRICES WOULD BEAT RAMJACK BY 20%, AND ONE COMPETITOR WAS EVEN A FORMER EMPLOYEE USING HIGH SALE TACTICS. MY TAKE AWAY- I WOULD TRUST JOHN WITH MY CHILDREN JOHN, I GIVE YOU 10 STARS FOR YOUR EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE, TRANSPARENCY, AND STEWARDSHIP IN YOUR CRAFT.

Ramjack installed several footers and piers in my crawlspace to raise and support a section of sagging floor. Their workers were friendly and professional and the quality of their work was outstanding.

We had an interior wall that allowed slow penetration of water from the fireplace ash cinderblock opening. Wendy assessed the issue and recommended extending the sump pump drain. However, after we decided not to go that route, Wendy came up with an alternative solution to close the fireplace cinderblock opening and this has worked to keep the area dry! I am most appreciative of her perseverance to creatively find an alternative that worked! I highly recommend this company and their representative.

Ours is one of the many households in Prince George's County struggling with the substantial rains in recent years. This summer, our sump pumps died and our basement flooded. We replaced the sump pumps and tore the basement to pieces, but the next time it rained heavily, our basement flooded again. And kept flooding. Turns out, the 60-year-old drain in the stairwell outside of our basement door was no longer able to keep up with the amount of rainfall, and water was filling up our stairwell and entering the basement under the door. At the same time, part of our side yard was collapsing in on itself with the increased rainfall, indicating that there was some big void in our yard that threatened to swallow us whole.

Enter RamJack Chesapeake. Multiple times, they came out to our property to evaluate the situation and explore solutions. Ultimately, the team suggested rerouting and extending two of the downspouts on the back of the house to reduce rainwater pooling near the stairwell, as well as installing a sump pump in the stairwell itself to eject rainwater before it was able to encroach on our basement. They also planned to excavate the sinking portion of our yard to find the problem, and then fill with gravel and finish with topsoil.

They managed to squeeze us into the schedule just before Christmas, and in the space of two weeks (with a couple of small schedule changes), and just before a series of heavy storms, they completed the project. Our basement has been bone dry ever since, and the collapsing portion of our yard (thanks to a collapsing dry well) is stable and ready to grow grass come spring.

I don't have pics of the before and don't have it in me to take pics of the after, so you'll just have to imagine something that was a waterlogged disaster for the before, and a gorgeous little sump crock, downspout extensions and a yard that no longer has a hole in it for the after.

We could not be happier with the outcome. I will not lie -- it was a costly undertaking given the scope of work, but an extremely fair price overall. If our home ever threatens again to drown us or swallow us up, we know exactly who to call. Huge thanks to Kevin, Brittany, and Dylan, Tim and the crew for finding and executing our solution, and to Bailey for getting us scheduled before 2021.

I am an engineer and an avid DIY'er, but a leaning two story chimney on a one foot deep foundation on sandy Anne Arundel County soil is not in my repertoire. I researched all the available approaches to straighten it and the choice of Ram Jack was a no-brainer. At some point, someone really creative came up with the technology (and most importantly) the associated tooling to drive these helical piles deep into the ground to stable soil. Any other way is going to be some kind of jury rig and/or a temporary solution with shifting sand on a steep slope like ours.

Ram Jack assigned a project manager, created the engineering drawings for the permit process, dealt with the permit hell of Anne Arundel county in a chesapeake bay critical area buffer zone. The work was done when they scheduled it to be done, they left the site clean, and all inspections were performed. After 6 months and the torrential rains of the past week, the chimney hasn't shifted at all.

We had another outbuilding with a cracked foundation that I had the project manager inspect, and she advised that it wasn't an immediate concern, but gave me guidance on what to look for to know when it would need further attention.

Complete waste of time. I booked my appointment a week in advance and took the day off work to be home durring the appointment. I received a call at 5:30 pm the day before the appointment from the project manager informing me that he would not be able come out and quote the job but another crew would have to come out a few days later. I spent an entire week waiting for someone to come out, only to be told at 530 the day before that not only would they not make the appointment but i would have to wait several more days for a quote. if Ram Jack is this unorganized before they get your money, I can only imagine how they treat customers after they have you on the hook. BEWARE!

Highly professional, and quickly executed work.
They even took the time to re-plant my trees that had to be moved, and they reseeded the grass.
Kevin was a blessing to work with. He accurately assessed and estimated the scope of the project onsite and gave me my options in a clear and concise manner.
Of special interest, due to the nature of my repairs, Kevin got me onto the schedule in an accelerated time table to help prevent further damages from occuring due to incliment weather.

I look forward to using RamJack again on future projects.
