The owner of the company cannot drive to save his life let alone anyone elses. I was driving with my husband and child and he cut us off 3 times between 3 traffic lights without a signal or anything. When we pulled up to get his number off the vehicle to call the company he was rude and flicked us off. We called the manager later to find out the driver was actually the owner of the company. I think he may need glasses or maybe he cut his license off the back of a cereal box. Either way, very rude individual.

Replaced my security light fixture with a new, but inferior one.....lights consistently go out way before their expected use lifetime.... I'm going to Angie's List to find a better company......Beltway use to be a good company and I have used them before....but I've noticed the quality of service has been dropping...each service call.

They never showed up, no call, no nothing! I asked Gene the owner for his insurance n bonding n he kept giving me all these excuses!
So I told him that I needed to see the proper certification before he could do the work!

Got Beltway Electrical service off Angie's List, Bob called me within minutes, came to my house the same day and two days later my ceiling fans was up and looking great, Mike and Jean did and awesome job and was very professional,

They came the very next day after I posted on Angi. Professional service in every respect. Quickly handled multiple odd jobs for a reasonable price.

GFI circuit kept failing. I called Monday. Although this was not an emergency, Beltway Electrical fit me in wednesday morning before thanksgiving! Service person was prompt, polite, and efficient. He did not try to sell or "upgrade". The job was done well, right, and at a very reasonable cost. Beltway is now my go-to electrical service!

I am selling my house and i needed to have a gfci circuit added to my bathroom. I explained thus issue that was raised during a home inspection. The guys explained the issue gave me a quick on the spot estimate, which i agreed to then they proceeded to do the work. Everything works and the guys knocked it out in a little bit over an hour. I defiantly call them again if I need some electrical work done.

My fiance and I hired Gene Gooslin with Beltway Electric to change/add GFCI outlets back in July of 2023. Not even a full 2 months later one of the new GFCI's outside in the back was red and would not reset. I called Gene multiple times and he would not answer my call until I called from a different number and someone else answered stating that he will call me back to schedule a time to come out. No one ever called me back and so I called and left voicemails and received no response. I had to hire someone completely different to come out and they stated that whomever installed that GFCI did not do it properly. Here I am again not even a full year later and another one of the GFCI's in the garage started making a loud clicking sound, smelled as if it were burning, and the light was blinking red fast. I will be going through my warranty company now to have all them checked and if any others are configured wrong I will be requesting my funds back because this is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

the father and gene was very professional, on time, and did an awesome job. i had a different situation. i had to deal with bge for over 4 years after beltway electric had done their part. my job started with his father, but gene is the person that finished the job, today march 20, 2025. he was patient when it came to dealing with bge. alot back and forth with bge and pg county permit office. i would highly recommend beltway electric and will hire them again.

Update: Beltway Electrical Service was back again! This time to bring our House up-to-date! Did not know Smoke Alarm units should be updated every 10 years! Ours were 23 years old! We have a hard wired system with battery back up! After learning that, we decided to call them and replace all the smoke alarms. So we now have peace of mind not only for us but for the next owner. New alarms, 10-year lithium batteries and an Electrical Contractor that took the time to educate us.
Thanks Gene and Micky! First, my service call was 7:30 AM to schedule a repair, they were here by 10:45 am and got the job done, which was replacing a battery in the smoke detector of a 14’ ceiling while navigating a stairway! No one was hurt in this tricky maneuver (or property damaged). After a night of hearing the alarm chirp, we were so grateful they fit us in their schedule. Highly recommend Beltway Electrical’s services.

Today's date 9/1/2025: This rating of ZERO stars is pending as of 11am. Mr. Gossling installed a recess light and a ceiling fan for $945 on 8/26/2025. I paid him the day services were completed. Mr. Gossling stated the reason for the price is because he had to use a special ladder due to the 20+ foot ceilings. Upon my arriving home and reviewing his work, the ceiling fan was blinking like a disco globe and it hummed. I sent pictures and a video. Mr. Gossling responded via text that he would contact me and set up an appointment for him to come back. On Friday 8/29/2025, Mr. Gossling called me and he stated he would come back to my house on Monday 9/1/2025 by 9am to look at the ceiling and fix the issue. Over the phone Mr. Gossling stated the issue could be a result of using LED bulbs on a light fixture that is connected to a dimming switch. Welp, it is 9/1/2025 at 11am. No call, no text, and no show. Stay tuned...
