I did a lot of calling around, got quotes, and had a great experience with them. The way the tree had fallen was between my shed and fence, and somehow they did it without making any damages to either, I was thoroughly impressed. They charged less than the other quotes and were able to do it quicker than they originally said. Thanks!

These guys rock! They showed up promptly to provide an estimate, and showed up promptly to do the work. The crew removed two huge pines from my yard and four smaller (although still good-sized!) trees from my neighbor's yard. They removed all six trees without leaving a trace of any mess. They raked up the yard and cleaned up the street where the chipper was. I highly recommend McDonough Tree, and give them two happy thumbs up.

Hired a company to do some work. They couldn't do the job when promised. Didn't hear back from them. Called McDonough Tree Service. They came out the next day to quote the job. The quote was great, and could do the job in less then a week. And most importantly, he is highly insured. Called me the next day due to a job that didn't work out and asked if he could perform the work that day. The crew left the property clean. No impact to traffic, and cut the trunks close to the ground. I can't say enough good things about them. Professionals!

I needed to get a 30-foot dead elm tree removed from our property, and these guys were amazing! McDonough Tree Removal came out and looked at the tree this morning to give me an estimate, and came back an hour later with their truck and chipper and had the tree down minutes later! I never expected to get an estimate AND have the tree removed all in one day. Plus the cost was extremely reasonable! Two other quotes I got to take down the same tree were 2x and 6x as much!!! McDonough was recommended by our neighbors. Came on time, did the job efficiently! It wasn't easy finding someone who would not have heavy equipment on our septic system and leechfield. They used a large crane to remove 3 large white pines over our home (which we were quite worried about), chipped them up and cleaned up nicely after. Would recommend!

We have used McDonough Tree Removal twice in the past year, for our steep wooded property, to clear over 50 trees. We had several difficult trees that they cleared seemingly with ease (broken, suspended, uprooted, on steep and inaccessible ledge, near electrical lines, etc). We were quite pleased with the work performed by the team at McDonough Tree Removal, to remove a large silver maple on our property. Using their crane and equipment, they expertly and efficiently coordinated the job at hand, navigating street wires and obstacles, and leaving the site impeccably clean, even picking up other fallen branches from a recent storm on a neighbor’s property for grinding. McDonough Tree Removal recently removed a huge willow that had fallen in my back yard. They did a great job, and charged a fair price. Over the years, I have relied on them for removing fallen trees and debris, and have always been impressed with, only their work, but also their great communication - always getting right back to me whenever I had an issue or concern. We had a great experience with McDonough Tree Removal. We have used them 3 times to remove very large trees. The cleanup was excellent.

McDonough Tree Service removed a huge dead ash tree from my property. I asked them to cut the trunk into 18 inch lengths for burning in our fireplace. They did a great job.

The next few days I spent splitting the stumps into burnable firewood. After the second day, I developed a rash and realized that poison ivy had been growing all over the tree trunk.

I called Sean back and told him my predicament.

His team came by later the same afternoon and took away all the remaining tree trunks and stumps for me. .
He didn’t even charge me extra for doing it.

Had a large maple tree that was hanging over the house and near my fence. McDonough Tree did an excellent job removing the tree and brush on the same day! The fence is still in perfect condition.

They gave a fair estimate with no surprises on the bill. Very professional crew and communicated with me every step of the way. I would 100% recommend them to others and/or use then again in the future.

Professional equipment and team at a good price. Very large dead ash tree on a tricky location between houses and power lines, McDonough came in with the lowest quote but also had the necessary massive crane and debris removal equipment to make it vanish. The crew worked fast and got out of there with minimum impact on my neighbors. No difficulty in communication and scheduling, no hassle, just a dangerous tree gone before winter. Shaun and his team did an incredible job removing several trees from our property. They had very little room for their crane but were able to do some highly skilled maneuvering. They were also very careful to avoid damage to surrounding trees/property. Highly recommend and would use their services again.
