JR's was fantastic to work with from start to finish. I inquired one day and they were there the next to talk through an estimate. They answered all questions within 24hrs, and we scheduled the retaining wall project. The masonry team showed up several days earlier than predicted, completed the job in just a few days, adjusted on the fly when we realized we needed to change something, and left the patio, abutting driveway, and surrounding green spaces better than they found them. We're looking forward to lots of time on our patio without risk of the old retaining wall coming down on us!

We've had JR's Landscaping doing our mowing and spring/fall cleanup for a few years now and we've been very happy with them, so we decided to have them put down a paver pathway running from our driveway back to our patio and to our shed (so I could move the snow blower out there!)

I'm very happy with the result and the process. The team started about a week earlier than we had planned, they quickly excavated and prepped the path. It's important to point out that they actually prepped for the installation correctly: they excavated deep and laid the correct base for the paver stones.

Orlando worked hard to find the best match for the pavers that we used a few years ago for our patio, and once they were delivered, they were installed quickly and they look great!

Especially important: they left the site in great shape: they graded the surrounding yard so that it meets up with the pavers nicely and they even put down some grass seed for the areas near the path.

The front steps went from a dilapidated old bricks to gorgeous stone and granite! They showed up on time, worked efficiently and WOW, everyone keeps stopping and admiring their gorgeous work!

JR’s Landscaping & Sons LLC did amazing work on our condo. They put down a patio, fencing, and posts for a sun shade. Everyone was a joy to work with. Very professional crew. They worked 3 full days on our project and got it done faster than expected, which let us tape out the area for where we wanted furniture/order the pieces. Everyday they left our property clean and organized. Will use them again for sure.

We are thrilled with the new patio, walkway, grass sod lawn, and mulched garden beds. Orlando's team was incredibly hard working, professional, and did the job right! I highly recommend this company and hope to have them do more projects in the future.

I hardly ever take the time to write reviews, but JRs Landscaping & Sons truly deserve it. We’ve been using them for our weekly lawn maintenance for several years, and they always do a great job. Recently, I decided to use them for a front step repair/remodel they completely exceeded our expectations. Our new front steps look incredible, and I can’t get over what a fantastic job they did. They were meticulous, cleaned up beautifully, and even repositioned the bricks on our walkway and added new sand underneath at no additional cost — totally above and beyond. It’s so rare to find a team this hardworking, honest, and kind. The project price was also incredibly reasonable for the size of the job. We are so thankful for everything they’ve done for us and can’t recommend them highly enough! We will continue to use them for all of our landscaping and hardscaping needs going forward.

JR’s Landscaping did an absolutely wonderful job with landscaping my backyard! The entire crew was incredibly professional, fast, skilled, and friendly! My project consisted of removing a very large Rhododendron shrubs, leveling my yard & laying down a fresh layer of dirt and grass seed, building a patio area, installing a fence, and planting 20+ arborvitae shrubs along the perimeter of my yard. The Walkway came out so beautiful I had JR’s come back to do additional work to enhance the flow of the Walkway with the back of my home. The design blends beautifully with the existing landscaping and adds such charm and functionality to the space.

I almost never write reviews, else that's all I'd be doing all day. But, not writing a review for JR would be doing them a disservice. It was great working with them. They set a high bar for all contractors who follow.

They recently rebuilt our driveway's retaining wall and subbed-out repaving the driveway itself. The new driveway is still about 50 feet long, but repaved and widened to two-cars wide along its entire length.

JR's crew showed up (over decades, I've learned not to take that for granted), they showed up on time (usually 7:30am), and worked together like a well-coached team.

JR's project manager, Orlando (company owner), was present at the start of every major step in the process. He clearly communicated to me what was about to happen and made sure to take into account my 'asks'. In between being on site, Orlando also responded promptly to my emails.

JR's site supervisor Paul kept his crew well-coordinated, so that work progressed quickly and efficiently. He too was happy to answer my questions and explain what was going on.

The paving sub-contractor was just as efficient. They ripped up and re-paved the entire new driveway in less than a day.

Besides their construction skills, JR's excellent communication efforts made this one of my best contractor experiences (in almost 40 years of living in our house). I can't recommend them highly enough.

We could not be happier with the work Orlando and his team did at our home. They extended an existing patio and created a whole new patio, matching the existing perfectly. We had them build a foundation for a hot tub and they took on coordination of our electrician and carpenter, taking so much stress off of our plate. They also rerouted sprinklers and made sure everything was working seamlessly for new grass growth. I could not recommend this team of wonderful guys more. Thanks so much for making our vision come true on budget and ahead of schedule!

Love my brand new patio!! Orlando and his team did an amazing job. Project was completed quickly in 3 days. Orlando let us see paver samples day of which was very helpful. He also recommended the curved bump-out in front of our landing and I’m glad he did; the shape adds a nice touch. Pricing was very reasonable. I definitely recommend this landscaping company.

During the summer, we had a large tree removed from our backyard and a fence put in so our dog would be free to roam. I obtained multiple quotes from various landscapers and ultimately went with JR. JR Landscaping was a pleasure to work with. They were very patient with us and came out multiple times to talk through the plan. I also felt like they were the best with their communication and very reasonably priced. It was our first project on our home; thus, we were very nervous to proceed and didn't know what to expect. However, Orlando was confident and answered all of our questions in a timely and professional manner. Throughout the project, I would check the work to make sure it was all to our liking. Orlando was great at making small adjustments and communicating to his team so we got exactly what we wanted -- the large tree removed, privets removed from our property line, retaining wall, the yard leveled, and a beautiful fence that our dog could not escape from. They constantly came back to make adjustments as needed and didn't just disappear after receiving payment. This spring, we are hoping to work with them again to add some shrubs for some privacy. But we are extremely happy with the work they have done and couldn't recommend them enough!
