We have been using Rowan for over 5 years now. Their service is reliable, professional and reasonably priced. The staff is always professional and courteous. The technician always explains in terms that are easy to understand, what needs to be done and why. They come on time and never have a problem working with my schedule when making an appointment.

Wow! If it's the first cold day of the year and you go to turn your heat on and it doesn't work, what's the first thing you want? You want heat and you want to call these guys...They came out promptly, fixed my problem, helped me to escape major repairs and did so in a very friendly manner. Don't get that too often. Big time kudos to Nicholas for this great and affordable service!

Called for an estimate for one of my properties, lady was not helpful. She said they charge for the estimate unless a regular customer and plainly said "surely correct me if I'm wrong but you are probably calling several companies and we will not be the cheapest, we are very busy right now filled til December." I will find another heating Co.in that area, I need heat now, not December.

Had one of their drivers fly threw a stop sign and nearly hit me, just for him/her to drive off, well above the speed limit. If their work ethic is anything like their driving abilities, I wouldn’t trust them within a mile of my property. Very sad to see such a blatant disregard of others safety.

Had the HVAC unit in the attic thoroughly cleaned even though it was hot out and in a really tight space. Nick performed a blower door test throughout the whole house which shows where outside air leaks in through places like light fixtures and windows. He explained how this contributes to increased energy consumption and higher energy bills. Very thorough to say the least.

I have been recommending ROWAN HVAC for over 15 Years now - they installed a Central Air System for me in an investment property in 2000 and they have completed numerous jobs for agents and clients to whom I have referred them to. Every person that has used them has been thorough pleased with the service AND the price that was quoted. The staff are extremely helpful and friend, the technicians are super knowledgable on the products (from High Efficiency Heat Pumps, to Boilers to all kinds of special Heating Systems) I am finally writing this commendation b/c I had another very special client who was assisted by them last week - and they too were thrilled with the service. My client offered to buy Russ (the technician) a case of beer for the Job Well Done - and instead of the case of beer, I am writing this recommendation. We have had Rowan out several times, to 2 different addresses. They are always good to work with, capable, knowledgeable, and willing to answer questions and explain things. I love it when people can actually explain things.

The fan in the AC died last night, and Rowan were able to come right out. I described the problem inaccurately over the phone so Russ brought the wrong part with him on the call. Friday afternoon, I braced myself for being rescheduled for the following week and temperatures in the 90s. Instead, Russ hopped in his truck, drove back to base, got the correct part and I'm up and running again. Tried to give him a tip for going the extra mile, and he wouldn't take it. Outstanding.

I had an appointment scheduled for today 10/06. When I called them (2 weeks in advance) the operator told me that they would call 30 minutes before arrival. By noon, no one had called. We called to inquire and we told that we did not have an appointment because we had not called. After they did some research, they found out that I had actually called and that the operator had failed to schedule it. I let them know that we had been without heat since my original call. The operator today did not apologize but only wanted to make excuses why the original operator didn't schedule it. I stated "that does not help my problem of being without heat". She very rudely told me that "maybe I should find someone else to do it" and hung up the phone. I called back and talked to Teresa (supposedly an owner). She was just as rude and told me to find someone else to do the work. After this experience, I WOULD NOT recommend them for anything. They certainly do not want my business. I called another company and they were able to come out asap. We have used this company for several years and have never experienced such rudeness from them. I'd recommend calling someone else because they obviously do not care about their customers or their business.
