We called Dan to build a patio for us. After looking at the pictures on the website and having our consultation we knew we were in good hands! Dan and his crew were amazing and worked very efficiently! Within minutes of reviewing the final product (which we love) we were already planing out the next project we would like him to do! We would STRONGLY recommend them for any projects, they are worth every cent!

It is hard to find companies around these days such as D.R. Stonework and Landscape. They are true professionals and care about their work. Danny came out to assess the job and provided a timely estimate and comprehensive design plan. He was very thorough and explained everything making sure I was happy every single step of the way.
The workers arrived on time and put forth extreme effort and care. They were incredibly polite, and it was clear that they cared greatly about the work they were doing. They were the nicest crew and truly went above and beyond. The work they did was phenomenal and completed exceeded my expectations. They are a true mark of a great business. I could not be happier with the quality of the work they did. They are amazing.

D. R. Stonework and Landscape Company recently completed our patio project and exceeded our expectations. Danny R. the owner of this small company personally is involved in all aspects of the work from design, quoting and installation. He is a skilled mason and designer. I have found him to be to be professional, reliable, honest, and trustworthy. He understood our needs and guided us in planning our patio project. We met with him a number of times and he was flexible in accommodating our requests. His quote was itemized and defined the project in detail. Never any surprises and it was completed as he quoted and on time! His staff Jeremy and Steve were courteous and did first-rate work. Danny worked closely with our carpenter in coordinating the integration of the deck and the patio. We wanted a new walkway between our driveway and front door entry. As we thought about the project, the numbers of options for design and materials became overwhelming. Fortunately, a couple of years before, we worked with Danny of D.R. Constructing and Landscape, Inc. (D.R. Stonework and Masonry) when he and his team repaired our patio and a brick retaining wall. Danny’s talents were apparent as he guided us through choices, showed us the actual materials, and made practical and stylistic suggestions. He prepared a cost estimate within days, work began on schedule within weeks (thank goodness for good weather), and the project was completed in about 5 working days. The crew members were regimented in their starting and finishing times each day, which was helpful because we knew when we had to move our cars out to the street to allow driveway access for their machinery and access to our cars. Every team member was professional, friendly, courteous, and diligent in cleaning the site at the end of the day to reduce the inevitable dust that was generated. We are very pleased with the ornamental and functional end results: a beautiful, paver walkway with gentle curves which is pitched for water drainage, a more functional set of coping steps (wider and less steep than what we had) from driveway to walkway, a handsome salt-and-pepper granite light post (with a handy electrical outlet) near these new steps, and new front door steps with granite treads and addition of a beautiful granite veneer. Every person’s home is their castle. We say, “THANK YOU” to Danny and his team for making ours a better one!

We are repeat customers of D.R. Stonework, having hired Danny three years ago to install a patio. This year, Danny worked with us to give our family a beautiful, functional, outdoor kitchen. When you work with Danny, you get an honest, hard working professional. The structures he builds are solid; he goes above and beyond to ensure you years of enjoyment. He works with safety in mind; we never had to worry about our little ones while the project was underway. This company did an excellent job on the masonry project we had them do at our house. We got honest answers to all our questions before, during, and after the work was done. It was the best experience we've ever had with a stone mason, they showed up when they said they would, they finished on time, and cleaned up after themselves. They are knowledgable in their field and care about their work and their clients satisfaction. This all shows in the quality of the finished product. I have already reached out again for another job. High recommend them.

Dan and his team were the best. Dan was so easy to work with. When he found a drain running under my old walkway he had a solution to make the drain better. Dan helped me pick out a really

I can’t say enough about the experience I had with D.R. Stonework. I recently bought a new home and contacted D.R. to replace an existing walkway. Danny’s communication was top notch. From the planning stages to the final product, Danny was there each step of the way ensuring I know what options were available to me and ensuring my happiness. The rest of the crew was great as well even taking the time to show my excited toddler the cool tools. Quite honestly, five (5) stars are enough. Highly recommend.

We are really pleased with the entire process and the final result of our project by DR Stonework. Danny was very prompt in getting us the quote and the renderings for our front yard landscaping, walkway and stairs. They started work a couple weeks ahead of schedule and finished before the original start date. The whole team of guys on site each day were nice and accommodating. And most importantly the final result is beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. I would recommend Danny and his team to anyone.

D.R. Stonework does amazing work and transformed my backyard from a blank slate to a beautiful patio. Dan got back to me right away and came out to look at my backyard as soon as he could. I had a hard time with other companies giving me a call back but Dan frequently communicated with me throughout the entire process. Excellent work only outdone by exceptional service! I called Danny from D&R Stonework & Masonry with an emergency job on 16hrs notice, not only did he pick up each time that i called but answered every question with patience. His crew showed up to pour a new concrete slab for me the next day, AND ON TIME.

If you want a knowledgable company that takes pride in their craft and that you can trust I highly recommend spending your hard earned money with them.

