If you check the low ratings on the Yelp, you will find the complain is common. AYS charges exorbitant and for is not trustworthy. Acc to the AYS, they charge 85 for service call and I paid 145 for just cleaning the pipe of the dishwasher. A total scumbag unprofessional attitude! I would not recommend anybody to touch AYS with a 10 feet pole. Additionally, the problem was NOT FIXED!!

Profesional, punctual, friendly. He fixed a new problem and fixed a 5-yr old issue with our drier that a couple of other contractors could not. Our go to appliance repair professional going forward.

I called At Your Service Appliance Repair and spoke with Paul. Initially he was friendly and polite. He asked where I was located and I told him Porter Square. He was ok with that. As you may know Porter Square bisects Cambridge and Somerville, and I clairified that we live on the Somerville side of Porter. Paul is willing to work in Cambridge, but informed me that he won't work in Somerville. I could hit a 9-iron into Cambridge from my front walk, but Paul insisted he won't go into Somerville. Again, he was polite and simply said he doesn't service Somerville, but would not give me a reason or explanation. Frustrating...

Paul is so knowledgeable and fast. He makes sure he gets to the root of the problem in a timely manner and charges fairly. Recommend him highly.

Paul has been our go-to person for all of our appliance repair and assessment needs. The first time I reached out to him was because our old washer and dryer broke and he helped guide us through what to look for in new ones. He's helped us with our oven and two refrigerators and he is the only person we call when something comes up with our appliances. He has made every effort to repair something as long as it makes financial sense to do so. When something was beyond repair, he provided a wealth of knowledge as we researched new appliances.
Aside from being skilled at his work, he is incredibly responsive, kind, helpful, and efficient. I feel so lucky that we have someone we can rely on when our stuff breaks or malfunctions, especially since we have two little kids.

Paul quickly and expertly diagnoses the problem. He explains what is needed to do the correct repair and is very reasonably priced. In my case, he had the part on the truck and was in and out in an hour and I had a well working stove in time for dinner. Thank you Paul.

I have worked with Paul numerous times - yo repair my dryer, dishwasher, and most recently the ice maker on my fridge/freezer. He is always professional with updates on his arrival time. Not only was Paul fast and punctual, he came with the right part and was able to complete our job in one visit. He then asked if there was anything he could help with and fixed some nagging issues we'd had with our oven. Great communication by text too.

Paul was great, communicating effectively and working efficiently to sort out some washer troubles for us. Paul helped us to fix a very stubborn and poorly designed fridge during the COVID pandemic. He arrived on time, explained the situation, walked me through the options and how to order the parts, and came back to install. He was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Paul was great to work with - he came in and diagnosed the problem with our washer and was very helpful about suggesting how to fix it. When he saw my wife was having trouble with the dishwasher, he went out of his way to fix that as well. I will use Paul for all my appliance fixing needs.

We discovered our refrigerator had stopped cooling. I called Paul late on a Friday afternoon and he was able to come out and have a look on the next day, despite that being a Saturday. He quickly diagnosed the issue, ordered a replacement part and came back to install it as soon as it arrived. He was professional and friendly, I am very glad I called him for this issue.
