Have used Kissner landscaping for over four years now for regular mowing, and spring and fall cleanups. Mowing is always done on schedule with easy electronic payment. Cleanups have been scheduled and completed with great communication as to timing and completion. I have had problems in the past with other companies being “no shows”. That is never the case here. He provides great service.

Does good work but is a terrible communicator, cannot keep appointments even when clients have $3000+ of work waiting to be done for a a home appraisal. Further he will add on extra work above and beyond what is agreed to and just start billing for it sometimes doubling or tripling agreed upon monthly work costs.

Also will lie, cajole and threaten you if he or his people damage your property. He will refuse to fix it unless you have evidence and even then will act as if he is purchasing your property from you and will demand that he has rights to the damaged property.

Will use poor English to threaten law suits when he does not like something, does not understand business, is very dishonest, speaks poorly and is extremely short and rude even when on good terms.

I highly recommend Brian. Brian (and his over 30 years of experience) does the main work himself not some member of a crew that has who knows how much experience. My yard was a disaster and n ow I get compliments from strangers that pass by. Brian added a 50 foot wall, a new cobble walkway, granite steps, sprinkler system, lighting and new lawn. They all came out great. Brian kept talking about a Dinsmore lawn. I was thinking sure, sure whatever. Now that it is done, believe me you want a Dinsmore lawn. I think the best thing about Brian is his integrity. While the job was going he asked me for some money for the supplies. I told him I would write a check for a certain amount. He said that is too much and only wanted 2/3 of the amount. Who does that except Brian?

Brian was always very good at getting back to me when I texted him. The job has been complete for a few months now and he still answers my questions very quickly.

I had no issues with costs being added on from the contract. There was some additional work I added and Brian was more than willing to do the extra and the cost was very reasonable.

Update: it is 3 months later
If you are the type of person who gets tired of hearing how nice your yard looks dont use Brian. It has not just been friends, strangers walking by tell me.

Our friends recommended Brian for a new patio and he did not let us down. Hi work was timely, prices competitive and the outcome was great.

My wife and I discussed our patio design that would be placed into an area with very poor drainage. Brian and his son were able to bring it to life and made it all work.

We love the work and will update this post as the work matures.

Brian and his crew are fantastic - they do very high quality work at reasonable prices and are also a pleasure to deal with. My wife and I needed a significant amount of work done late in the season and interviewed a few potential landscapers, all of whom had excellent reviews online. Brian stood far out from even that elite group in his full service approach to landscaping and lawn maintenance, depth of knowledge, consultative approach, and creativity. He patiently educated us about our yard, advised us on all the options we had including quite a few creative ideas, and made well reasoned recommendations. His crew showed up just a few days later to do the first pass of work and our lawn looks much better than we had expected. Their detail orientation, both in the work and in the follow up plan, is exception. I'd highly recommend them to anyone!

Brian and his crew came in and removed a large mulch bed from around the front corner of my house and graded it with loam and applied seed and fertilizer (shown in pictures). They also helped clear and level a rear section of woods that gave me so much more usable yard space. They were very competively priced and provided quality work. Brian is a no-nonsense hard worker and gets the job done right.

Called them a few times and never called back, seems like they’re not good at communicating and I had a large project to

110% satisfied and delighted! They responded quickly and completed the job professionally and quickly with a team of 10 men! As new homeowners in Acton, our overgrown yard was completely transformed. We could not be more thrilled and will definitely be calling Affordable Landscape for all our yard needs.

Cody Gallinaro and C & C Landscaping are dishonest, do shoddy work, and rip off their customers.

He agreed to do a quick pass on our driveway and then come back to clean it up for $80. He ended up pushing a giant pile of snow in front of our house, blocking our vents and oil fill valve, and never came back to clean it up as he promised.

Don't do business with this guy. Wasted $80 to create more work for myself

**Edit in response to owner: No, he did not make room for the oil fill valve. He piled 4+ feet of snow directly against my house and my basement windows. He never showed back up like he said he would to clean it up. I didn't "keep calling complaining". I texted him asking if he was going to show back up, as he said he would, and he went off the rails.

I got in touch with another customer of his (who also posted a review) who has a video of him smashing his truck repeatedly into the trees in their yard, ruining her landscaping. He had no reviews before I left one, and now he has 4 positive ones pop up, likely from his friends and family because he realized the repercussions of doing bad business.

Again, don't hire this guy. He is dishonest and unhinged.
