Interior Construction Contractor reviews in Silver Spring, Maryland

Highly Recommended!

Added a sunroom and a bedroom to the existing home

Wonderful experience! Very professional and excellent communication.

David and his team were very professional and helpful throughout the process. I definitely hope to work with them again soon.

I recently did partial basement finishing work with D'Canales and David. Very professional, good quality and great communication. Would work with them in the future.

We used this company to update our newly purchased home from top to bottom. The Contractor was responsive and was on the job site 6 days a week.

David and his team are very professional and pay great attention to detail. During my remodel, they were very prompt and were very responsive even after the remodel had been completed. Highly recommended!

We had d’canales do two projects for us recently and they did both with the utmost professionalism and did a terrific job. We had them fill in our swimming pool and they went above and beyond and now we have a beautiful back yard to enjoy with our son. Definitely would recommend.

The team was very professional and clean. They worked on schedule and we never found them "simply relaxing" when they should have been working. We would definitely consider D'Canales for future projects.

We recently renovated our entire condo through D'Canales - kitchen, bathroom, floor, dry wall demo/repair and paint. It was the best experience we have had working with contractors. They are professionals who take pride in their work. We would highly recommend their services.

A branch knocked a gutter and flashing off my roof, and David’s crew fixed it within the week. Super professional, high quality work. I’ve used them for scheduled work as well (a half bath renovation) and will absolutely use them again.

I am beyond pleased with David and his team. Not only did they do an impeccable Kitchen Reno and Deck Reconstruction, I got the benefit of David's strong design acumen! Would definitely use again and have continued to refer D'Canales General Contractor, Inc. to other friends and relatives.

David & his team are absolute life savers! They’ve been there for us in a pinch every time & we couldn’t be happier with the work they did to repair our kitchen after the dishwasher decided to leak & flood everything. We’d be lost without their help & can’t recommend them enough!

David was very helpful coordinating our varied needs redoing our townhouse foyer, powder room, a basement bathroom, updating lighting in our basement family room, and elsewhere. His suggestion of a pocket door for our basement bathroom makes its shower much more accessible. The two person crew assigned us were great, showing up promptly 6 days a week, working thoroughly and neatly in all tasks. They even rescreened our deck door and repaired fascia board under our gutter. JF & MM in Silver Spring.

The D’Canales contractors are very Professional, prompt and work with promptness and integrity. I had to replace a concrete patio pad and they performed a facelift of my house front with new concrete steps, railing, Front door and storm door, new lamp post, mailbox etc. They did an awesome job! My husband and I are so pleased! They used high quality materials and the price was reasonable, he worked with us! We will be using them again and again. I highly recommend them. They are the best!

David and his team did a great job at finishing my basement. Everything went according to plan and budget, with no unforeseen change order. Quality and value! Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to finish or remodel their basement.

David and his team were great to work with. David really listens and is incredibly responsive to requests. He also has great ideas of his own. His crew was extremely courteous and professional and the work was top notch. I highly recommend DCanales Contracting.

David Canales has a really good sense of what will look good. He will do exactly what you ask him to, but if you follow his suggestions you will be better off. He has an excellent team of skilled workers who are polite, hardworking, and courteous. They pay close attention to detail and did many little extras including beautiful recessed lighting, trim and cabinetry work to really turn out quality workmansip. They really transformed my house into a beautiful new home. I am really pleased with the result.

David Canales is just finishing the first floor remodel of our home which involved demo-ing the entire kitchen and adjoining room and powder room as well as reflooring and refinishing existing hardwoods throughout, installing recessed lighting throughout and opening up spaces for increased flow, as well as custom building storage in a mudroom. The transformation is spectacular!!!! We are absolutely thrilled with the finished product! David had wonderful vision for how to open up the spaces to make our home feel contemporary and improve the overall flow of the first floor. He was very eager to make our design vision for our home a reality. He presented a very competitive bid, and stuck to the timeline and budget. A few unexpected hiccups arose along the way, as is to be expected in a Reno of a 50+ year old house but David was always very positive and knowledgeable in presenting our options as far as how to resolve them and then implemented them quickly and correctly. David has an incredible attitude and work ethic, his attention to detail is second to none. His crew was punctual, courteous, tidy and always on task, and the quality of the work is outstanding!
One often hears horror stories about remodeling projects running amok but our experience with D’Canales couldn’t have been more positive! I can’t say enough good things about this company and David. We will definitely work with David again soon on other projects in our home and would (and already have) recommend him to anyone looking to take on a reno/remodeling project!

D'Canales and his contracting crew were great. We had them renovate our entire downstairs, and flooring throughout the entire house. David was great with assistance in looking at cabinet, appliance, flooring, hardware, and countertop options. He is knowledgeable and able to answer our many questions and deal with last minute modifications to plans. Him and his crew were great on working with us to ensure that renovations were handled in various rooms even while we needed to work from home during the pandemic. The crew followed medical protocols during the entire timeframe - almost 4 months. Their custom work is also amazing and we have a lot of people ask us about the custom wood work they did, and many positive comments. His follow-up to questions and warranty related items post renovation has been amazing. The level of customer service is unmatched. We have dealt with quite a few other contractors in the region and being able to call or email David and get a response over even a visit to look at something within a few days is a nice change of pace. Will definitely work with David and his crew again on projects in the future.

David is great to work with, very friendly, listens to what you need and makes good suggestions when needed. His team refinished our basement and did some other minor work around the house. It took a little longer than projected, but the end result was well worth it.
