Top notch job. Matt and his crew installed a75 ft long hedge line of azaleas including digging the bed, planting, feeding, mulching, and watering. Looks incredible. They were clearly knowledgeable and motivated to get the job done, even on a hot southern maryland sunday. Highly recommend Lawn Artists.

Professional from the very beginning to the end! Had major flooding in my yard and Matt, Kevin and crew took care of installing swales/French drains, removing and replacing walk ways and patios, reseeding, raising floor levels, etc., etc., etc. Huge job and thrilled to have found such wonderful and knowledgeable people make a nightmare situation bearable! They even documented the damage and fix for a potential lawsuit. Love these guys!

Ordered a spring cleanup landscaping service - included weeding, edging, mulching the planting beds around my foundation, and perennial trimming. Was told three weeks later that the services provided by this company are responsible for a termite infestation, and I now have thousands of dollars in extermination costs. Termites were swarming all around my property, and a professional exterminator claims that the landscape service is the definite source. I cannot possibly recommend Lawn Artists any less. In addition, the reader should be aware that this company will threaten legal action over a bad review, which in my opinion really speaks for itself.

We love the new retaining wall around our pool. Matt and Kevin are excellent to work with. They had the vision to create a beautifully landscaped area that ties our outdoor living space together and gave us a larger patio space.

Terrible quality of service. On Dec 5 2016 I had this company come to my home for leaf removal. I was quoted 225.00 to clean leaves up from all areas and taper them into the wooded area at the back of my property. I wasn't home the day of service and to my surprise when I returned home I have huge piles of leaves on the back of my property not in the woods. Additionally my basement walk out is now full of leaves which wasn't the case prior to Lawn Artists coming to my home. I've included correspondence between myself and this company below. The correspondence took place on Angie's list. I was half tempted to stop payment on the check I left. Beyond pissed. See message traffic below and stay far away from this company if you want the job done right. Oh, and they can come back to do the job right for an additional cost! That's a crock!
Hi Chris,

If we can take the leaves into the back woods so long as we taper them back and they are not piled, etc., that would make things easier and more cost effective. We have some pretty high powered blowers and large tarps and shouldn't have any issues with blowing them into wooded areas.

I should be able to get the work completed for $225. We can shoot for this Saturday in the afternoon since it looks like were going to be getting some more rain early next week.

Let me know if this works and we will plan for it.

I wanted to give you an update that we came out this afternoon and got all the leaves blown. I hadn't realized it was going to be so many leaves, so we did the best we could get them out of the yard and flowerbed areas but were unable to taper them into the woods as I would've liked.

The leaves will slowly decompose and the piles will go down. The next time I'm in the area I could come back to blow them further into the woods but it would be for an additional amount.

Overall, I think you'll be very happy with the results. Please let me know if there's anything that you need going forward.

Lawn Artists transformed my lawn with a 4 1/2 month project that addressed dire drainage issues on the property. They are professional, personable, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. At the end of the project they had replaced three retaining walls with ones that work and are beautiful as well. Also they built a paver walkway around the house to again, focus on the erosion issues. Pavers were used on our driveway and beautiful patio. The project has been completed but they continue to check the property and tweak if needed. I can not recommend them enough.

This summer's rainy weather took it's toll on my front lawn and caused our landscaping to grow like crazy. I contacted Lawn Artists and they were VERY responsive, which, as you know, is a rarity in the Calvert County service industry. The Lawn Artists team came out (when they said they would and on time!) and worked their magic. My landscaping has never looked better! I highly recommend Lawn Artists!

I had some erosion and drainage issues at the home we recently moved into. I contacted 3 companies initially and Lawn Artists was the only one to respond. One of the non-responders had actually put a flyer in my mailbox a few weeks prior but I received no response to an email nor a phone message! Matt came over to assess my concerns and together we discussed possibilities. Matt promised to and did send a computer generated plan/diagram, done by Kevin, and photos of the materials he had in mind to use. He came back in a couple of days and we finalized the course of action. His crew of three, Macario, , Marvin, and Daniel worked tirelessly and with great attention to detail. The foreman, Macario is a true craftsman and meticulous in his work. Curb stone was used as a border to pavers and river rock. I asked Macario why he was cutting thin slivers/wedges off the stone and he explained that it was so they would abut snuggly as he made a curved path. Most others, I think, would not be so exacting. He is very proud of his workmanship. Any questions or concerns that I had were addressed and acted upon efficiently and professionally. They even did some extra jobs for me at no additional cost. Matt said that Lawn Artists tries to go above and beyond and, from what my experience has been, that is no exaggeration. I highly recommend Lawn Artists. Thanks to all of the team members involved.

Lawn Artists completed a new patio and deck for us after a tree took our old ones out, they were on budget, timely and did beautiful and detailed work, would highly recommend them to anyone, Matt and his team were wonderful!

I have used Lawn Artist to cut, trim, mulch and generally do spring cleaning services. This is the second year in a row. I could not be happier with the result. Matt does a great job of organizing and scheduling. The crew works extremely hard and they take great pride in their work. Highly recommend.

By far the best! I submitted a request online via the company website to inquire about a project we were looking to do. Matt quickly got back to me the same day, discussed what we wanted, and asked when he could stop by to look at the area we wanted work on. Matt was so responsive throughout the entire process. The crew was quick and efficient. Our project was completed in 24 since Matt was so accommodating in getting us between projects. Just a wonderful company to work. Highly recommend!!
