Brian was heaven sent!!! I didnt do a lot of shopping around for a repair company because Free state had great reviews and I didnt see a need to look any further. I called Free state when my refrigerator, in the house that i just purchased, stopped working. Brian came out the same day I called and was able to identify the problem. Our 25yr old gas furnace and A/C system was on borrowed time. We wanted to replace it prior to it dying when 30° outside or 105° outside. I was referred to Brian by a coworker and new I found right company for the job. His estimate came in lower than other estimates and with better brand equipment. He installed a new Reehm system and we love it. Gone are the days of A/C running all day trying to cool house to 77°. I know this will save us money this winter being much a more efficient system. Our AC started making a horrible noise over the weekend we knew we had about 2 days of mild weather before the temperature shot up into the 90's. We reached out and a friend recommended Brian with Free State. We called him right away on Monday and same day he was out for an estimate and AC fixed the very next day! I had a washing machine that was leaking water. Brian was able to come the next day and take a look. He review the water situation and being very familiar with the make and model of my washing machine advised me to get a new machine. To repair it would cost me $250-$300 and there was a good chance something else could go wrong. I truly appreciate his input and his honesty. This man is honorable and fair. Even though he could have taken the work and made money, he followed a bigger path of doing right by a customer. I highly recommend him and cannot honestly speak to the work he has done, his reputation speaks for that part; I can only speak to the integrity he showed and in my book that counts just as much.

I called Free State after finding that my furnace wasn't working. Brian came out to my house very quickly - in fact earlier than expected as his previous job ended early - in order to take care of things. He not only fixed the issue, but also made sure I understood what was going on and how to better care for the furnace and extend it's lifetime. I will definitely be using Free State for any repair work I need in the future and recommend them fully!

Originally called for a washer repair, to which he quickly responded and fixed. While here we asked for advice on hot water heater and furnace, both of which were nearing end of life. He examined both and noted that they were both extremely near end of life; water heater starting to leak, and furnace filters beyond repair. He provided an estimate for replacement of both. Based on the research we had previously done, his prices were excellent!
He and his team were on time, and worked efficiently to get everything done with minimal outage times.
They cleaned up thoroughly and left everything in beautiful condition.

Brian is super helpful and knowledgeable! He was not at all pushy and gave factual information about my refrigerator and the options as far as repair or replace. Very refreshing instead of the high pressure sales approach!

Brian responded within two days after my call for dryer repair. Because of the location of my laundry room, I expressed to Brian the difficulty in getting a new dryer installed. He made a valient attempt to fix my dryer with a new part, but unfortunately what I kinda knew beforehand (as my dryer was about 16 years old) and what he probably knew as well was I needed a new dryer. I appreciate the fact that Brian cared enough about my situation that he took the time to try and breath life back into a dead dryer. When I get my new Dryer I will definitely call Brian to install.

First and foremost, I’ve never met a more genuine, kind hearted person / technician such as Brian. He assessed my dish washer for me as it’s 10 years old and I believed it was the heating element. It wasn’t. It’s old and the board is just messed up from age. Very knowledgeable in his field and I would choose him over and over again. He also took a look at my moms HVAC.
