Top-Notch Contracting absolutely did a phenomenal job. They were on-time and professional. The quality of their work was on point and they were happy to make adjustments in the middle of the project when requested. Brian Magee did a great job managing the project and making sure everything stayed on time and ran as smoothly as possible. We will definitely be using them again!

I first worked with Moses and his team at Top Notch Contracting in 2015. My husband and I had been through several contractors and never found the right fit. We don’t know much about how a renovation needs to be done and therefore always felt like we were being taken advantage of. Moses and his team helped us with a full renovation of a home we had recently purchased. From the minute we received the proposal, we knew it was the right fit. The proposal was detailed and itemized so we knew exactly what we were getting. They began the work and he and his entire team were efficient, neat, proactive and got the job done on time with a very tight timeline. I was most impressed when we ran into an unknown, without being asked or prompted, Moses went back to the original proposal to see where we would be able to save some money to make up for it. That showed me that Moses really and truly cares about his jobs and his customers.

As a Realtor, I have many clients ask if I have a contractor that I can recommend. I have always been reluctant because I never had a good experience. That changed with Moses. Brian from Top Notch was, dare I say, Top Notch! Anyone that has ever had to hire someone in construction knows it can be very difficult to find someone and even harder to find someone who is true to their word. They came for the estimate on time, removed their work boots in our home and then returned and repaired the issue exactly when/how they stated. The best part, I paid exactly what they quoted me! I will definitely use them again soon.

Top notch did an excellent job changing out some of my light fixtures and adding dimming switches. They are so pleasant and their attention to detail is amazing. They wanted to make sure I was happy with the service provided. I would definitely hire them again for future work. It’s not everyday you find a contractor like them!

I've had the pleasure of working with Moses and his team at Top Notch a couple of times at our Natick home for small but important projects over the past couple of years. It's great to have Moses leading the charge as he proved himself to be on top of everything and it's clear his guys follow that lead. Strong communication and transparency and their online tools allowed for us to follow the job every step of the way - pretty amazing. Top Notch comes highly recommended for jobs large and small. TopNotch Contracting has just completed a complicated remodeling project for my family on a duplex apartment in our small rental building in downtown Boston. Working with TopNotch co-owner Ohannes and project supervisor Michael has been a thoroughly positive experience. Weekly project updates kept us informed during a period when we could not come to the job site regularly. Any questions or problems encountered along the way were quickly resolved with emails and video chats. Historic buildings like ours inevitably present unexpected problems, but Ohannes always found solutions in keeping with our aesthetics and budget constraints. Michael coordinated the project subs on site, maintaining the same high standards of work throughout. Despite some delays from permitting and pandemic complications, the finished job is everything we imagined it might be, confident that the TopNotch team treated our project as carefully as they would their own homes. It was a pleasure to work with them, and we would not hesitate to recommend TopNotch Contracting for its quality, integrity, and reliability, all at a competitive price.

Great to work with! Top Notch replaced our two-story back porch this past summer as well as completing major repairs on our front porch. I both recommend them and plan to work with them again. Everything was clearly explained throughout the project and they took the time to thoroughly examine existing structures before sending out estimates. I received estimates from 2 other (also reputable) contractors who eyeballed everything at a distance which left out some better, longer term options that Top Notch came up with.

I collaborated with Alex Jennings with the electrical department at Top Notch Contracting on a few projects, and it was always a fantastic experience. They were highly professional, communicative, and efficient throughout the entire process. It is my absolute pleasure to share my experience working with TopNotch contracting. Our project was quite extensive - a gut renovation of the second floor unit of a 2-family house with the addition of two dormers and brand new decks - and lasted almost 9 months. From the initial meeting with TopNotch, they were professional, knowledgeable, honest, and kind and that remained true for the duration of the project. The thing we were most impressed with — other than their gorgeous work — was how communicative and responsive they were to every inquiry, concern, and request. When we emailed them, we would frequently get a reply within minutes and the response was always helpful. I had heard horror stories from friends about contractors who started the work and never came back, did mediocre work, or added extra costs once the project was underway and we had the exact opposite experience with TopNotch. As a first time business owner, opening up my first gym I wanted to ensure the services of the best contractors around. Top Notch Contracting LLC definitely lived up to the name. They were very transparent with how the scheduling for the build-out was going to work and took me step by step as far as how the job would get handled. Knowing that this was my first time working with a contractor, Top Notch definitely gave me peace of mind and I knew I had nothing to worry about. They always made sure the facility was clean and always gave me updates throughout the entirety of the project. The finished project came out amazing and they made my vision come to life!

