Tree reviews in Reisterstown, Maryland

Hamby Tree Experts Company removed (10) 70 ft. white pine trees, a tall spruce and an old dogwood tree from our property last Fall. The skill, workmanship and professionalism were top notch and the price was right!! With the amount of trees removed and stumps ground, the cleanup effort was exceptional!!! We highly recommend this company!!!

Paul is insanely knowledgeable and personable. We contacted him for one tree and he was out within days. He gave us a tree education and some recommendations to enhance our property and protect our home. He and his crew came out today and when we got home we were beyond impressed with how our yard looked. Thanks to his recommendation we now have a larger yard and our home has more curb appeal. Paul thank you and your crew for an amazing job.

Chris and Paul Hamby and there entire team did an awesome clearing our lot. We had a large overgrown area behind our home. Many large trees and lots of vegetation and debris from years of neglect. They were referred to me by a neighbor who has used them multiple times. I especially like that Paul and Chris, the owners of he company, were on the job site every day, all day. We spoke every morning and they were always responsive to my questions and needs. They came out when they said they would, took care to not damage any of the existing structures on the property and to do their best not to damage any of the nicer bushes/landscaping.. Additionally they promised to return to grind any stumps that they might have missed during this large and complex job. They have been back to do that as promised, no questions asked. They were friendly, and extremely professional. I would highly recommend them, and will definitely be using them for future jobs. Thanks!

I am not one to write reviews, but this was absolutely amazing service. I have used other businesses in the past but this company far exceeds expectations in terms of value, timeliness, and professionalism. Had several extremely large trees threatening our home and they brought them down safely and cleaned up all the mess with a friendly, expert crew. They did so well and so efficient, we had them take down more while they were here. Will have them back in the spring for more clean-up!

Hamby Tree Expert Company just did a job for us recently and we are very pleased with the experience, from the estimate to the completed job. The estimate was emailed to us in a couple of days from initial call, as promised. Another email was sent several days before they came to do the job, again as promised. They were on time, neat, quick, careful with our landscape and cleaned up all debris upon completion of job. They did the job just as we agreed upon. We couldn't be more pleased with the work that was done and the price. We definitely will use them again if needed and will recommend them to anyone needing an expert tree service.

The team arrived early and took care of every detail. They removed trees that were 90+ years old. The team was very careful, professional and left the area spotless. Thank you!

The Hamby brothers and their crew are awesome. Reasonably priced and very professional. Paul Hamby came the same day I called to provide an estimate. Great work and clean up. These guys know what they are doing. !!! Estimates are free and quick to respond.

Hamby Tree Experts took down a row of 30 scraggly Leyland Cypress trees for me and did an excellent job. They were quick to respond to my request for an estimate, brought a big crew and all the right equipment to do the job FAST, removed all the stumps and did a final grade that's almost good enough to just put grass seed down. They were quick to respond to my texts and emails too. I couldn't be happier with the work they did and highly recommend their work!

Our rental house had a very large tree fall on the house penetrating in about a dozen places. This was 10am on 5/7 Mother’s Day weekend. No one else answered the phone but Hamby did and also did the work through pouring rain that afternoon! They brought their Crain and crew in and took care of the tree by dark. They came back Monday and cleaned up so well you wouldn’t have known a tree fell except that there were holes in the roof. Amazingly professional and an excellent job. We were able to get our tenants back in the house Saturday night!!! Will have their number in my phone forever!

Would highly recommend Hamby Tree Experts for all of your tree needs! They are knowledgeable and provided direct information on what we needed done for services. Their crew was efficient, safe, and very polite in interactions. Their pricing was some of the best. I would absolutely use their services again and recommend to friends.

Hamby Tree Company completed a large job for us in March 2019, removing 10 trees. Good price and a tremendous crew. Very professional and detailed oriented. Also, super good on the clean-up. Highly recommend Paul and Chris Hamby and their company.

Paul and the Hamby Tree experts team went the extra mile in removing three trees and stumps. Their pricing was competitive and fair. Their service was above and beyond - exactly the kind of service you'd hope from any vendor. There was regular communication from the time of the quote until the time of service completion. No surprises, just quality work. Amazing!

