Jim installed two circuits and two Tesla EV chargers for us. The workmanship was excellent, the price competitive, and everything works perfectly. The communication during the job was great, as was the experience prior to the work. Monumental was able to provide a quote with pictures and a conversation, and were more than willing to come onsite, but being able to get an estimate without a visit saved us a lot of time. He was always very responsive and scheduling was very convenient. He installed a new circuit from my panel to my garage and installed/programmed the Wall Charger. His pricing is very competitive. I would highly recommend this electrician and will plan to use again if I ever need electrical work done in the future.

Amazing customer service. My daughter contacted Monumental Electric via chat. They were super responsive and came out to fix our electrical issue 1 day after a major snowstorm. Then my electrical panel wasn’t up to code and they were amazing to help me buget the cost of that project along w hanging a ceiling fan. James is punctual, polite, and very patient. Besides being a wonderful electrician, he is great at diagnosing possible factors that may have caused my electric outlet to misbehave. After thoroughly testing all possible contributing factors, the outlet did not arc or spark. The outlet was replaced as it was close to it's self life. He also took time to explain other electric recommendations. He was clear about his upfront charges and any additional charges that could be incurred. I highly recommend contacting him for services you need. He will be my 'go to' for some planned future projects.

I'll preface this review by saying that I am a picky customer. I normally like to just do everything myself due to this but electrical work is something I would rather just pay for the experience and knowledge.

BLUF: Use Monumental (Jimmy)... You wont regret it.

My experience...

1. Researched three different Tesla certified installers that had the best reviews. I emailed all three the same day. One of which I never received a reply. One that emailed me back same day but as I am writing this review, I am still waiting for that quote. Monumental (Jimmy) CALLED me same day & had a quote for me within an hour. I waited for five days to see if I would get replies back from the other two companies to which I did not. I texted Jimmy on that Friday telling him that I wanted to use him for the install and he had me scheduled for the upcoming Monday.

2. Monday arrived and so did Jimmy. I made him aware that I was picky about aesthetics and it didn't bother him one bit. He was efficient & cleaned up after himself. If I didn't have a sweet & perfectly installed charger on my wall, I would've never known that he came. I also try not to helicopter too much, but when I did it didn't seem to bother him.

3. I was skeptical about how he had a perfect rating on Google, but I can see why now. If I have any electrical work in the future, Jimmy will be my first call!
