John and his team were AMAZING! They completed the masonry work on our 4 brick pillars at the entrance to our condo building within 4.5 hours, and they were so neat and tidy. Totally recommend -- very professional team and job well done!

John and Academy Masonry was amazing. Knowledgable, fairly priced and a lightening fast response time. They not only saved me a huge amount of stress, they saved me money! I highly recomend John and his team and will be working with them again!

I contacted Academy masonry for brick work for my front yard and john ands his crew did a fantastic job that deserves 5 stars, if not more. They did the work very fast and the quality and detail of the work shows when you look at how the front yard looks now. Their work ethic is incredible, which is hard to find, so I highly recommend academy masonry. and for sure I will be using them again any time I need a reliable and responsible company.

After researching a variety of companies to assist with a paver walkway project we settled on Academy Masonry and couldn't be happier. John and his staff were prompt and professional right from the initial visit for a quote through the install day. I can not say enough about John and his team. From day one John exemplified professionalism. From the time of the estimate to completion of the job I always felt he was giving 100%. The price was fair and the work was superb. They worked every day, and all day and got the job done way before schedule. With that said, there was something that put John above most. His communication was above and beyond. There was not one time I called him that he either didn’t answer or if he didn’t pick up he would call me back within 5 minutes. In my opinion you can not put a price tag on that. I would highly recommend Academy Mason Work for your next masonry project. You will not be disappointed.

What can I say to express how happy we are with how our yard turned out. Our yard before had a huge rotting deck which was the home to all sorts of wildlife. We knew it had to go, but it was a huge step to take. From our first conversation, john and his father understood our needs. From beginning to end they were the epitome of professionalism. They truly saw our vision and made this process so easy. They were patient and accommodating. Upfront and explained every stage to us. Their entire team worked from morning to night to bring our dream to a reality. I truly felt so at ease and never once had to worry. We now go into our yard and simply stand there and admire it. We thank you so much for making our yard such a beautiful and welcoming space!

I just hired academy Masonry and construction last week. john is very active & responsive. My 100 year old house in Dorchester needed tuckpointing and a leak into basement repaired. Leak most likely due to seam where brick & cement block wall needed patching. John responded to my call same day, came out & gave me an estimate next day and completed the job a few days later when my scheduled allowed. Fast efficient work. He also repaired crack in my front step and sealed that. Repairs in morning, rain that night, no leak. Very satisfied with his work. Reasonable price. I highly recommend this company.

I cannot stress how positive working with john on our front patio, walkway and steps project was from start to finish. There aren't enough superlatives to fully describe how he managed the project, provided a fantastic crew and coordinated additional services of fencing, railings and grate. We had Academy Masonry & construction repair our foundation crack. Gave a lifetime warranty on the repair. Very professional grade of work. Used the best sealants, and procedure to waterproof this crack 100%. Started and left the job extremely neat and orderly.
He explained, in detail, everything that needed to be done in order to repair the crack and waterproof it. His workers were very good and did the job in the time frame I was given. I am extremely happy with the job they did, and the price was very reasonable! I highly recommend Academy masonry & construction! A big thank you to you and your amazing workers, for your professionalism, and for a job well done!!

John rebuilt our exterior brick front steps and landing. He communicated with us regularly during the design phase and gave us detailed updates each day while the work was being done. His craftsmanship is excellent. We are very pleased with the final result, and we would definitely hire John again.

John and his crew are masters in their craft. I had my chimney tuck pointed and a bluestone sill saddle installed. The finished work looks clean and well detailed. Pleased with their work and am going to call academy masonry back for a separate round of masonry projects. Would recommend. A+ service and quality work.

If you are looking for a mason - I cannot recommend Academy Masonry & Construction MORE! Truly! John and his team are fantastic and reliable. Finding a trustworthy company can be tricky today, I had a very unfortunate experience with a different company prior. John and his team were not only easy to work with but the price was reasonable, the work was completed above and beyond what we talked about, and communication was easy and professional! Again, if you are looking for any work to be completed at your home or business- I would happily recommend Academy Masonry & Construction.

John’s team is great! The whole process working with them was very smooth. They were able to schedule the project just one week after the quote for my chimney repair. They came in time, and finished the project nice and clean. They took pictures before and after and explained to me clearly. Very nice job! I will definitely recommend them.

We are so happy with the beautiful patio john and his team built for us! He was very professional and responsive from the first time we reached out to him for an initial quote through completion of the project. He was able to complete our patio ahead of schedule so that we could enjoy our new patio even earlier for the summer. He took great care of the job site and our property which we greatly appreciated. Academy Work did an excellent job on our back yard and side entrances. We couldn't be happier!!! They are very reasonable and do amazing work. John and his team at academy masonry and construction did an awesome job with my basement. This company definitely knows the ins and outs of basement waterproofing. They had no problem answering every question that I had as it was a big project to have completed. Academy masonry made my 85+ year old basement usable and dry! They were always on time, efficient in their work, and the team made sure there was nothing left behind. They also minimized dust and noise throughout the house while they were working. I am extremely happy with the outcome and beyond thankful to them. I would recommend academy masonry to anyone that is looking for a professional, reliable, and trustworthy business.

The team did an amazing job expanding our driveway and building a beautiful retaining wall. Their craftsmanship is top-notch—diligent, meticulous, and built to last. They were also incredibly easy to communicate with, always responsive, and committed to customer satisfaction. When we needed a small fix on the wall, they came as soon as they could to resolve it without hesitation. Highly recommend them for any masonry work!

I had this company that did my basement walls repairs and waterproofing. I highly recommend John because they did good job.

These guys are quick, professional, and affordable compared to other places we got quotes from. They did a complete tear down and rebuild of the chimney stack and was done in just two days. The end result looks great.
