They were prompt and did a good job.

Good communication and impeccable service. I hired them because I've seen their work. They clean up after storm damage without leaving a trace. My job was no different. You can't tell the tree was ever there and no debris left behind at all. I did find their prices to be on the high side - but you get what you pay for. Southern tree service is licensed and insured and does top quality work.

The sad part is I wanted the service because there were some great reviews and other people I worked with said the service was good with some nice competitive pricing. The problem I had is that Damien showed up to my house twice without me asking him to come. One time i was at work and the other time i was coming back from an appointment. That is unprofessional and that turned me off from doing business with him.

My project was surveyed weeks in advance which included a drawing of the tight space, height of tree, branches, and my specific purpose which was to only clear the tree away from the house. The crew that was sent out left huge truck imprints on my neighbors yard, they began cutting at the base of the tree vs trimming branches, and instead of adjusting the bucket or using ground tools to trim they packed-up and left. The guys did not listen to the foreman on the ground but responded with they had other jobs. I spoke with the owner and he responded they probably brought the wrong bucket, the guys are inexperienced, he never received any complaints, and he was not empathic at all. I canceled my 3rd appointment because I don't want to give me hard earned money to a company that does not respect my time, who send out personnel who cannot communicate to the customer, and a company that encourages employees/1099 personnel to walk away from jobs.