We hired D.R. Stonework to put in a patio around our inground pool. From the get go, Dan (the owner) was very transparent, honest and professional. He worked tirelessly with us to make our dream oasis become a reality. The land needed a lot of grading, the access to the back yard was less than ideal and the weather didn't always cooperate. Through it all Dan and his crew were there every step of the way doing exactly what they had set out to do, in the amount of time they told us the project would be completed. The end result was even better than we could have ever imagined. The patio looks beautiful and the grading around it is spectacular! I would recommend D.R. Stonework to anyone who is looking to have excellent masonry work done. He is very flexible, understanding and punctual. Never did I have to wait for a reply to an email or a call back! Every day we got a report with what had been done and what still needed to be done. He helped us out more than I had anticipated and for that we are very grateful. It's not easy picking out a contractor that you will like and will do good work but I'm very pleased with our decision to hire Dan & his team and will definitely hire them again for additional projects! I hired DR Stonework to repair a stone wall surrounding my circular enclosed porch which was built in 1925. I was so impressed with the owner, Dan. He is an expert in his field and knew immediately what material the stonework was made of- stone and lime. He wanted to keep the integrity of the original structure. He is an excellent communicator and explained every step how he was going to do the job. He and his crew are professional, hard working, honest, prompt, polite, and fair in pricing. His written estimate was very detailed. Dan and his crew take great pride in their work and are very fussy about the details. My husband and I are extremely happy with their work. They will come back to do another job for me in a few months. You are in good hands if you hire this company. Thank you Dan and crew members! Great job! I needed to re-engineer and replace our front walkway and also add some stairs from the walkway to the side yard. It was a very complicated grade and required careful design. I researched possible contractors for months and solicited multiple bids. I chose D.R. Stonework because of their fair price, coherent explanation of their planned approach, and consistently excellent Google reviews. My experience mirrored the well deserved reviews. Danny (the owner) is hands on for every aspect of the project and he is 100% committed to assuring customer satisfaction. He stands by his proposal and was clearly committed to making sure I was satisfied every step of the way. He comes with a large crew (6 plus folks) and they were all polite and hardworking. Overall, the end result was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. Danny's knowledge and experience is what makes this business a good choice but his integrity and work ethic is what makes them an exceptional choice. It's rare to receive service of this quality from any vendor and it made me feel fortunate that I found D.R. We will certainly use them again. Thanks Danny for a great new walkway!

And Part II: After successful completion of a new front walkway and stairs (described above), we next proceeded to Part II which was a complete renovation of our side yard which started with gravel and mulch and old concrete stairs. We came up with a reasonable budget and put things in Danny's hands to come up with an entirely new design vision and to address some significant drainage issues. The end result was an extensive new drainage system, a complete refacing of the existing stairs with a new stone top and sides, a beautiful stone paver patio and matching walkway, a grass center yard (using sod), and a lovely bed to incorporate existing plantings. The final product was exceptional and a complete transformation of our side yard. Again, the same crew returned and handled everything with great attention to detail and Danny supervised things every step of the way, It wasn't a cheap project by any means but Danny's prices were fair and the quality of the design and execution was a 10 out of 10. It has added much enjoyment for us and will certainly enhance the value of our home. D.R. Stonework is now a trusted vendor for us and we would not hesitate to recommend them for any significant landscape masonry project.

This summer my timber retaining wall was failing quickly and I needed it replaced before it fell. I called DR stonework from a friends recommendation. Dan walked me through the process and gave me a detailed and transparent estimate of the project.

I had alot of concerns going into this because this was an unexpected expense and I know nothing about retaining walls. The wall was also abutting a part of my yard where my septic tank was buried, which could have been a logistical nightmare if the wall fell.

From the estimate to choosing the materials, Dan taught me enough about the project to allow me to make informed decisions that fit my budget. I must have asked a million questions and Dan was patient and candid with his answers.

The crew Dan brought was awesome. They were professional and very respectful to my family and property for the whole week they worked here. I can't say enough good things about these guys.

The end result looks better than I imagined and so much better than the original retaining wall. Dan made sure I was 100% happy with the results before he considered the job done.

My mother was burned by another contractor who took her deposit and promptly disappeared-- easily three months of chasing yielded nothing but frustration, and we were ready to throw in the towel before taking a chance on a phone call to DR Stonework & Landscaping. It really is that simple— Danny, the owner, helped up “snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.” A statement like that might sound like hyperbole but it’s not— the paving work is impeccable and not only is the property beautified in a permanent way that translates to curb appeal, but the walkways are SAFE for the aging occupants of the home. Also, you feel excellent about having them on the property while the work is ongoing, which is a testament to the company’s commitment to transparency and honesty. Navigating the contractor space can be a maze, but here you find visibility, and that’s worth a lot. Bottom line: these are really good guys who do beautiful work— do not hesitate to call.

We contacted Danny in early Spring this year to get his thoughts and costs on a new stone patio in our backyard after having received a few other quotes. We didn’t love the other contractors and D.R. was recommended by many people in the Attleboro area so my gut told me to get ONE more estimate.

After my first phone call with Danny, I had a feeling that he’d be great and that was confirmed once we had a few meetings with him. He’s honest, responsive, kind, passionate about stonework and really talented. After going through an incredibly awful experience with a bathroom contractor, it was such a relief to meet Danny!

He worked with us repeatedly until we found the perfect stone without ever pushing or rushing us. His team of MANY guys was here every day to do the job at 7am sharp, all of whom seemed noticeably dedicated to their jobs under Danny’s leadership. When we were confused about how to do the trim, Danny was patient. When there was an area that needed some rework, Danny and his team were here immediately. THAT is when you truly see the difference between a respectable contractor and a bad contractor.

We thought the estimate was reasonable and the work was excellent. What we appreciated above all else, was the collaboration, patience and customer service by DR Stonework. We will be contacting Danny again when we are ready to redo our front walkway. Thanks Danny and the team.

Danny and the team quickly and skillfully repaired what had been damaged, and built us beautiful front steps that our neighbors keep complimenting.
