Hired them to do a multi-thousand dollar project, ending with seeding a new side yard lawn. Chris (owner) insisted it would work fine in late Autumn when I questoned him, and "if not I will reseed in the Spring" he said. I called in the Spring, because not only did the seed not grow, the rain washed half of the new topsoil away too, and was told "no probelm in the Spring" - yeah, Spring 2030 perhaps? This guy can't be trusted to stick to his word. My side yard now looks about the same as when I hired him, it's like throwing out money.

Chris and his staff did an excellent job grubbing out years of vines and woody weeds and with his bobcat, transformed our property into a site ready to receive his hydroseed. Just waiting for grass to sprout and look forward to next spring when we will work with Chris on new plantings. Thank you Chris.

I can’t say enough about the work Chris and his team did. They exceeded my expectations, and my yard looks incredible. Fantastic customer service, quick response time, and top-notch work.

Someone came out and gave me a quote over 8 weeks ago for lawn clean up on my property. after the quote we agree on the phone that I want spring and fall clean up (totaling roughly $600 for spring and $1200 for fall, so not a small job) but that I was going to pay extra to have an area of my property cleaned which wasn’t included in the quote. Totally fair. About a month after the quote was given, still no work had been done so I sent an email to follow up and see when someone would be out. I was told their lead time was about 3 weeks because “everything is going wrong” this year and “if I want to go with someone else I can”. I replied stating I still wanted them to come and that I understood what a crazy year we’ve all been having, but that because so much time has gone by my husband would be doing some yard work in the mean time and can we just agree that we will pay for whatever services they still provided at the time they came? Never got a response to that email. 4 weeks goes by from the email stating they were on a 3 week lead time. I send another email to check in, and again, no response. I get this year has been crazy for everyone, but clearly they’re only servicing existing customers and not taking on new customers. That’s fine, but maybe just reach out and communicate that so that people aren’t waiting MONTHS for lawn care with basically no communication on their end. Disappointing.

Chris and crew did an excellent job on my yard for fall cleanup. Everything was great including amazing leaf removal, edging, border cleanup, and a final lawn trim before winter. Thank you.

About 2 months ago Chris came by and gave me a quote on landscaping my entire lawn. I had just moved into a new house and the entire lawn front and back was all weeds the previous owner had not taken care of it. The lawn was uneven and full of rocks and trees.

I wanted to wait until my Fence would be installed so that Chris could level the ground based on that. Unfortunately my fence installers wouldn't give me a specific time they would be installing. Chris was very accommodating and waited until we were closer to the fence install. Then suddenly my fence installers show up early. I immediately called Chris and he had guys out there the next day clearing out the yard, leveling it and laying loam. I was amazed how quickly he dug up my entire yard and made it look amazing.

He went above and beyond in helping me adjust to my new home and yard. When the seed was spread and the grass started to come in he even checked back in on the yard without even me asking. He offered to reseed some bare areas where seed had washed away during heavy rain storms. I was amazed.

I highly recommend him to anyone looking for landscaping work. He will work with you to get your yard looking great!

Chris is a true professional. He has a great team and their work is perfection! Built a beautiful patio with a wall and stepping stone walkway. Could not be happier with the experience. Will definitely call him back for any other landscape projects.

Stay off my property. Don't litter on it. Don't operate three gas powered leaf blowers on it shortly after I produce a video about the negative effects of them for Bedford TV. Don't hold me against my tree and hit me in the head and lie about it to the cops when I tell you to get off my property.

It's always great working with Chris & the members of his crews - they are always very professional and friendly. I'm always amazed by how quickly they complete the routine lawn care, while also being thorough. We've hired them to complete mulch installation in the past and they were super efficient and made our yard look so much better. Finally, we hire them for fall clean-up every year and it would take us days & days to rake our entire yard, but the crew cleans our entire yard of leaves and completes a mow in a hour - their service is worth every penny! Awesome job for spring cleanup! What would have taken me a month of weekends, Chris and his crew cleaned up the entire yard - every leaf, stick and acorn and hauled it away. Then the entire yard was dethatched....they even cleaned around my shed! Would definitely recommend for any yard work and will have them back.

After working with a few other landscapers and having awful experiences, I am SO happy that I found Cut Above Landscaping! I contacted them at the beginning of the summer for quotes and I decided to hold off since I thought I could take care of my giant yard myself. After a few weeks and my lawn starting to look really awful, I contacted them again and they responded so quickly and honored the original prices they had quoted me. Their team came out within a few days and went above and beyond my expectations! They are not pushy with overselling their services, and give helpful suggestions with options that are priced fairly. I had a great experience with Cut Above. Communication before and during the project was very prompt. They worked with me on the little details of my job. The on-site labor was great and spoke highly of the company and how well they are treated. The owner, Chris, was on-site multiple time to check in on how the project was going. I will be going straight to Cut Above for all landscape projects in the future.

Contact was made with Chris, Summer 2025 for new lawn, stone under carport shelter and stone driveway with 6x6 edging. Chris came out and took measurements and told me my options. A quote was sent via email with a great price. The work was completed, he and his crew did an amazing job. The lawn came in really well. We had several days of high heat in a row over 90 degrees, even though I kept up with watering, the lawn that gets sun all day burnt. Chris came by to check the lawn on his own and made note that the lawn had burnt. Chris called me and let me know he came by to check the work and said his crew would be there in 30 minutes to turn the soil and reseed free of charge because he backs his work. Just to note, I didn’t call him, he called me. I had planned to fix the lawn myself knowing that it wasn’t their fault my lawn burnt, but lo and behold the crew was here fixing my lawn! Again exceptional work, good prices and amazing service. Highly recommend and I will no doubt use them again in the future!