Excellent work by professional team. The Hamby crew arrived early and removed two huge, dead ash trees from my yard. Large branches overhung power lines. Paul and his team had the know-how and equipment to take the trees down quickly and safely. They were done by noon. They hauled away the wood and ground down the stumps. They left the area clean and tidy. I was impressed with all facets of their operation. Although I have no more dead trees to remove, I will be calling for limb removal and tree trimming.

Hamby Tree Experts are the best! Their tree service is reliable, and efficient with outstanding cleanup. I had a double red oak that needed to be removed close to the house and shed. Six guys showed up and worked for 4 hours. Not only did they take down the double tree and 5 small trees, but they also ground up the stump. Very efficient and professional from beginning to end. If you want it done and done right for a fair price Hamby Tree Experts are truly the BEST!

It is hard to find a suitable service these days to do anything good. The Hamby Tree Experts took down four very large trees today. The Hamby Tree Experts are not just good; they are excellent—local family business, very professional, very personable, and punctual. Don't go anywhere else. I highly recommend it. I would give them more than five stars if that option were available. Thank you, Hamby family, for the excellent service.

I just had a massive white oak tree die and needed it removed. It was close to our house and surrounded by asphalt. After interviewing several tree companies, I selected Hamby for their experience, their equipment (they didn’t have to rent a crane because they owned one), and it was obvious that they wanted to the job right and not just get the check. They showed up on time, went right to it, and within 6-7 hours they were done! Mind you this tree’s base was 60 inches! I am so glad I selected Hamby for this project and would strongly recommend to anyone. A+++ ...and I got a great price as well.

We are very pleased with the Hamby team from start to finish. Paul was out multiple times to work though our project, taking the time and care to ensure all our questions were answered. The removal days went smoothly, the team worked quickly and protected our yard and fence. Thrilled with the results!

This is a professional company. I like to watch the teamwork with people that know their job and do it safely. I will never use any other tree service. Hamby is the best tree service. Price is excellent and their work is great from beginning to cleanup. Thank you to Chris Hamby and his professional crew.

Hamby Tree Experts did an excellent job removing 6 very large dead Ash trees from our property damaged by the Emerald Ash Borer Beetle. Their operation is amazing, I was quite impressed by the equipment used for this large job and the number of employees required to safely and effectively complete the job. They cleaned up after the job and left our lawn looking like it did before they started. We would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them for any of our future tree needs.

This Sunday 1/20 I noticed a leaning ~50-60' Pine tree in our back yard that due to all the rain and wind, was dangerously close to coming down onto our deck, possibly clipping our house. I found Hamby online and submitted and online quote request through the Hamby Tree Experts website and received a call within 15 minutes from Paul Hamby. He let me know he was available to come out the next day to check out the tree. I was unable to meet him on site, but while I was at work on Monday we spoke about the tree on the phone, and he also had the eye to point out to me a dead cherry tree that was in danger of falling on my power lines. Paul gave an extremely fair price for the removal of the two trees and I agreed to having the work done. Throughout the week, I sent pictures of other smaller, half-dead trees that I figured I'd have removed and Paul and I easily came to an extremely fair total, including the removal of a dead maple branch that had been hanging up in one of my trees for over a year. Paul fit me into his schedule within the week given the danger of the leaning pine and showed up the exact day and time he said he would and he and his crew worked quickly, safely, and efficiently to professionally remove all of the trees we had discussed. The entire time I had communicated with him on the phone and email, and ended up marking the trees with paint I wanted removed. I never even had to be on site for my specific project and Paul knew exactly what I wanted done. His crew cleaned the area and left no trace of work having been done, minus all of the dangerous unsightly trees we wanted gone. I would HIGHLY recommend Paul and his crew for any tree work. He is passionate about his work and does professional work at fair and honest prices. This is the tree company you should be using. I know I will be again in the future on a couple of other projects I need to do.

Need any tree services? Give Hamby Tree Experts a call, don't bother with anyone else. They just removed 18 trees from my backyard, and the job they did was STELLAR! I could not be more pleased, and I highly recommend them. Paul and Chris are friendly, knowledgeable guys with a solid, reputable team working with them. Their prices are truly the best in town, and the quality work they do is impeccable.

Thank you, Hamby Tree Experts!
