Being in need of professional landscaping help we asked around and spoke with a number of landscapers and designers. After meeting and speaking with the folks at F.A. Hobson it was an easy decision. They proposed an amazing patio design incorporating existing features and went over every aspect of the process in fine detail. They were receptive to our ideas and visions. They have also solved our drainage issues with grading design and drain installation. Needless to say, we were very happy with the results. I will admit that one time we did scheduled a different company to simply freshen up our mulch beds and realized that there is a difference even with something as basic as mulching. (Easton, MD) Great experience with Hobson. We needed a little water management and a long built-up bed (over 100' !!) developed in our back yard. Andy put together a great plan with lots of really nice plant selections and accenting stone work. The results look terrific and the crew under Ariel's guidance was efficient, courteous and cleaned up nicely when the work was done. Overall I really recommend Hobson Landscaping. We will be sure to use them for our future landscaping needs.

Our back yard looks great! Very happy with our fountain, gazebo, trees, and shrubs. Everything is flowering right now (early August). Do not be fooled when the plants are first added, as it will take a year or two for them to get to "awesome". Hobson was very helpful with plant choice and setting up the fountain. They are the first pick for landscaping around here.

Andy and his team have done excellent work for me across multiple large scale projects at our house on the Eastern Shore. He's reasonable, practical, timely and a pleasure to work with. He guarantees the health of his plants and will replace them if they don't survive. In addition to planting, site works, grading and garden maintenance, he's also done an excellent job with stonework, including sourcing large amounts of specialized stone in coordination with our landscape designer, and he helped me create a vegetable garden of raised beds separated by stone paths. I highly recommend the F.A. Hobson team.

We could not have been happier with Hobson Landscaping!! We had a lot of work done including walkways, plants, trees, sidewalk lighting etc. We did not know much about shrubbery etc but owner Andy was so helpful and came up with a great plan for us. Andy and his team did a fantastic job on our major landscaping project. He was great to work with, and his design was very well thought out. His knowledge of the plants used in our project was evident. He reworked our drainage and grading as well, and also designed a beautiful paver sidewalk that transitioned to our tile porch.
