Rodney and his team at Empire Tree handled a tree removal service at my home in Hughesville. The monster among these trees was a 4-trunk tulip poplar that towered over the house. They tackled that tree and safely dropped each one exactly where we discussed avoiding damage to my yard. They were all prompt, courteous and professional. Rodney was very communicative and truly aims to please his customers. They removed eight trees in total, cleaned up after and worked until the job was done to my satisfaction. The price was very reasonable for all the work they did. I am grateful to Rodney and his whole crew at Empire Tree. Thank you!

Empire Tree did an outstanding job with tree trimming and removal for our church. Great team and great service. I did my due diligence and got several quotes from all the companies that service my area, and while the other offers were competitive, Empire Tree was just too hard to beat. I couldn’t say no. Setting up the work and the schedule with them wasn’t stressful at all, and they made everything easy. They are fully insured and are extremely knowledgeable in this field—two very important things I was looking for. Watching them remove my trees with top tier equipment was neat to see. I’ve never seen tree cutting that didn’t involve a person physically in a crane with cables to attach to sections of the tree. Empire Tree’s equipment didn’t need all that, so it was safe for the entire crew, which I appreciated. They were very careful in moving parts of the trees to the street and their truck and the wood chipper, so there was no damage at all to my house or the houses around my house. The trees I had removed were between my house and my neighbor’s house, so it was a difficult location, but they were able to get to them no problem and in a short amount of time.  Clean up was done quickly as well. All around excellent service that I would recommend to anyone in need of tree services in southern MD.

Empire did great work on removing our trees! Came out the same day to review the land and removed the trees a few days later. Quick and efficient, no messing around with schedules or pricing.

Where do I even begin? Not to turn this into a sappy story but I’m just really thankful for finding Empire Tree when I did. With all the storms this summer and all the tall trees in the area, I was always so scared that one would fall on my house. Ultimately, that fear came true recently as one windy night did knock one of the trees over, and luckily, only tore my gutter off. I was calling all the companies in the area to see who would be able to come out on short notice and at a reasonable price. Almost every other one I called were charging an arm and a leg and/or couldn’t come out for weeks. I wanted to remove the tree to prevent more damage to the house, so I was anxious about finding someone fast. Then after a handful of failed attempts, I came across Empire Tree. Rodney picked up right away, even though he was about to start another removal that day. He took the time to talk to me about the services his company can provide to help, and he even had the most reasonable price out of everyone! Not only was he able to get the job scheduled right away, he also made sure I wasn’t being scammed with the price, which helped a lot! I’m so thankful to have been helped so quickly! The entire team that came out was amazing. They took down 2 huge pine trees in about 1.5 hours. Cleaned up the entire yard after their work was finished. I also had the stump grinding done and some roots removed the day after the tree removal and again they did an amazing job. Price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Empire Tree Service.

Rodney was quick to come out and handle a tree that fell into the side of our home. They were cleaned up and done within an hour. Given the weather, the lawn was torn up and he's going to handle fixing it once it dries. They even put a temporary patch over the damage so no more water could get in. Top notch service and would absolutely recommend for future work!

Rodney and his team did a great job removing a very large tree with multiple trunks from our yard. They were able to work in a fairly tight space between our house, a shed, and a fence. And they managed to get this monster of a tree out of here without hitting or damaging anything. It was impressive to watch them work. Rodney and team were amazing. We had five trees fall with one hitting the house and deck. Called Rodney for an estimate he was at my house within hours, made plans to come the Very next morning with a crew. The team had the five trees cut and cleaned up within 4 hours. They were professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again.

After nearly seven years of waiting to have this project completed, I was fortunate to observe Empire at work in my neighbor's yard. Their efficiency was remarkable—like a well-organized team of professionals, equipped with state-of-the-art tools and led by knowledgeable arborists. I was so impressed that I immediately requested their contact information.

I reached out to Empire on a Friday, and despite it being a holiday, Rodney made an appointment and arrived on the holiday exactly as promised. His professionalism and dedication, combined with a clear and reasonable estimate, convinced me that Empire was the right choice.

The team was very communicative of any issues or weather delays. They were very respectful and professional every step of the way. I was fully aware of how the process would go and the time frame to compete the job. The job they did was immaculate! I can't believe how safe and clean the yard looks without the hazardous 40-50ft trees. I woild recommend Rodney and his team to anyone that needs trees cut in a clean and efficient manner.

Rodney came out promptly and provided a quick and respectable quote, beating three others I had gotten. I told him I wanted all these trees gone! He said wait, what if we just cleaned it up, lifted these, did this… He didn’t immediately jump to the prospect of taking me for thousands to remove trees, instead gave a professional opinion on how to reach the goal of what I ultimately was trying to accomplish and at a great price. His team showed up the next day, and honestly watching them was like watching an orchestra. Well organized and coordinated team, tremendous teamwork. I just closed on this house and had already a great vision of my kids playing in the back but after the tree lifts, some removal, the entire backyard and side of the house looks completely different. Was an amazing feeling seeing that new vision in my head of the space (and shade) that they had now.

Three trees removed, half dozen or so given a face lift, three stumps ground down. Firewood left behind for backyard fires and the wood stove. Area left clean.

10/10 have already recommended and will use him and his crew again.
