They gave me really bad advice and it cost me an additional $400 to fix it. Instead of bush pruning for $400 like the estimate, they recommended cutting down the bush entirely and said they would do it for the same price. I agreed because at that point I was unaware of bush stumps. After they cut the bush down it left an 8 foot circle of bush stumps. They then gave me a $400 estimate to grind the bush stumps. It was a big mistake listening to them.

We recently had a tree (large silver maple) removed from our property in Towson. This was a complete take down with stump grinding. Rob was quick to contact us and communicated well throughout the process. The work was done in a professional and safe manner. It was clear in the conversations with Rob that he cares about what he's doing and he puts his customers first. He really made the process so much easier than we had anticipated.

We had part of a split trunk tree fall in our yard. We requested an estimate via website and received a call 2 minutes after the request. American Tree Service arrived on time the next day, assessed the situation and offered several solutions and pricing. We decided to use them and given the severity of the damage they had the remainder of the tree down that day. We could not have been more happy with the prompt service. They exceeded all of our expectations. We will be calling them in the near future for another tree that will need to be cut down. I highly recommend them for any of your tree needs.

The guys from American Tree were terrific this week when taking down some huge trees at our house. They worked as a team, efficiently and safely getting the trees down, mulching the branches and hauling away the larger pieces. And then they surprised me by meticulously cleaning up the yard and even seeding where the lawn was damaged. I highly recommend them and would certainly use them again.

I would highly recommend American Tree Service for your tree removal/trimming needs. I called Rob on Friday afternoon and he was out Saturday to give me an estimate. By Wednesday of the following week, they were out to complete the job. I had a 75'+ tree within a foot of my home and they dropped the tree with precision and with no risk to damaging my home. They even went the extra step to clean my yard, roof, and gutters of the debris. Best of all, their pricing was extremely fair. Thank you to Rob and everyone at American Tree.

The American Tree team performed excellently for us. They removed an enormous hollow oak with efficiency and good cheer under difficult circumstances. Stephan was responsive throughout, and the whole team inspired, and showed, great appreciation for their work. Their fee was the lowest but they did no less than a complete and highly controlled job.

Cory came out and gave us a very honest appraisal. There were a couple of suggestions he recommended that ended up saving us money. When the job was finished, they left our yard completely raked of all debris. I highly recommend American Tree Service, working with Cory was a pleasure!

The quote was in-depth and included all the necessary information regarding the work to be completed as well as the company certifications and insurance information. Very professional. There are a lot of tree service companies out there to choose from.. I chose American Tree Service bacause Cory's estimate was excellent and I like to support local businesses. In a time when most of us are accustomed to receiving substandard service, American Tree Service comes along and reminds its customers what it is like to be professional, timely and to provide quality work.

Stephan and his crew removed a large tree in my rear yard and trimmed a tree in my front yard. It was amazing to watch them as they carefully and with skill provided their service; and, at a price that was ridiculously reasonable!

At the last minute, and just minutes prior to their arrival, I left a voice message asking if they could also give me a price and arrange a date and time to come back and trim the tree in my front yard. They arrived at the appointed time and, not only did they remove the tree, they grinded the stump completely away and cleaned the rear yard. One can't tell that a tree was ever there. They even mulched the space where the tree was nicely and neatly. And in the end, the yard looked ten times better than it did when they arrived. Afterwards, they trimmed the tree at the front of the house and did yet another amazing job.

When my neighbor saw how well Stephan and his team did, he asked them to grind a stump in his yard. (I don't mind telling you that my neighbor is not easily satisfied.)

It is not often that you can find a company who takes pride in its work. I am still in awe at every detail of the quality work and professionalism I received.

They removed an 85’ dying oak that was 15’ from my house last year. Used the crane. These guys know what they’re doing. Kyle was great and easy to deal with. Only tree company I’ll be using from now on.

American Tree Service provided exceptional work. We had a giant tree trimmed and one large tree removed the price was reasonable and they left our yard cleaner then before they started. Cory was very professional, he was also knowledgeable about what was best for the tree. I would highly recommend this company to my friends and family and call Cory again when I need future work!

We used American Tree Service today to take down a 125 foot giant tree in our yard. Their price estimate was very fair and competitive, they arrived on time and all the men worked diligently and professionally to coordinate the tree removal which was a major endeavor ! This is an outstanding tree removal company in every way in fact, I can't think of a way they could improve. The price was right, the work was meticulous , all safety precautions were taken, they protected our grass with plywood and left our property in pristine condition. You would never even know they had been there. If my husband and I could give them more than 5 stars we would.......you can't go wrong hiring this amazing team !

American Tree Service is fantastic!! They removed a damaged tree from our front yard before it could do any damage to our home. Cory and his team were punctual and professional, arriving on time and keep us posted on each step. After cutting it down, they ground the stump and roots and cleaned up afterward. It was like the tree was never there! And neither were they! Great job guys!!!

These guys were GREAT!! They came at the time they setup and had the downed tree, stump and debris completely removed within 2 hours. They refilled the hole left behind and level off the ground. Great work and very professional. Best part the price was very fair and reasonable. I will recommend them to anyone in need of tree services.

I had a large pine tree that had a massive crack in a 12+ inch in diameter that needed to be removed safely. I called 4 other companies and only one of those showed up along with American Tree Service. I explained what I wanted and I got bids from both. American Tree service came in at $200 below the other bid. It took a bit but they came out today and removed the massive limb safely. They quickly dispatched all of the limbs into tiny chips. They also trimmed off everything I requested. They also cleaned up all the mess including the all the tiny branches, raked and used a blower to clean off all of the saw dust. Great job, professional and through. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Stephan and Kyle great work removing two trees and a hedgerow in Lutherville. Safe quick tidy professional and affordable. I appreciate your use of a crane to ensure a safe job. They removed another large tree at our Middle river house last year that was particularly difficult. At both homes the trees were very close to the house. They did fantastic work. Protected our lawn with plywood runners. Raked all the small branches and debris. Several of the neighbors booked them for work after observing the job. Highly recommend.
