Cardinal was awesome to work with. Always kept me informed, answered all of my questions. They changed plans when I was unsure of things. Very honest on timeline. Made sure that I knew all of the workers and Bob and Adam constantly checked in to make sure thingss were going well. Highly recommend this team.

I had a flood in my upstairs bathroom that went through the floor and first floor ceiling. I received a referral to Cardinal Contracting from the restoration company, that came in to dry everything out. The experience was excellent. I met with Bob Shurtleff and Adam Shurtleff. They quickly came up with estimates. Once work began, Bob communicated daily. Bob would text me to let me know when his employees would begin work that day and the progress of each day. There were no surprises and the communication was excellent. If there were any questions, Bob would text or call me. Bob’s whole team that worked in my home were very kind and professional. The completed job came out excellent. I highly recommend Cardinal Contracting Services. I am having them back to replace doors and windows. Seamless, stress free, quality Contractors.

While I was away on vacation with my family, a water main broke and completely flooded my daughter’s free‑standing condo unit. I immediately called my plumber, who had to stop mid‑job and referred me to Cardinal for emergency mitigation. It turned out to be the best referral I could have received.
Adam and Bob jumped on the project immediately. Within one day, they had all of the damaged carpeting, furniture, and fixtures either removed or properly protected and blocked. When I returned home and saw the condition of the unit, it was overwhelming—but Cardinal was already in place with heaters and dehumidifiers and had the situation under control.
The Cardinal team worked seamlessly with us, the condo association, and the insurance company, making what could have been a disastrous experience feel organized and manageable. We selected new flooring, paint, countertops, and cabinets, and everything was delivered on time and on budget.
Unfortunately, one of our friends later experienced a similar flooding event at their home. I referred them to Cardinal, and they had the exact same positive experience.
I hope you never have to go through an event that requires a mitigation company—but if you do, Cardinal comes very highly recommended.

These guys made it easy. They always showed up when they said they would. The project management was excellent. The workers were all super friendly and very clean. The quality of work was excellent. It was a large project but they got it done in a very reasonable timeframe. We would for sure hire them again.

I had a wonderful experience working with Cardinal Contracting Services on the restoration of my bathroom ceiling, which had been damaged by water leaks from upstairs. After a water removal company came in to tear out the damaged drywall and address mold issues, I hired Cardinal to recreate my ceiling, including the insulation, new drywall, and painting. I couldn't be happier with the final product.

Even more than their first-rate work, the ease of scheduling, and the timeliness of completing the project, I can't say enough about the level of customer service. The company owner arrived before the team members who performed the work so he could introduce us and review the game plan. Once the job was complete, he returned to ensure I was pleased with the results, personally vacuumed little crevices around the work space, and surveyed areas outside of my condo where his team had done some staging to be sure all was left spotless.

So great to see this level of care still exists! A fantastic experience all around.

I recently had a major upgrade to my shower done. I am pleased with the end result and was very impressed with everyone involved under Adam's supervision. Excellent customer service! (Rare these days.) It was all done very professionally. Workers showed up when they said they would, did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves. I recommend them highly.
