Scott is very knowledgable and responds quickly. We have been using this company for many years, and have always been very happy with his work.

Call and ask for an electrician and before you finish getting words out of your mouth of what you’re needing, he rudely interrupts you and tells you what you need and when you try to tell him you don’t need that because you already have existing outlets there so no permit is needed he gets louder and won’t let you talk. Won’t be working with someone who interrupts and is really rude on the phone. I’ll take my hard earned money somewhere else.

The owner of Main Street Electric came to our home to replace two outdoor electrical boxes. He spent 2 1/2 hours working on this. Much of that time was spent walking back and forth to his truck (multiple times), and at least a half hour was spent telling us about what is code and what is not. Of course he charged us for the time he spent telling us about a bunch of electrical jargon that we didn't need to hear. He charged us the going rate per hour for the work provided. However, he also charged us double for all of the parts and wiring used on the job. I looked up the parts, as indicated on the invoice, and found that most were at least double the purchase price (as compared to the prices indicated on Amazon, Lowe's, and Home Depot) . In addition, the other work that I wanted performed, he said he couldn't do until October because it is too hot right now to get up into the attic. Really? So I can't have my ceiling fan fixed because it is too hot for him to do the work. Not exactly what I'd call good customer service. He made a mess in my bathroom while pulling dirt out of the ceiling fan and just left it on the floor. He did inform me of the mess, but didn't clean it up. He also left a bunch of trash in my downstairs trash receptacle. Most contractors that I have had in my home previously have been very professional and always clean up after working and never leave their trash. We are, to say the least, disappointed in the service provided and the prices charged.

I have used Scott's services 3 times now, and I've been happy every time. I had an issue with my outside outlets not working and he spent 15 minutes on the phone with me at no charge to diagnose the issue. I ended up figuring out the issue right before my scheduled appointment. It was exactly as Scott said -- some GCFI I didn't know existed had tripped and cut off power. When he came, I was fully expecting to be charged for the visit, but he did not charge me. In fact, he stayed for almost 30 minutes answering my questions about other concerns I had in the house due to the previous owner's poor electrical work. He genuinely loves what he does and it shows. I'm thankful I have an electrician I trust that can be called upon when needed.

I have what many would consider a “nightmare house.” I bought it from a flipper and as far as I can tell they purposely did everything as incorrect, dangerous, and just plain wrong as possible. So when I discovered this, I knew it was going to be a challenge to find someone that was both knowledgeable enough and honest enough to fix all the problems in my house and Scott has exceeded all expectations! He shows up on time, figures out all the various, confusing problems of my house, fixes them, and even takes the time to explain to me what was wrong, why it was wrong, what the proper code was, and what he was going to do to fix it. He even cleans up after himself when he is done.

Very happy with the work Scott has done and I feel so much better knowing my house is safer for my family and me.

All around excellent service (installation of a new bathroom exhaust fan including external ductwork). After submitting an online request for a quote I received a call within 30 minutes. I then was emailed a summary of the proposed work and quote within 30 minutes. We were able to schedule a time for them to come out less than a week later. They arrived within the allotted window and did the work efficiently. House was pristine afterwards. Al around excellent- I would hire them for future electrical projects!

I needed a streetlight installed by my parking pad to charge my electric car with. Stella provided a very competitive rate, dug the trench and set up the wiring themselves. They arrived at 7am and were done by 11am. Very helpful staff that even helped me find the right accessory to make charging more efficient going forward. Highly recommended.

The technician arrived 10 minutes early and work efficiently to install my Tesla wall charger. Took about an hour to install because he was missing a needed part. I would certainly recommend Stella Electric to anyone needing this service.

Richard did an awesome job installing 2 ceiling fans and swapping out the receiver in an existing one. He was friendly, efficient, and even made sure to vary the dip switch settings. The latter may not sound like a big deal, but my neighbor has the same fan installed by the same builder and because they didn't change the switches from default, they were turning our fan on-and-off every time they used theirs. I'm glad not to have to relive that experience!

Jay was another excellent technician from Stella Electric. We have been using this company for the past two months after moving into a house that needed much repair. They have done excellent work and they have all been a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this outstanding company.

Highly recommend! We called around to everywhere and no one would install a light fixture due to such high ceilings in our home until we called Stella. They were very polite, professional and knowledgeable. We have used them a few times for other jobs around our house and will continue to use their services in the future.

Stella did a great job. While they may not be the least expensive option - working with Rich and John was great. John did a fantastic job with a wide range of projects in our new house and we will definitely use them again.
