Fabiano is a fantastic landscaper and a fantastic guy! We sub-contract him to do turf installations and every project comes out amazing! He is lovely to work with and I could not recommend him enough!

I contacted this company through Thumbtack, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. They already had over 30 five-star reviews, and now I understand why. From the very first meeting, Fabiano was extremely communicative, clear, and transparent. He explained every detail of the project from start to finish, making sure I understood the process, timeline, and expectations. Woshington was incredibly professional and precise in the execution of the work. The quality of the service was outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. The project was delivered exactly as promised — and honestly, even better than I imagined. Everything Fabiano explained at the beginning was followed perfectly, with no surprises. If you’re looking for a reliable, professional, and detail-oriented landscaping company, I highly recommend them. Excellent work from start to finish!

Anderson and his team removed our existing patio and installed a new and larger blue stone patio. The work came out beautifully and I would use them for future work. They were very professional, always on time and communicated with me along the way. The job was finished within a few weeks and in budget. They cleaned up the area at the end of each day and when the job was finished, they repaired any small areas in our lawn that was affected by the patio work (i.e. the perimeter). I would highly recommend them for any stone work given their skill and meticulous care.

Promised grass after grading project. When it did not grow in he refuses to return calls or repair his work once final money is collected. Cheap, rocky fill. BUYER BEWARE

Brito’s helped turn our vision into reality! The house had lots of overgrown landscaping and Brito’s helped pull, prune, and move the shrubs around to better fit the house. Brito’s will try their best to work within your budget and won’t leave until you’re happy with the final project. We’re looking forward to using them for another project this spring.

Do not hire this company! They did a poor job and rip you off. His portfolio (pictures) are outdated from when they first started so don't go by those. They only care about doing a good job when is for rich customers, like those in Hingham (the reason why I hired them- what a huge mistake). My home is in Weymouth, so that's how I saw them. Alex is a liar and got unprofessional. He used his broken English as an apology for "miscommunication", etc. All of his employees only speak Portuguese so you can only speak to Alex. He shows his true colors after you have hired him obviously.
Had to end our contract without the work being finished. Had enough when I found out they were peeing in the backyard! The job was to fix my lawn and place a partial fence and they couldn't do it/didn't care. Everything happened within 2 weeks.
Stay away honestly!!
Do your research or go with a company that someone you know has used. I have learned my lesson. This was my first time hiring a landscaper.

I'm an irrigation technician, this is a repair I had to fix underneath Britos stone work. This is a major liability if they are doing improper irrigation repairs, do not hire this company unless you want a 10 gallon per minute leak to wash away your patio one day.

Hired to plow driveway and they do a horrible job. They skip areas of the driveway, pile the snow in front of sheds and the stairs to the porch. When asked to do a better job we were told they are just trying to be fast

Brito’s offered same day estimate for our project w/ lots of photos of previous jobs. Friendly owner, Alex w/ family of landscapers. In Aug 2023, Brito’s replaced our asphalt walkway w/ pavers & front steps w/ granite steps & a design w/ pavers. Sided part of our driveway w/ cobblestones & replaced small rocks above side steps w/ pavers & replaced garage door step w/ granite & veneers around step below door. Pricing was very good compared to other local landscapers. Hard working & experienced crew did an excellent job from prepping walkway to slope markers for rain runoff to fill material in walkway & then pavers to cleaning up everything. Suggested a driveway sealer, Competitive Sealcoating, who also did an excellent job. We picked out higher end pavers from Back Yard Living in Abington, MA which won’t need to be sealed in a year. Excellent displays of pavers & very helpful & informative staff there. We are very pleased w/ professional workmanship & would highly recommend Brito’s for your landscaping projects.

These guys keep parking illegally in front of our house. We’ve called and asked them nicely to leave. Nothing. We’ve called the police who told us to call every time it happens. They still do it. Apart from blocking our door and driveway, the workers will just throw their sandwich wrappers on the ground leaving us to clean up after them. Please don’t support this company as they have no regard for the South Shore community.

Johnson always shows up, does a fabulous job, and charges a fair price. I have used their services for over 20 years after trying a half dozen other landscape companies.

They have the same employees year after year. If you are hosting an event and let them know in advance they will make your place look perfect. Everyone compliments my yard. Totally a positive experience in every way.

We have been using Johnson for the last 2.5 years since we moved into our new home in Hingham. Ryan and his crew do a lot of work in our neighborhood and have been great to work with, as they are reliable (with weekly schedules), consistent (mostly the same crews), and easy to communicate (text/calling) with if I need something. We use Johnson for our weekly mowing, spring/fall cleanups, and mulching.

Johnson did a great job repairing and reseeding damage to my lawn from a truck. The final cost was less than originally quoted.
They also successfully treated the lawn for grub damage.
Extremely satisfied with their work.

Used Johnson’s services for many years since retirement. I am very fussy on my bushes and grass and weeds.
They always have the most trustworthy people at my home, which is important to me, they work hard, ring my doorbell asking if I have any instructions, like this summer I have the lawn cut higher due to heat and no rain.
The office manager Rose always answers the phone and communicates my thoughts to the workers. Top notch Rose. And they always show up. Rob a manager does special jobs, and clearly knows his business with lawns, bushes, weeds, grubs etc. Which I think is rare. And Ryan the manager is unusually accessible, works hard, and ensures the work on my home is perfect. And due to him many of his workers are long time employees which is impressive. I want to know and trust the person working on my property. Lastly, Steve the owner created this and reflects on all this good.

Most of these landscape firms I think are good. Their guys work very hard. But I, knowing my outside and how to take care of it (3 acres), Johnson in my opinion is EXCEPTIONALLY EXCELLENT.

These people are so careless. They come by and blow your leaves into other people’s yards, they have zero care in the world about doing this. Multiple times now I’ve cleaned my yard, and then those guys come to my neighbors and I have leaves all over. My driveway is now covered. They pay no attention nor do they care…which is fine because as soon as they’re gone I’m going to get MY leaf blower out and blow them allllll back over to where they came from. Next time you should consider removing the leaves, not blowing them over to the customers neighbors yard. This has happened more than once. If I go out there and watch them and yell they are more careful. If they think I’m not watching they carelessly do this job as fast as possible to get to the next house. Messy job. They don’t even get the yard they’re working on looking good. I do a better and more thorough job and I am a 45 year old woman doing it alone.
