Tree reviews in Brewster, Massachusetts

We recently had Mackenzie remove 3 large trees from our property, 2 of which had utility wires going through them! The team did a tremendous job taking the trees down limb by limb and were extremely conscientious about avoiding the wires. The cleanup was fantastic and very thorough. Can't say enough about their professionalism and work ethics. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing tree work. These guys REALLY know what they are doing. Geoff's price was great, too! Thanks again!

We used MacKenzie to remove 6 large overgrown leland cypress trees from our back yard and a large spruce tree out front. They did a fantastic job with the removal, as well as grinding down all the stumps. You would never know the trees were there and the cleanup was immaculate! Great job guys! I highly recommend Mackenzie Tree Service. Very easy to work with.

Great experience .... returned call same say. Geoff came over next day for estimate and review of work. Remove 3 40-50 ft pines, grind 5-6 stumps. Hired and cme less than 1 week later at the time specifies. Work done in under 4 hours, would never know they were here....Great cleanup. Price very reasonable based on 2 other estimates.
Very professional, good team of workers. Would highly recommend!

We contacted Angie’s List to find a professional tree removal service. Geoff called us within a day and came over for a free quote on removing 5 large trees. He was friendly and professional and explained the machinery he would use and how the work would be completed. He quoted a fair price and said he would be on site at all times. He and his crew, Mark and Bob, completed the job in one day and the cleanup was immaculate! If we need tree service again, we will definitely call Mackenzie Tree Service and we happily recommend them to family, friends and anyone who needs a professional tree service job done well!

Had 3 large pines taken down and large limbs hanging over the roof. Quick & excellent service! Very happy with the work! Highly recommend!

Without a doubt, the best experience I've had with a service team on Cape. I had 3 cedars that needed to be removed. One of which had split and was tangled in the wires to the house. This team was immediately responsive. Showed up early and got right to work. Great communication, competitive pricing, and cleaned up without a footprint. Also was able to trim deadwood off another tree I'm trying to save, and offered a few suggestions. Highly recommend. Couldn't be happier with the response and results.

I had the pleasure recently ( prior to the Bomb Cyclone) to work with Geoff Mackenzie, and the team at Mackenzie Tree, my experience could not have been better. From the first meeting and discussion of my project, which included taking down five large trees and grinding several stumps, throughout the scheduling process, which required some flexibility from Geoff due to a scheduled driveway installation, to the actual completion of the job it could not have gone any better. During the proposal stage Geoff was thorough in his description of the work, engaging in his approach to a new customer and considerate in his pricing demonstrating that he truly wanted me as a customer and not just the job. I also threw some curve balls at him during the job and he was extremely cooperative in getting those additional items done an at a very fair price.

I would give Geoff and his team ( all friendly, and hard workers) a resounding endorsement and highly recommend them to anyone who wants to engage a reliable, fair, and knowledgeable tree service. I feel like I found a great partner and most likely a new friend.

We had Geoff and crew at house to remove a very large pine tree and some other large branches. They did a great job! Cleaned up nicely after themselves. Really nice guys. Very professional. Will use again for tree work!

We recently used Mackenzie Tree Service to cut down a very big tree in our backyard. We had a few people come and look at it but Mackenzie had the best price for what we needed. Their communication was great, they listened to what we wanted and they followed through with our agreements. They were respectful of our yard, very clear on what they were doing, and friendly. We will use them in the future and tell everyone we know to use them.

Mackenzie Tree Service does a fantastic job! I’ve used them on 2 projects and both times Geoff arrived promptly to give an estimate and a time frame when the job could be done. On each project the cost quoted held true and more importantly the time frame was accurate. The Mackenzie crew work professionally and efficiently. I give Mackenzie Tree Service 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thank you Geoff,
Steve in Harwichport

I was very satisfied with their work. The two guys that came did the work of 4 men. No, really they did. Unbelievable. They completed all the tree work as agreed upon and the cleanup at the end of the day was top notch. You could hardly detect they had been there. Mackenzie was recommended by my neighbor across the street and my next door neighbor also hired them to do work in his yard after he saw the job they did on mine. 7/2024

Can’t recommend this company enough. The owner is a super nice guy and they were on time, competitively priced and very professional. They took down a large oak tree at my house and the job was done flawlessly. Don’t hesitate to call Geoff for any tree work you need.

Geoff's Team did an amazing job. They transformed our wooded lot into a nature walk, in addition to prepping the perimeter for our fence installation. Just as important, was the professionalism and genuine caring of his of Team. If using Mackenzie Tree Service, you won't be disappointed.
Thank You Geoff!

Mackenzie Tree Service removed a gangly, overgrown pine from my front yard along with the stump - I've posted a picture of where it used to be. They removed 5 other trees and pruned a bunch of others. They did a great job. I'd definitely hire them again.

These guys are awesome. I've never had such a quick turn around time for a job, Geoff is great at what he does, doesn't beat around the bush (excuse my pun) and just gets rid of what you need faster than any other tree service I've used in the past- and he's juts an all around cool dude all together. Trustworthy & reliable, definitely save this number in your address book cause you're gonna need it.

Mackenzie completed a huge job at my house and did a fantastic job! We had about 25 trees and a dozen bushes removed and could not be happier with their work. Geoff provided an initial estimate and then came one weekend to review the site to ensure the scope of work was what we had planned. He arrived on the date as promised and worked for two days making our property look beautiful.

There were a few hiccups and Geoff was very responsive and dealt with them in a timely and professional manner.

I am very pleased with the work and the cost was fair. I highly recommend Mackenzie Tree Service!

Geoff and crew took down five large pitch pines and one smaller dead pine, and ground all the stumps. Three of the largest trees were infested with borers, one right next to a stockade fence, and one overhanging and right next to the power line to our house. They were quick, efficient, and did an excellent cleanup. They also took down (and didn't charge us) two short (~6') stumps that were hidden in the bushes. See attached photo for some impressive maneuvering of his bucket truck.

Geoff and crew did an excellent job taking down what I would consider to be a medium to large Pitch Pine that was leaning towards my house. First they trimmed it using a bucket truck and ultimately felled it keeping it a safe distance from my house and surrounding plantings. They cleaned up the property of all the tree debris with a Dingo and chipper. I would most certainly call them again when I have more work.

Very responsive with estimate and the scheduling of the work. We had multiple trees removed, extremely happy with the job performed and the clean up. Would definitely use again and highly recommend. It was a pleasure to do business with with this company. Thanks Geoff!

We had 6 - 40' pine trees between our house and road which needed to be removed. One had already been damaged losing its top in a wind storm, and we were worried about the other 5 suffering a similar fate and damaging our house. Mackenzie quickly and safely removed them without damaging the house or nearby powerlines. The cleanup they did afterwards was especially impressive, cleaning up the steep hillside they were on of all broken twigs and branches, and sweeping the roadway in front of our house.

Highly recommend Mackenzie Tree service ! I am so happy and satisfied with the quality job they did in my yard.
It was a big job and I feel like I got a fair price. It’s a good feeling when good people do a great job! So thankful :)
