Victoria came to our house to provide an estimate on renovating two bathrooms. She was prompt, polite and professional. She gave a thorough overview of our options and provided design ideas we had not yet considered. She was very thorough, anticipated our requirements and offered creative solutions. Her communication was frequent and candid. We have the utmost confidence in Victoria and Tom Curren Companies to improve our home with future projects.

Exceptional company. For Tom it is all personal. He oversees the project and takes deep pride in the excellence of the results. True attention to detail. When the work is completed they do an excellent job of cleaning up. For such high quality work their prices are more than reasonable. And there are no surprises. Tom presents a detail proposal after having gone over what needs to be done. The proposal includes detailed photos which is very useful to see before and after. Highly recommended.

RIght from the start the Tom Curren Company was fabulous!! Barry was extremely professional, giving us prices, specifications, and time line. They got to work right away. In fact, the entire project took only a few weeks and it was not an easy job since we found out that the walls needed to be insulated and the door thresholds had been throw away years ago. The crew was unbelievable. They simply made new ones on the spot. It was also decided after the carpet was taken up on the stairs that the wood needed to be sanded and stained. Well, they called people in and did that too. The final project is stunning and has transformed our little house from an outdated (1990 old carpeted stairwell) into something sleek and polished. I would hire them again in a minute.

We had needed some repairs and painting done to water damaged and rotten parts of our homes exterior.

Tom Curran and his team identified these areas and repaired and repainted these problem spots. The workers did a great job, performed all repairs as described, and cleaned up after themselves when done with the project. I was impressed by Tom's teams resposiveness and professionalism, and I will definitely hire Tom Curran for our next project.

Tom Curren Companies did a beautiful, immaculate job painting our house in 2012. When we moved to a new house in 2018, they were the first company we called for an estimate to paint the interior of the entire house. While their estimate may not be the lowest that you receive, the value they provide and the incredibly high quality of the work they do is absolutely worth the cost. It's also so convenient that they can care for many different types of work: interior/exterior painting, tiling, carpentry, repairs, and remodeling (to name a few).

Bryan turned around our estimate incredibly quickly and helped get us on the schedule as soon as we were ready to go. Diego was our crew chief and he and his team completely transformed the look of our home, taking time to do extensive prep before painting to make fixes large and small so that the final look is like paint going on brand new walls in a 100 year old house. And Chris, our project manager, helped walk us through a tough paint decision and made coordinating the details of the entire project a breeze. Everyone we work with at Tom Curren Companies is a pleasure. We can't recommend them highly enough!

My experience with Tom Curren Co was excellent. I reached out with questions about repairing my deck. They responded quickly and Ian came a few days later to provide an estimate and answer my questions in detail. On the day of the job, the repair team were on time, easy to talk to, and did a great job with the repair.

Tom Curren Company remodel my kitchen. We took down a wall between my kitchen and dining room. They were professional at every step from estimating to deconstruction to remodeling. We were very fortunate to get an outstanding team who did a great job prepping the house, including stripping, bleaching and final power washing, along with some carpentry to replace some soft trim boards. The trim was painted with fine detail, shingles oiled with just the right color and the house has been restored to better than its original look. We even had a chance to social distance with Tom himself. Completely satisfied.

We just used Tom Curran Co for a second home project. We had a general idea idea of how we wanted our project to come out, and Tom Curran Co helped it come to reality. Paul helped draft our design, and Gilmar came out to put the drafted plans into place. Everything came out beyond better than expected, from start to finish. We had professional assistance from Tom Curren's staff in planning various parts of our kitchen remodeling project and in selecting paints, lighting fixtures, faucets, and drawer handles. There was a professional project manager on site every day workers were here, and he checked in regularly with us. We were able to make choices at every step. They finished the job about on schedule with only a couple of short delays, as one can expect in a large project. Very professionally managed!

We are very pleased with the work that Tom Curren Painting did on the front porch deck of our house. We asked several different painting companies, but no one was able to actually understand how to approach the job beside Tom Curren Painting Co. Everything went smoothly from the first visit to discuss the job and receive a quote, to scheduling the job to actually getting the work done. Tom Curren Company renovated our living and dining area. The process of redesign was collegial and resulted in a design that was absolutely perfect for us. The job entailed demolition of dark and old shelving and fireplace and replacing it with paint (the whole first floor, stairs and upstairs hallway. In the middle of the work, we asked for an extra window -- they responded favorably and quickly. The choice of materials by Tom Curren was purchased smartly: beautiful, quality material with an eye to keeping costs reasonable. For things we planned to buy ourselves, they gave us good guidance on where to go, e.g. tile for the fireplace and a mantle made of granite.
All-in-all, we're delighted with the brand new feel and greatly brightened Living Room and Dining area. Friends and family who've since been in our house have also commented about how transformed and pleasant the area is.

I tried for moths to find a contractor or company to not only build a laundry room, but also manage the other contractors (electrical, plumbing, plasterer, painter). When I found Tom Curren, I grew to be very comfortable with the crew. They were all polite, personable, respectful, and competent. About half way through the project I mentioned that I would appreciate a bit more communication so I would know who was coming when, and they began sending me texts and/or talking to me at the house. I would definitely recommend them!

Tom Curren Company is head and shoulders above their competitors. Every person with whom I interacted was a pleasure. They are excellent communicators, they are meticulously punctual, and they do exactly what they tell you they will do. Their integrity is quite high and they take pride in their work. They refinished our kitchen cabinets, installed a new backsplash, and painted. Detail orientation was superb. Included in the cost was a color specialist who helped us select the perfect colors for our cabinets and walls, and she even recommended specific lightbulbs for our fixtures to create a warm effect. We couldn’t be happier.

I consulted with Tom Curren to do some household projects. A pleasant representative came to the house and met with me to obtain the scope of the projects. He then proceeded to set up an appointment with me which would include my husband to review their estimate. When I tried to re-schedule the appointment to an earlier time that would be with just me the response was that my husband had to be included. I am routinely in charge of the household projects and quite frankly found this insulting and sexist. I do not want to do business with a company that has such business practices.

We hired Tom Curren Co. to demo and plaster the ceilings in two of our bedrooms and they did a fantastic job. They had to demo the entire ceiling, which they did very carefully and they hauled away all of the debris. The finished ceilings are smooth and beautiful. We also had them put up crown molding in the two rooms, which looks great. They were very easy and professional to work with, which I really appreciated. Their office is terrific at scheduling (by phone and email) and they always followed up with us very promptly. The crew chief kept us apprised at every step of the project and we were very satisfied with the end result.

They did a great job installing new decking and railings on our small side door steps & landing! They did the job in a single day. Every step of the way, each person we interacted with was friendly, prompt, and professional. Even when we decided to change our minds on one of the decorative items after they were ordered, they offered to replace them and come back the following week to reinstall them. I highly recommend Tom Curren company and will definitely use them again in the future!

We had a very good experience with Tom Curren Companies. We needed it to fix same shingles around the house, update window's frames and paint a four story house. Emerson's crew was assigned to do the job and they were excellent professionals, polite, respectful and everyday before leaving they cleaned up everything. Emerson was very good and insuring that the house would look the best and the work would be done as fast as possible. These combination of professionals are not easy to find, we certainly recommend them.

We had our porch re screened, new door and overall shoring it up and closing up leaks. The guys were here on time every day and performed quality work. They finished the job in the estimated time. The materials seem to be better than what was originally there and the finished product is awesome. I’ve paid cut rate prices for work around the house before and have learned the hard way that a good price doesn’t mean good quality. This is the second project we’ve done with Tom Curren and I’ve definitely got what I paid for. I know the work was done right.
