David was quick with cutting our grass and did an amazing job. Lawn Love was quick with getting our service scheduled. The service was convenient and saves me a lot of time, I am glad I signed up for it.

Lawn Love… sigh.

My wife and I had our first child about 2.5-3 months before reaching out to Lawn Love to help us with our yard. Last spring, we had sodded the entire back yard due to it being a dirt lot and wanted to ensure that the time and effort we expended would not go to waste. Plus, we just needed/wanted to take some of the weight off of our shoulders and have the yard:

1) Aerated
2) Seeded
3) Weeds pulled from the mulched areas in the front and on the side of the house
4) Spray the entire property with weed prevention

The 1st time (yes, first time) Lawn Love arrived at our house they aerated the yard, but left a 3-4 foot perimeter around both the front and back yards untouched. They did seed the yard. They did not however weed nor spray.

We contacted Lawn Love and questioned their work and requested that they come back and finish the work we requested. We also contacted our credit card company to request that the payment be held until the work had been completed.

The 2nd time Lawn Love came to our place, they cut the front and back yard, which we did not ask for. Normally, I’d be elated that someone had cut the yard, however I had cut the yard the night before Lawn Love had previously seeded. Per the instructions sent to my wife and I concerning aftercare for the newly seeded yard, “Keep your lawn mower away from your new grass until it’s around 5” tall, and don’t cut it to less than 3”, to help protect the tender stems.” Lawn Love cut the back yard grass down to what I assume is the lowest mower setting which was significantly lower than 3” and did not bother to bag the clippings. To put things into perspective, I filled 2 kitchen garbage bags with grass clippings left in the back yard alone. Needless to say, my backyard is now largely dead between the mowing, killing of the original seeding, and the amount of clippings left everywhere. Also: No weeding. No spray.

Once again, we reached out to Lawn Love and requested that they return to our place to complete the work we’d paid for. To prepare for this appointment, we discussed with Lawn Love the proposed work via text message presuming that by virtue of the instructions being provided in writing this time that this would finish the project off.

The 3rd time Lawn Love came over, they once again cut the lawn (still haven’t asked for the lawn to be cut), but weirdly only the front yard this time. They did weed, but only the front half of the house. We’d been texting with Lawn Love and specifically said to weed the front yard and the side of the house. We live in a townhouse with only one side yard; they never even walked around the side of the house. Once again, no spray.

Again, we reach out to Lawn Love immediately. Lawn Love agreed to come back that same evening and finish the job.

That evening, the 4th time Lawn Love came to our place, they did weed the side yard… only half of it. They walked past a 5’x15’ weed-y bed and didn’t touch it. They also indicated that they would not be spraying as they did not have the spray.

In short:
Lawn Love took four appointments to “complete” the originally requested work…
Performed services we did not ask for…
Scalped our existing grass…
Destroyed the newly planted grass seed that they themselves had just laid down…
Sold us services they don’t even offer…
…and still failed to complete 4 pretty straightforward tasks which resulted in my wife, less than 4 months post-partum and in between breast-feeding sessions, pulling the remainder of the weeds out of pure frustration.

😱 Horrible Service!
1. They quote one price and then charge another
2. They say they are sending out “Pros” To perform lawn care when in actuality, it appears that they’re picking people up off the street and hiring them to cut your grass.
The guy that came to my home the first time came prior to the scheduled days that they gave me. I was unaware that he was cutting my lawn until I happen to look out the window to see what was going on outside and this person was actually leaving. I stopped him and asked who he was and why was he cutting my lawn. He then indicated that he had come to cut my grass. I said you are a week early…who told you to come today? He told me GOD. I was through. How unprofessional was that? When I asked why didn’t he ring my doorbell to let me know that he had come to cut the lawn early, he threw his hands up in the air as if to say oh well. I asked him why he was leaving without completing the agreed-upon service. He told me my gate was locked. DUH?
So I guess as far as he was concerned, since he couldn’t get into the backyard then oh Well. I contacted the LawnLove care 800-number that day to cancel my services.
I could not believe that someone would come to my home, not acknowledge their presence and then not do the service. And guess what…..they continue to bill me???

This is the worst company I have ever done business with.
Please, please, RUN from Love Lawn Care!!!!!

I am very pleasex with the service I was give last week. Brian arrived on schedule and went about his business efficiently doing a really good job on both my front and back yard. Frankly, it's been difficult getting a lawn service that was affordable AND dependable but Brian's service was both. I especially appreciate his friendly, yet professional deportment and arriving the morning he is scheduled without delays. As a new homeowner, my "to-do" list can be overwhelming. My lawn is one chore I know is covered, which sounds small but is really helpful. I highly recommend his services.

Great job, thorough, quick especially that our grass was thick and 10 inches high due to our mower being in repair for over 3 weeks. If I need it done again I will not hesitate to call them, and not wait 3 or 4 weeks to do it!

Allison Maria Fernanda did an excellent job in blowing, picking up and disposing of the leaves around my house. I would definitely hire them again!

Christian always does a great job but what was exceptional today was he spotted a hearing aid i had dropped on the ground and made sure it was safe by placing it on my front porch where it would not be damaged. Saved me a lot of money!

Fantastic service with thorough detail lawn care. First time experience with Terrence from Lawn Love. I would highly recommend this service. Nice flexibility with three minimum lawn care sign up—doesn’t have to be consecutive weeks, if you just need occasional help due vacations or other things that make life busy. I love mowing my own lawn, but I love having good reliable service to fall back on.
So, whether you want weekly, biweekly or other arrangement, count on the folks at Lawn Love to get the job done right.

I am two mows in with this company and very upset with the way our lawn looks! I didn’t believe the price was so low and now I see why. The quality of work is poor. The lawn “professionals”(. I’ve used two now, and supposedly a top rated one just left my home) do not do a complete or neat job on lawns. Is bagging the cut grass or cleaning fences and corners something that has to be explained over and over?🤦🏽‍♀️
I was trying to give my husband a break from doing it this time and they’ve left the property a mess! Why are lawn services so bad?
I don’t want a 3 cut minimum when you can’t get 1 cut right after two tries!

Rescheduled twice due to “inclement weather” on sunny days. They skipped my backyard the first time, and the next service was a no-show, but my card was still charged. Customer service promised to make it right with a free mowing, but I was charged again for the makeup visit, and the “refund” was only applied as a credit for a future service without disclosure. I’ve only used them a few weeks, and it’s been exhausting, confusing, and frustrating. I’ll use that energy to cut my own grass.

UPDATE 9/23/2025: After posting this review, I was contacted by a third-party company (ConsumerComplaintsBureau.com) on Lawn Love’s behalf. They initially stated that my refund would only be processed if I changed my review to 4 or 5 stars or deleted my review. I refused and clarified that I would handle my review and chargeback independently. This is a clear attempt at review manipulation and review suppression. Rather than resolving issues directly, they attempted to use refunds and outside pressure to control public feedback. This is an unethical practice. Proceed with caution.

EDIT: After my initial experience, Lawn Love reached out to reconcile the issue and issued a full refund of the long grass fee. I was pleasantly surprised and genuinely grateful for their attentiveness and commitment to customer satisfaction. They took responsibility and made things right, which speaks volumes about their integrity as a company. My faith in Lawn Love is restored, and I truly appreciate the effort they made to ensure I was satisfied.

James was my service advisor for my lawn mowing service. He came a day early and did such a wonderful job. I truly don’t have a big lawn, so it has been tough for me to find reasonable priced companies to take care of my grass. I believe I finally found the right company for my lawn service/needs.
