I recently had a huge tree fall on my home in Cheverly, MD. They came out with the city to take care of this matter around 7am. They were professional and explained everything to me. I highly recommend and they do an amazing clean up job. I am looking forward to using them in the near future.

Dennis from Excel Tree Experts was extremely helpful for me and offered incredible customer service. I had about 5 branches in my backyard that I've been meaning to haul off and when I saw their truck taking care of another job across the street this morning I asked if they would chip them for me. Dennis took care of them for me free of charge and even carried them over himself. Excel is now at the top of the list for companies I will call when/if I have a bigger job.

We had a portion of a tree come down during a storm. My husband called at 4 and spoke to Annette. A crew was onsite within 45 minutes to remove the tree. Just the week before a portion of the same tree came down, we removed it ourselves in about 2 1/2 hours. The crew today had this bigger section taken care of in 15 minutes. They cleaned up all of the leftover debris as well. We have used Excel for years to prune this tree, sadly it will need to be completely removed. I cannot recommend Excel enough!

I called them and they came within 2 hours to begin removing the tree . 2 days later it’s gone cleaned up really well too. The price was even better than 3 other companies by THOUSANDS. The crew did a great job removing the dead and dying trees from Baltimore county property. I am no longer in danger of limbs or branches falling onto my home. I highly recommend Excel Tree Experts for all your arborist needs.

They sent a clueless crew and they did a terrible job. You can see in the photos how they pruned excessively a magnificent Sakura (cherry tree) on our street (you can see in the first photo how the tree looked like earlier this spring). They did this ahead of the summer months, when this beloved tree provided neighbours with shade. They argue that they had instructions to do this, but it's not true, as the city of DC wants to preserve its emblematic cherry trees. For example, they were not supposed to cut more than 20% of the branches, and it's obvious from the photos that they did cut more than that.

Entirely fair price. Excellent communication. Strong skills. Very courteous at all stages. Cleaned up completely. Did a great job getting at a tree in a tricky location. Recommend.

Forest Valley Tree service just took one of my very large trees down. The Tree had to be 125-150 ft tall. They were very courteous, professional, and obviously knew their business. They left my house looking like very clean after their service and it was done very efficiently. The manager also stopped by to make sure that everything was done to their standard. Very impressed with their work!

We had a 3-man crew out in our backyard for the entire day, cutting down and clearing out a number of large dead and dying trees. Since we were paying their full day rate, they actually accomplished more than our contract had listed. Once they completed the contract obligations, they keep going (removing more fallen logs, brush and such) until the day was done. They used mats to move their heavy machinery safely across our lawn. And they did a great job cleaning up. Price was competitive, and Josh who came out both to give us the quote and to kick the job off with the crew projected integrity and forthrightness that I very much appreciated. Highly recommend Forest Valley Tree & Turf.
