If you are looking for HONEST, EFFICIENT, PROFESSIONAL, REASONABLE and QUALITY electrical work, then look no further than SHAWN'S ELECTRIC!
We recently upgraded our heating and air conditioning unit and it was brought to our attention that our ELECTRICAL BOX/BREAKER PANEL needed to upgraded as we had some electrical outlets and lights that were not working. WE NEEDED AN ELECTRICIAN and WE NEEDED ONE FAST!
After calling in excess of half a dozen electricians in Harford County, we stumbled across SHAWN'S ELECTRIC and THANK GOD WE DID! They came out the same day that we called and ordered everything needed. Within a few days, they arrived and WORKED NON-STOP, COMPLETING ALL WORK THE SAME DAY.
Thank you so much SHAWN & LUKE...YOUR EXPERTISE, EFFICIENCY TO DETAIL AND YOUR CARING SUPPORT ARE SO GREATLY APPRECIATED. We will never use another company for any of our electrical work and MORE THAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND SHAWN'S ELECTRIC to everyone! -

Very disappointed.... To avoid the long details I will just get straight to the point. Shawn’s electric charged me $244 to change this light switch pictured on the left to the light switch pictured on the right. The tech didn’t have to drill or cut any holes, didn’t have to run any wires nor did he have to replace any of the existing wires.... He just killed the power to the switch via the panel, removed the cover plate, disconnected the wire from the old toggle switch, connected those same wires to the new switch and then restored power back to the switch..... this task took less than 10 mins... $244!! When I asked the owner and the tech why they charged me for a new install, he said that they charge by the task... The crazy thing is that in an earlier quote the task of replacing a 3-way switch was only $t55... I seeked further clarification by having them explain replacing a 3 way switch... and it was exactly the same as the tasked performed by the tech but they continued to call it a new install. I would easily agree if he had to place a switch where none existed.. or even if he had to install a switch where an old switch was but the wires weren’t working and he had to run a new line... but that’s not the case! The existing wires and switch worked fine, he simply changed them out for me and charged me $254!! By the way, that switch cost approx $60.. As a Retired Veteran I went from meeting a young man name Michael Manfredi who went out of his way to help a Vet get this house, to finding Shawn’s Electric who is ripping people off by charging $244 to replace a light switch.
I still have a few more electrical projects that I would like to get done but I assure you that I will never use Shawn’s Electric again nor recommend them to anyone I know!!!!
