Really disappointed with JECO after a life-threatening experience earlier this week.

One of their drivers nearly ran my husband off the road while clearly on his phone. It was a very close call, and what made it even more alarming was that the driver never even looked up. That kind of behavior is incredibly dangerous and could easily lead to a serious accident.

We called to report the incident and were told the owner would return our call by the end of the day on April 20. That never happened. We’ve followed up twice since then and still haven’t received any response.

At this point, it’s not just about the driver, it’s the lack of response and accountability that’s most concerning. If this is how serious safety issues are handled, that’s a major problem. When there’s so little follow-up for something this severe, it makes you question how they handle services at people’s businesses or homes.

It shouldn’t take someone getting hurt for this kind of reckless and inappropriate behavior to be taken seriously. Very disappointing.

The only reason this company will get 2 stars is for coming out for an emergency call, however after that it was a terrible experience with Mr. Michael Johnson. This company replaced our electrical panel after it was burned. We went through with our insurance for reimbursement and they were requesting a detailed invoice from the electrician. Mr. Johnson refused to provide a detailed invoice, and said he would charge an additional $150 to provide an invoice even after we paid a large amount for him to replace our electrical panel. As a result the insurance company was not able to reimburse us for all of the charges. He took advantage of our emergency and I regret not going with another company.

My power was completely out. I placed a call to Johnson Electric. Mr. Johnson quickly responded to my call, assessed the issue and got to work immediately. I had the electric panel replaced inside, a new meter box installed, ground wiring installed, and the connection to Pepco replaced, both legs. He gave me a great price on materials and labor and did exactly what he said would do. He was friendly and willing to work with my wife and I. I even placed I new call to replace a fuse that had blown as a result of some work Pepco did. Not only did not charge me for the new service call, but he did not charge me for the new fuse or the installation. I would highly recommend Johnson Electric to anyone that needs fast quality service. FIVE STARS!!!!!

Great experience overall. I had an emergency and they came to evaluate promptly in the middle of the night. They came back 48 hours later and rebuild my entire breaker panel. I felt confident with them.

Mr. Mike Johnson was pleasant to deal with when my family was in crisis Christmas eve night he fixed are electrical panel for us to be safe until the insurance company settle with us. Team Ross recommend his honest and being on time. God sent individual and a treasure to your company. Thanks The Ross family. In closing he came out 3am Christmas morning and stayed until 6am in the morning before his temporary work was satisfied.

Thank you JECO! I called as a new customer after hours after I lost power and a weird burning smell filled the house. Michael Johnson called me back within minutes and within a half hour, Jay the electrician was at my house and fixed the issue. Thank you for the great service!

They charged me $7875 for an outlet and breaker box and never finished the job. The outlet was put in incorrectly, the box wasn't labeled to indicate what was connected to what, and the work wasn't certified. Additionally, the invoice is not correct, we weren't given a warranty, and rather than be given a 5.9% home projects loan like Michael & Sons did for our furnace, I had to pay almost $8000 up front to get a job done with work unfinished!!!! We will have to call another electrician to finish everything and certify the work. I wish that we had called someone like M&S!!

Mr J came trough for us in short notice to address inspection items for a home sale. He was very professional and communicated through phone calls, text messages, and picture/video to support his work. We no longer live in the DMV and coordinated the work from the opposite coast.
