Stay away! We had a 9am appointment to open our irrigation system today. It is now 5pm and they have not come. We arranged our schedules to be here to let them in. We called to find out when they could come and they told us that the next appointment is in one month. Very unprofessional.

I was trying a new company, my mistake. First appointment, I left work and waited 2 hours into a 4 hour window to find out there was a mix up and was scheduled for another day. Second appointment, I come home to meet the maintenance team and get a call cancelling at the time of the appointment, once again sitting at home wasting a day. Unreliable company!

Todd and the Chesapeake Irrigation team designed and installed a beautiful outdoor lighting system for our home. It truly transformed the property and our neighbors have commented on how great it looks. Todd was prompt and helpful and the entire project was completed ahead of time, on budget and with an excellent result.

One of their technicians, Michael, is the most sexist and rude person I have encountered in a long time.

We have used this company for a while and my husband has been generally satisfied, although recently we’ve had an issue with the sprinkling system. We were especially watchful of a section of the system because we had some new landscaping installed. The system was watering sporadically and technicians came out several times without fixing the problem. Finally they sent Michael, who claims to be their senior technician. He convinced my husband to replace the existing system with an updated version. During the initial conversation, he repeatedly ignored my inquiries, directing everything to my husband. After the new system was installed and tested, I tried to point out to him that there are areas that the sprinkler heads are not reaching. He walked back and forth past me several times as he took the ladder out of his truck, installed the water sensor, put the ladder back in the truck, etc., without answering me. He finally said that the test only ran for a short time and after a full cycle all the plants would be reached. I wasn’t satisfied with that explanation because I could clearly see the difference between wet and dry areas around the sprinkler heads. He told me that my husband had said it was ok, and I replied that I am also a customer who is pointing out something my husband hadn’t noticed. After another period of his silence, not responding to anything I asked, I lost my temper with him. I asked him for his name three times before I found out he is Michael. I reported him to the company and received a very appropriate response from the office manager, who arranged for another technician to return.

A few days later, a different technician arrived. He was everything Michael was not. He listened to what I had to say and said it might not be possible to correct it. Nevertheless, He ran the system, confirmed the problem existed, and proceeded to try to solve it. He replaced a couple of sprinkler heads and re-directed them. At My request He politely spent time with me showing me how to program the new system. And he completed instAllation of the rain sensor, which Michael had not done. I was completely satisfied when he left.