Ohannes and his team at Top Notch Contracting just finished a backyard remodel project for us here in Winchester, and we are so happy with the results! We are currently building a new home with Top Notch Contracting. Moses and John are a pleasure to work with and are making what could be a stressful experience an amazing experience. Top Notch Contracting is a leader in their industry! The quality of work they produce is of the highest caliber. We had a large project undertaking a redo of our kitchen and additional work inside our home- each piece of the project was executed in a timely and organized manner making for a superior experience. Their follow through is a key component and each piece of the project (not matter how big or small) was done successfully and carefully. I cannot recommend them enough. In the future, as we plan to pursue a new build- they will be the first we call to handle the entirety of the project from start to finish!

Working with Top Notch Contracting was a GREAT experience! They treated our project as if it was a project being done in their own home. The work was of the highest quality, their pricing was phenomenal and the Top Notch Team is comprised of men and women of high character and integrity. My apartment was impacted by a corroded sewer line backup. Moses, at Top Notch Contracting worked with my insurance company to get the funding that they needed to replace the flooring/drywall/moldings etc. They patiently waited for my building to address the root cause of the issue, which took a few months. At that point Justo scheduled the work super quickly, which I really appreciate. They communicated regularly with me about their progress, they dealt with some mold growth, and they reached out to my upstairs neighbor whenever they needed to temporarily shutoff the water. I definitely plan on using them for future work on my apartment !

Top notch did a fantastic job replacing the siding on our home, as as well as updating our exterior door and garage doors, and insulation upgrades. Tommy the project manager was excellent to work with, was on top of everything, met with me almost every morning, and made the project run super smoothly. Any issues were addressed immediately and we had a plan of action the same day. I highly recommend their crew.

Moses at Top Notch helped us as we were purchasing a home - he did some pre-purchase inspections for us. There is almost no way we would have purchased our home without the confidence that came with the information he provided us. He came recommended by our realtor and offered helpful advice prior to our home purchase on the vulnerabilities of the properties we were looking at. He gave us the run down of maintenance/projects that the home would need if we purchased and was able to give us ballpark estimates of costs to repair things that were broken or to do renovations that we envisioned in the future (can we tear down this wall to open up the kitchen? is the sunroom structurally sound?). He was very, very thorough and spotted things like missing covers on junction boxes in the basement all the way up to spotting that a garage at one property likely needed to be totally rebuilt due to water damage. Moses and Top Notch would be the first to get a call when we're ready to renovate. We couldn't have navigated our home buying journey the same way without him.

We've worked with Top Notch twice over the last 5 years: first on a small bathroom renovation, and more recently on an extensive first-floor remodel. Both times, they've been professional, trustworthy, detail-oriented, on-time, on-budget, and a pleasure to work with. They gave us great advice about where to save money, connected us with an excellent network of vendors (architects, kitchen designers), and were always kind and responsive to any of our questions or concerns along the way. We truly enjoyed working with their full team, and we'll definitely use them for any future renovation projects.

I would recommend Top Notch to any friend looking for a general contractor. We completed a full gut renovation with an addition with Top Notch. Both Ohannes and Moses were very thorough during the quote process (we talked with 2 other builders) and it was clear they had the experience, professionalism, and team that we were looking for in our project.

Going through a massive renovation project is a bit scary, but throughout the project the whole Top Notch team was very communicative, transparent, and able to handle the inevitable challenges that come with renovation project (supply chain issues related to COVID, numerous departments within city hall, etc.) It was very helpful to have Mike N. on has our project manager. We felt very comfortable knowing he was on-site working with the various subcontractors and coordinating with our architecture/design team. He was easy to get in touch with and responsive to our feedback and requests.

Overall, we are very happy with the work that TN did for us and would highly recommend them.

I had an excellent experience working with Alex and Chris Jennings at Top Notch's electrical department! We had many light fixtures to replace and the process from beginning to end was very smooth. Alex was very detailed in not only his work but also the quotation process, ensuring an accurate estimate and no surprises during the completion of the work. Communication was excellent! They also went above and beyond, working in July heat with no A/C and squeezing in a few extra weekend hours to complete the painstaking, detailed work of attaching hundreds of crystals to a chandelier. I look forward to working with them again for future projects!

Top Notch did a fantastic job replacing the roof on our church building. The communication was great, especially with Brian our project manager. The job was done within a week, enabling us to keep our normal Sunday Gathering schedule. They listened to our needs, and got it all done without disturbing our use of the building throughout the week. Highly recommend, and we will definitely use them for more projects in years to come.
