Reviews of local pros in Upperco, Maryland

EXCELLENT WORK. EXCELLENT PRICE.!!! I HAD NUMEROUS ESTIMATES BEFORE SETTLING ON NICK AND ACER. THE PRICE WAS RIGHT AND JUST LOOK AT THE OUTCOME!!! (THE BEFORE PICTURE IS FROM A LANDSCAPE COMPANY I HIRED 6 YEAR AGO!!

Was referred to Nick through a local arborist. After shopping around for a few specimens, I decided to work with Acer. Efficient team that did quality work in a short period of time. They aren’t lying when it comes to price and service versus a wholesale supplier. 10/10

I cannot say enough good things about Acer Landscaping. Professional, timely, and incredibly thorough- to name a few. We have used Acer Landscaping for many projects, including this retaining wall, and I will never go with anyone else!

Acer Landscaping is better than 5 stars. Mark & Nick offer customer service and care that is almost impossible to find these days. They delivered beautiful trees, shrub & plants (bigger and better than promised), and their patience with us on selections and easing concerns was amazing. Mark who designed & oversaw our job went especially above and beyond to make us happy; He & the rest of the crew are absolute gems. This company and the people really care about customer satisfaction and deliver beautiful landscaping. We are Customers for life.

Nick and his team did a fantastic job for us today. Completely overhauled our landscaping and I couldn’t be happier. Nick and his crew were incredibly efficient and professional. The price was very reasonable and I paid exactly what I was quoted. Would definitely recommend them for your landscaping needs!

We hired Acer Landscaping to solve serious flooding issues in our backyard. Our old patio (see photos) sat at one of the lowest points on our property, which led to constant water pooling during heavy storms. With two dogs tracking mud through the house, my wife and I were beyond frustrated and knew we needed a long-term solution.

From the start, Acer stood out. Nick and his team provided a detailed estimate along with thoughtful suggestions that ultimately made a huge difference. They were punctual, professional, and incredibly hardworking—even in the heat of summer.

Now, over a month later and after several intense storms, we’ve seen a complete transformation. No more flooding. Acer regraded our yard, installed a proper drainage system, added a new garden, and built a stunning new patio that has completely changed the look and feel of our backyard.

We’ve received numerous compliments on the patio—it’s not only functional, but beautifully done. It truly feels like an extension of our home and has made the backyard a space we actually enjoy spending time in. Our dogs love having a dry, clean place to roam, and it’s become my wife’s favorite spot to relax or host friends for an evening get-together. The difference is night and day.

We couldn’t be happier with the results. If you're looking to update your yard or tackle drainage issues, I highly recommend Acer Landscaping. They’re reliable, skilled, and easy to work with—10/10 for any landscaping or hardscaping project!
