My wife and I had to call Foley Electric at almost 4pm on Veterans Day of all days for an emergency power outage at our condo. They had their electrician John there within the hour. He was very professional, clearly explained his recommended solution and got the job done in no time. Quality work for a very reasonable price especially with it being an emergency call. We will definitely be calling Foley Electric again for future work and would recommend to anyone looking for a local electrician on the south shore. 5/5 stars

We have worked with a number of electricians to update and maintain the electrical on our home. Foley Electric has proven to be the most reliable and professional of all those we have worked with. My phone calls were answered and were wrapped up with definitive answers about scheduling. John from Foley Electric did electrical work on our home two times this spring and each time, he was just a delight to work with. He is knowledgable, thoughtful, strategic, and courteous. We had rewiring of wacky switches, outdated outlets replaced with GFIs, and old wiring contained with junction boxes. The work was well done and the price was great! We highly recommend Foley Electric - you won't be sorry you called them!

I met Matt, owner of Foley Electric, through Angi. I called Matt and he was very personable and informative. I sent him a picture of the job and he got me on the schedule within 2 days. In 2 days, John came and did the electrical work. I was very pleased with his work. Foley Electric is a two man company: Matt and John and they are both very personable and helpful. Matt is very honest and straightforward in explaining required needs of service required for Installation of a Level 2 Chargers for our BMW i4 Electric Car! Even our BMW dealership recommended this Electrical company! Now more than ever we need to support small family run businesses! Foley Electric is that and exactly who you should get electrical services from for they are excellent at their craft, and John, my electrician was extremely experienced and good at navigating an old 1808 home for proper placement and safe wiring of the home for the Level 2 charger! Additionally they came on time and as expected and were very accommodating with scheduling around my professional nursing schedule as well! I can't say enough about how honest, straightforward, financially reasonable/fair and accountable for ensuring delivery of excellent safe and to code electrical service we received. We lost power in the crazy storm last week and it was a complex issue that needed an electrician asap. John and his team responded immediately and somehow trudged through the snow to help us. The problem was resolved by lunch and I couldn’t speak higher of the service. Thank you.

John Boudreau of Foley Electric installed two ceiling fans and mounted two TV's to the wall in my condo. He also helped me brainstorm some solutions to a WiFi issue I've been having. The work was done well and efficiently, the fixtures look great, and there was no mess left behind. John was pleasant to work with and provided great service - bonus points for noticing my bass guitar! I recommend Foley Electric for electrician services and plan to use them in the future.

I honestly did not expect how quick, easy, and reasonably priced this could be. Matt came out right away to provide an estimate and answer my questions, and very promptly answered follow-ups on email. John then came out to do the contracted work (installing a car charger and a few other odds and ends). He was quick, clean, very professional, and surprisingly unobtrusive as I was working from home. Foley Electric is great to work with! We've used them in the past for various electrical work in our house and when an issue came up recently, they were the first we called. Matt was accommodating to our schedule and John came to do the work. John was polite, professional and very knowledgeable. He was quick to figure out the problem and to fix it. Matt and John are friendly and reliable. We highly recommend Foley Electric and we will use them for any future electrical needs.

No showed for a quote appointment we had scheduled over the phone. Kind of threw off my timeline for a kitchen remodel because I plan to get three quotes for the plumber, three quotes for the electrician, etc. never followed up either. Oh well.

The business responded saying it’s not them. So I double checked. First of all, I had their Google page saved from when I reached out to them in the first place. Same Google page. I’m sure this will jog their memory: I was getting three quotes, one of which was from SC electric. The person I talk to from this business confirmed they know Sean of SC electric. I said ha ha oh funny, small world and we set up a time for them to come by to generate a quote. I even asked, do you need to come out in person or can I just send you a list? And they said they want come out in person. And then no showed. I’m sure the business owner doesn’t remember any of this based on how they responded to this review, but Google pages don’t bookmark themselves. That’s not how the Internet works.
