Plumbing reviews in Sandy Spring, Maryland

I cannot say enough nice things about this company. Jimmy and his team are extremely competent, knowledgeable, and very reasonably priced. My wife and I have used them for a number of projects—ranging from repairs and maintenance to renovations—and the work is always done professionally and quickly. We look forward to working with Alpha in the future. Folks should look no further than Alpha if they need a plumber in Alpha's service area.

AMAZING SERVICE !!! 10/10

Exceptional service would recommend for all plumbing issues !!!

They did a great job! They were easy to work with, fair pricing, explained their work, and cleaned up afterwards.

I actually didn’t end up needing service but back in February on a Saturday we had sewage coming up through the drain in our basement shower. The water company wasn’t answering our calls and alpha 1 was the ONLY service i could find that went above and beyond to try and help me and ended up sending someone out later that night. Wssc came before the plumber and fixed the problem but i will be using them the next time i need a plumber!

After calling countless companies who were unresponsive, Alpha came through quickly, thank God. The technician Armando was really professional, and cleared up the tub stoppage so quickly! Highly recommend, and reasonably priced!

Outstanding service by Alpha Plumbing on a very serious clog. This job required experience, skill and the right equipment and Alpha, in the person of Ismail, delivered. Highly recommend Alpha

I highly recommend Jimmy and the Alpha 1 team. We had sewer back ups into the basement. We were told by 3 franchise plumbing companies that we would need to dig up the cast iron pipe under our basement and replace it. Jimmy looked at their video and instead proposed descaling and jetting. He came on time, did the work, and camera’d before and after so that could all see the problem and how it was fixed. His decision making, experience, and skill earned our trust. Thanks!

We use Alpha Plumbing as our regular plumber when we need work done. They are always responsive and do wonderful work. We have had work done both by Jimmy the owner and by his son Michael. We recommend them extremely highly.

Alpha plumbing is by far the best tech service I have ever used. Their tech Michael was extremely professional , polite , on time and extremely knowledgeable. Their expertise along with their price, is unbeatable. Will be using them again for all my services needs. Highly recommend them and will not be using anyone else. Also, extremely COVID Safe. Top notch sanitization, and overall cleanliness. Thanks again Michael for cleaning my pipes out!!

I had a service line leak happen this week 11/28/23. Due to having had Alpha Plumbing perform work for me in the past, I did not hesitate to call Jimmy of Alpha Plumbing. Jimmy/Ismael did not waste any time coming to check out my issue and give estimate. The work was performed professionally, and efficiently the next morning and completed the next day. I highly recommend Alpha Plumbing should you need, reliable, reputable plumbing service.

I never leave reviews, but I felt like I had to for the level of service I received. For a bigger job I had a total of 5 companies give me quotes. Alpha, by far came in the cheapest and cheapest the service was unmatched.

Thanks, looking forward to using you again on the next project.

I contacted Alpha Plumbing due to an issue in my kitchen. I spoke with the owner, Jimmy, who was extremely helpful. He assessed the issue by asking a few questions and put me on his calendar for the very next morning. His two sons showed up right on time, and they were both extremely professional and friendly. The job was completed perfectly, and you can’t beat their prices.
10 out of 10 service and experience. If you’re looking for a reliable, family-run local business with excellent prices and top-notch service—this is the place!

Alpha is a very professional company, direct and experienced they use quality materials at the best price possible. Labor cost is reasonable comparison to many other businesses. You don’t need to shop around if you call them. Thank you Jimmy we are extremely pleased.

We found a leak under the kitchen sink, so we had to turn the main water line off until we found the cause. However, guests were due in six hours and we had no water for the toilet, showers, kitchen, or anywhere in the house. Very stressful. Alpha sent Michael, who was knowledgeable, courteous, and fixed the problem in only 21 minutes -- much less time than expected! He also installed a new valve so that I can turn off just that valve if I ever need to in the future -- without having to turn off all water in the house. Our house has old copper pipes, so that was very thoughtful. We were very impressed with Michael and with Alpha Plumbing. They came within less than two hours, fixed the problem expertly and quickly, and charged the agreed-upon fee. No surprises. We would definitely recommend Alpha Plumbing and their plumber Michael.

We had an issue with a shower valve and couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Alpha Plumbing. This family owned and operated company were extremely responsive, came out right away, quickly diagnosed the problem, and fixed it efficiently. The plumber was friendly, courteous, and clearly knew what they were doing. Excellent workmanship and truly exceptional service—we highly recommend them.
