Electrical reviews in Silver Spring, Maryland

Isaac and the Lux Now team were amazing! We recently purchased our forever home a few months ago and did a total retail of the electrical from the panel, wiring, outlets, fixtures and recess lighting throughout (we got a ton of work done!). Isaac and team handled everything wonderfully. Great communication throughout the project and also provided great ideas in terms of design. More than anything Isaac and the team were reliable and operated with integrity - timely with the work and didn’t try to upsell ( if he didn’t think we needed something he let us know) and above all else the quality of the work was great and we get regular compliments from our guests. Isaac and team will be part of our future renovations to come and I highly recommend them!

Osmin was excellent and efficient in replacing electrical receptacles, and very friendly. They accept several forms of payment, and were very communicative in the scheduling.

Great service! Very respectful, friendly and also professional crew… I will recommend them.

I recently hired Lux Now for electrical work in my home, including lighting installation and general wiring upgrades, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The team was professional, punctual, and highly knowledgeable. They explained the process clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure everything was installed safely and efficiently. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations, and they even left the workspace clean and organized. I would highly recommend Lux Now for any electrical projects, whether for homes or commercial buildings.

Great team, they work fast and even accommodated my request for emergency services. We were having some issues with the lights in the kid’s hallway and they came and fixed it the same day.

I really appreciate how fast they work and the fact that they cleaned up after themselves. In the past we’ve had a different company come in and they left some debris laying around, but these guys didn’t leave a single spec of dust behind.

Owner is unreliable.

I recently hired NGS to handle some electrical work around my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The team was professional, efficient, and their work was top-notch. Thank you for your hard work!

Owner promises his employees raises and doesn't follow through. Abuses their work for low pay and takes full credit. The 3 people giving the 5 star reviews are his friends. Unprofessional. Do not recommend.

George and his team did a pretty big job for our company, and the work and communication was flawless. He gave us recommendations on what to do and they got all the materials quick when there were shortages. They are my go to guys going forward!

Poor communication

Thomas was professional, courteous, and pleasant. He addressed all of the electrical concerns identified in my home inspection, and everything looks good! I would hire him again.

Can’t speak on the electric company’s work. However I can state that whomever was driving the black pickup truck around 11:00am 11/22/2024 around Bowie, MD. was doing so erratically. I witnessed them weaving through traffic, run a red light, as well proceed to merge into me. There was no space, no blinker usage, just an aggressive lane change with complete disregard to the havoc that could have resulted. I have a 3 month old newborn in the back and had to pull over to calm myself before I could proceed on my journey. If I am ever in need of electric work I know who not to call.

Ugh, I was so stressed when half my outlets just quit on me right before I had guests coming over. I called these guys and the electrician who showed up was actually early, which never happens. He found a loose connection in the panel pretty quick and didn't even mind my dog barking the whole time. It’s such a relief to find a company that doesn't try to overcharge you for a simple fix.

So glad I found these guys. Our main breaker kept tripping right when I was in the middle of a huge laundry day, and I was panicking about all the food in the fridge. The electrician was super chill and fixed the panel issue without making it a whole ordeal. He even tightened a few other things while he was at it. It’s just nice to have everything working right again without the stress. Highly recommend!

Seriously, these guys are a lifesaver. My garage door opener kept tripping the breaker every time I’d try to leave for work, and I was losing my mind. The tech came out, found a messy connection in the panel, and cleaned everything up. He even showed me what to look for next time. It’s hard to find an electrician in Texas who actually takes pride in the small stuff. Super honest and didn't overcharge me. Everything is solid now!

We had to install a garden light, excel electricians did the job quickly and the work was flawless. Lots of attention to detail. Will recommend them to anyone.

Jacob diagnosed the problem within just a few minutes and started working immediately. He was very professional at it, and he explained every process along the way. We were amazed by his working style and his professionalism. We would gladly like to have Jacob if we need any help in the future. The service of this company was more than excellent, and we recommend Excel Electricians-Silver Spring to everyone!

Kris and Peter did an exceptional job installing my new dining room chandelier, and they came in under the quoted price. They finished the job in under two hours, and the results are fantastic. I’m thrilled with their work and will definitely turn to Excel Electricians for any future electrical projects.

If dependable local electricians are what you’re after, I recommend Excel Electricians-Silver Spring without hesitation. Courteous, budget-friendly, and truly skilled at what they do. I’ll definitely be calling them again.

Had Excel Electricians do some electrical work at my home. They came on time, were respectful, and finished the job without any hassle. Really easy to work with!
