Called for an emergency and was one of the few places to actually answer their phones. Was going to be able to come out same day and within a few hours for a potential emergency. Would highly recommend just for being able to reach a person, their kindness and for wellness to come out same day. Didnt end up needing them but wow such availability and customer service.

Highly recommended. Opened swimming pool for the season and no power. Called Dave at DP Electric in Blackstone and he had a crew over the next day. They tested the system and isolated problem to a switch. Replaced switch; checked out performance and all is now well. Thanks to Dave and Austin. Again, highly recommended.

Once I called for an appointment, I only had to wait 2 days (the weekend) for them to come to my home in North Smithfield. They were on time, very personable, and did a great job with no messes to clean up after! If I ever have a need for an electrician again I will not hesitate to call them.

Had them come out to install a Nest Hello video doorbell. I live in an older house that didn't already have an existing doorbell, so they had to do all the wiring and install a chime box in addition to the video door bell. Fast, friendly, and professional. Will definitely call DP Electric if I need an electrician in the future.

Talk about efficient! Back story; My Dad had a stroke and a bum knee and was not in good health anymore. He had an electrical issue that he tried to fix for weeks and it was really wearing on him. You can’t stop a perfectionist from trying to fix something they have set their mind on fixing. The issue was located on the third and fourth floor which made it even worse.
I saw him the day after Halloween and he looked very weak. I know that look. So I got on the phone and called a few different electricians. Dave answered the phone immediately and spent 20 minutes with me trying to troubleshoot what it could be. He didn’t need to do that.
He offered to show up the next day at 7:30 AM and I asked him to let me know when the charges hit $500 so that we could re-evaluate (my budget for this unexpected expense)
$500 is about three hours of work. These guys showed up on time, polite, came in and went to WORK! No breaks. Hustling. "We need to get this done in under 3 hrs. Let's go!" Up and down 4 fights probably 30x. They finally found it, just under 3 hrs by going rogue and trying something unconventional. I'm so impressed.

I had DP Electric out to my home today to do some electrical work on a room we are doing over. They were super responsive, Professional, offered to come out in less than 24 hours & even accommodated us by showing up at 7:30am. This is the 3rd time I’ve used them and i can honestly say they are the best. Thanks again guys!!
