Masonry Contractor reviews in Silver Spring, Maryland

Very professional contractor. Completed our front stairway with high quality workmanship. Their expertise of 20+ years really shows. They were very helpful in scoping out the job so that it met our needs with great aesthetics.Thank you Chris and team.

First class customer service and the quality of their work is second to none.

Excellent, prompt, beautiful work. Competitive pricing. Highly recommend!

Crew came by, surveyed my site, and gave me great insightful information on what to do and what not to do for work I needed. Highly recommend!

Haven’t used these guys before, but just saw a driver toss a lit cigarette out of the window in front of a lady walking her dog… disappointing.

We have had our patio redone and installed an outdoor fireplace. The team worked hard and did great work.

The Scango brothers were true professionals! They did a fabulous job. We highly recommend them!

The crew led by Mario Rivera was excellent, honest and very professional. They worked with me and exceeded my expectations.

Chris has done a couple of relatively large projects for us. High quality work. Always responds for maintenance and touch ups. We have been very happy.

We are delighted with the work Capitol Hardscapes completed. The crew and management were great to work with.

Very satisfied with the flagstone walkway and porch cladding. Quick, professional work and great attention to detail. Thanks, Chris & Team!

This is exactly the type of business I look for. Large enough get the job done but small enough that the project is managed carefully, the owner actually works and the crew is valued and respected. Very easy communication and professional job well done. Highly recommend.

Capitol replaced a long brick retaining wall along our driveway. They were easy to work with and they made some key modifications to what was there before.

Capitol Hardscapes is the best! Our patios are gorgeous! Furthermore, they are efficient, communicative and clean throughout construction. Couldn't recommend them more!

Excellent craftsmanship, responsive and reliable. Highly recommend this team for design and installation of permeable pavers.

Great service and cost while Chris guided me through the process. Whole team was respectful, punctual and completed in time frame discussed. Only hiccups were county permits and weather. Highly recommend.

The Capitol Hardscapes team provided fantastic service and craftsmanship on my recent backyard patio. Their attention to detail and willingness to work with us to provide a custom solution made all the difference. We highly recommend the team!

Highly highly recommend. We hired them to add a flagstone terrace, stone bench seating and work tables - all to match existing wood oven. Plus replace concrete sidewalks w/same AND rebuild a 1920’s era stone curb flanking our driveway (that they did permeable pavers in 2013). Excellent design suggestions, and excellent execution by the crew and supervision by the Scango brothers. Did details didnt expect like a temp mailbox when sidewalk work precluded access. High quality YET was low bidder! Extremely satisfied.

Capitol Hardscapes did an excellent job replacing our old asphalt driveway with permeable pavers. Chris and John Scango were helpful, informative, friendly, and responsive, answering all my questions and making sure the work was done precisely according to our wishes. Their crew, headed by Pedro, was highly skilled and always ready to explain what was going on. They cleaned up the site perfectly, left no debris at all, and coordinated well with the town's code enforcement officer and arborist to protect nearby trees. I highly recommend them and would have them back for any further work needed.

So glad I chose Capitol Hardscapes for my project including paver driveway, adjacent retaining wall and new steps connecting the driveway to my front path. It looks amazing, greatly increasing my home's curb appeal, and is extremely functional. The crew was reliable and professional, worked hard to deliver maximum aesthetics and communicated with me throughout on options and questions. Very professional job - absolutely satisfied and recommend this family-owned, local company. Lots of praise from my neighbors!

Chris, John and their crew no doubt were experienced, professional, friendly and helpful. When the crew showed up at the jobsite, they each knew their own responsibility and they complemented each others very well. Chris and John were flexible and accommodated last minute minor changes. As a result, our driveway turned out beautiful/gorgeous. Capital Hardscapes is highly recommended.
