I could not even make it thru the initial phone call to set up an appointment .
the girl on the phone was so rude, I had to hang up. -
Do not trust these people. The just take calls and send local mechanic from your area and charges $85. I was told that will charge the $85 for diagnosis and will inform me further cost for any repairs. The technical came and Fix the issue without informing me the cost .Now the technical is asking me $ 520 and when I call the company to enquire they just simply mention that they are not responsible and I have to deal with the technician. Please DO NOT deal with them.

I contacted them prior to reading the reviews, big mistake. They wanted $85 to “hold the appointment”. When I pointed out that they were coming to my house he started making up excuses about not having to deal with cash and not having local banking available... Bottom line, NEVER pay a repairman over the phone PRIOR to them coming to a service call. This is a scam and I’m glad I decided not to use them and then read the helpful reviews, thank you all...

If I could give this company less than 1 star I would. Quite possibly the biggest joke of a repair company out there. I called a week ago to get service for my washing machine. I took time from work to be home for the mid-day appointment that I made with them. I got a call at the time that I was expecting the tech to arrive stating that he was running late and would not get to my home until after 7pm that night. He did show up after 8pm with nothing in his hands but a bucket. He took a look at the machine and made his assessment that I would need a new door switch. Really? No other testing was done? OK so I took him for his word and asked for him to return ASAP to fix it. 5 days later I am still waiting for him. First the part was OOS then he could not accommodate my times, I had to work around his schedule. Such great customer service?? Never again will I use you. Sears is coming over to hopefully provide me with better customer service. Shame on your company for a terrible experience.

Do not trust these people they are POS. I had an appointment for my washer machine. They told me they charge $85 for a diagnosis which was fine but then I got a call from the technician and without even coming by he tells me he knows the problem. So he tells me he will order the parts and come by on Saturday and fix the machine. Well I wasn’t comfortable paying $85 for a diagnosis with out even diagnosing the problem. I called and got my $85 back but they told me since I canceled the $85 the technician will not be showing up. Why am I paying $85 for a diagnosis when the technician didn’t even come out to diagnose the problem. Also I looked up the parts that the technician said I needed. He wanted to charge me $100 for parts that weren’t even $30 and on top of that, it was something totally different. The technician was completely wrong. I called sears and paid a little more but they showed up on time and diagnosed the problem and fixed it the same day. Do not trust this place. They probably have good reviews because the employees are the ones who are posting the good reviews. These people are scam artist. Spend the few extra bucks and go with Sears they will tell you how it is and won’t try and get you for all they can for work they didn’t even do. Brockton Appliance sucks and should be shutdown!!!

I called Sears after getting screwed from another company who did ZERO testing on my washer but deduced that I needed a new door switch. Tim from Sears came during the promised time slot and tested several things like a good repair person should do. I have a front load washer and dryer so I did have to help him take the dryer off the washer so that he can open up the machine to look inside. All it was was loose wiring inside leading to the computer board. He fixed it on that one and only visit. Don't bother wasting your time with other loser repair people from other companies. I will use Sears each time. Thanks again Tim!

Very knowledgeable, did quick, good work and was helpful in answering my questions.

It took us three tries to get the same problem fixed. The first tech said everything checked fine. The second tech said it was the board and replaced it. The third tech said it was a fan but had to order it and come back when we received it. That seems to have finally fixed the problem of the dishwasher never ending the wash cycle. Mind you we needed to take a lot of time off of work and never did the tech show up in the alotted time window. It was always after. The dishwasher is still broken, in that there is now no indicator light saying the dishes have been cleaned but it's livable.

Excellent. Parts arrived on time. Tom, the tech, went above and beyond to make sure everything works perfectly. Made me glad I kept my service plan. With good service like this it is well worth it!

Great service. Really nice service professional. Showed up an hour earlier than expected and came back to finish repairs same evening. We joined the service plan and are excited to have everything in the house taken care of at a really great price.

3 repairmen were dispatched for the job. The first one did not want to do the job or be here. Wouldn't give his name or any identifying information about himself.
The 2nd and 3rd repair men were knowledgeable and professional, however , the 2nd one properly diagnosed the issue ( a stuck hairpin ) but rather than just removing, he ordered a whole part. I removed the hairpin after he left and was able to use the washing machine w/o any issues!
I also do not care for phone customer service as they continusly say Mr. ( entire name), thank for telling , and so slow a call that should take 15 min takes about 45 min!
Not sure what happened or happening to Sears, but I'm not as eager to contact them for repairs ! -
The Sears tech, Andrew, performed preventive maintenance service on my air conditioner and dish washer. He was very thorough and had some good tips to prolong the useful life of both units. He also suggested the best way to maintain internal cleaning and demineralizing dish washer lines. During his visit he discovered the dispenser assembly and door seal needed replacement and ordered the parts for next week service. The Sears service agreement is well worth the cost. If for any reason a unit cannot be repaired, it will be replaced free of charge.
