I want to take a moment to thank Donnell, and his team for not only an outstanding job, but also great customer service. From the very beginning it was a trusted relationship. My hardwood floors look amazing as well as the decorative wood work adding to my family room. You all have made a customer now and in the future as well as me sharing your great work. Thank you!

I love my remodeled bathroom. It’s my own personal spaaaaaaahhh! Our living room and dining rooms are beautiful. We are really pleased with our additional bathroom in the basement.

Working with MHS Construction Company was an absolute pleasure. They have a team of experienced professionals that really know what they are doing. We picked this company after getting 4 quotes to finish our basement. MHS Construction was very responsive to our questions, professional, fair, and did quality work. Using current technology in communications made things quick and easy with regard to quotes, invoices and payments. They helped us with design decisions, balancing between customer provided items and items they supplied, that kept the level of quality we desired without blowing our budget. We are very pleased with the final product!

If I could give Donnell and the team at MHS Construction more stars, I would. These guys did such a fantastic job helping us bring our gutted basement back to new life! Beyond the actual work, the communication was reliable, consistent, and professional. Any questions I had - no matter how many or how simple - were answered with patience. All processes were explained clearly. And even when something came up where a layout that I had approved didn't turn out so great in real life, or deep plumbing issues were discovered, we were able to talk it through, design a new approach, and execute.

I am well pleased with the work and the service. MHS is now my go-to for ANYTHING related to remodeling. Not just kitchens and bathrooms, but anything else.

Contacted this company to get an estimate for an involved job. After I explained the history and what was needed, the gentleman who answered the phone was a little condescending so I said that's okay, thank you for your time and hung up.

So my stairs in a 3-level townhome needs to undergo a major repair/replace. The gentleman stated I should send pics and they will provide a virtual estimate. I replied that the job was involved and although I understood no estimate could capture all the needs, especially until you can see underneath, but to start out not seeing the work area first hand doesn't make sense. The gentleman goes on this diatribe about how no estimate can capture all of the work and that's why it's called an estimate. He goes on to say that if anyone tells me an estimate would capture the full job, then don't believe them. I replied, i understand that, however, with this type of job where you're going to have to go into walls to gain access then repair those walls, seeing the job first hand to understand the scope enables a more quality estimate. He replied that estimates are just a starting....at that point I said, never mind. Thank you for your time but I don't think we need to go any further. Have a good day.

Due to the damage done to the stairs by the other contractor, I know this job will not be less than $20k. Therefore, to try to explain the importance of seeing the area first hand to a new contractor did not bode well so it was best to end the engagement.

Their work may be stellar, but the gentleman did nothing to build my confidence in their abilities.
