I highly recommend Hartney Greymont. They were professional, friendly, fairly priced, patient and on-time. They did an excellent job removing 8 trees, and also pruning 1 tree. They also gave good advice whether to remove or save a tree, and prepared quotes to help me decide. The entire team was a pleasure to work with.

Hartney Greymont has done a great job for us for decades, from annual spraying of trees to major tree repairs when storms occurred or trees grew too tall. We have appreciated the quick response and communication from their arborists and office staff and the reliable scheduling and minimal impact when they have done work here.

Chad Dupuis does outstanding work on all site visits and always does a detailed note from his visit for our property. Chad has keep all our planting disease free for years and he corrects issues proactively as well as following up on all property concerns. Chad is a true professional as a Plant Health Care Specialist for Hartney Greymont and our planting have never looked better because of his meticulous work. I am a very satisfied customer.

We have used Hartney Greymont car for our trees and shrubs for years know. We use them for feeding and monitoring programs, shrub installation, and for bi-annual pruning. They provide a valuable service and I fully believe our landscaping looks as beautiful as it does due to their care and advice.

This company is great! The 5 employees I spoke with were all friendly and knowledgeable. Two of their crew took down an ant infested tree in short order but didn't get to trim an adjacent tree as was promised. A email to Devin and in a couple of days another two did the work in about an hour, including cleanup! Very impressive. Highly recommend.

I contracted with Hartney Greymont's Concord, MA office for removal of a large, dead sugar maple and replacement of it with an October Glory maple. The Arborist Representative, Rainey Fountain, who quoted and supervised the work, as well as the two crews who came to do the work, were all marked by professionalism, thoroughness, responsiveness, and experience. I was very happy with the whole process.

Fantastic service. We had Hartney Greymont out for a pruning and a Hemlock Woolly Adelgid treatment. Rainey was extremely knowledgeable during the pruning process and the crew that came out for the HWA treatment was perfect. We weren't home for the HWA and they hopped on a call with us when they arrived and left just ensuring that everything we talked about during scheduling occurred exactly as expected. 110% recommend.

Boston Tree, my longtime Tree care company exited the pruning business several years ago. A couple years after that, during Covid, I used someone I had found on-line. He only did a fair job so this year I tried Hartney Greymont. I had heard that they were very expensive but I thought their pricing was fair for what they did, which was to prune and shape two large river birches in our front yard and two large white pines and a western cedar in our back yard. Dan Hager was the local arborist I dealt with and he was a pleasure to work with. His crew came on schedule and did an excellent job and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. We are very happy with the results and so is our next door neighbor who benefited from the pruning as much as we did. In the spring, Hartney Greymont will be back to fertilize and spray. I am a new and satisfied customer.

I had a very positive experience working with Dan Hager and the crew. Dan came over to our house in Concord and did a walk-through around the property. He was very knowledgable as we discussed different projects, and he was quick to follow-up with a quote and scheduling info. We had lots of yard waste removed and re-seeded the lawn. The crew was friendly and worked efficiently. We're happy with the results and would love to work with Dan again if we have the chance. Thank you!

We had quite a mess when a very large tree fell on our property. We reached out to several companies and Hartney Greymont and Dan were the most responsive by far - they contacted us immediatly to set up a time to survey the property, provided us multiple options to remove the tree (they suggested economical options that others did not). Once we made a decision to have the work done, they gave us a work date but said they would be in touch if they could better if - and they did by several days. The work was completed as described, no hassles, no problems (amazing how often that doesn't happen these days). They are now at the top of my list if I ever need arborists/tree removal in the future.

I recently engaged Hartney Greymont's arborist to complete pruning of several of my ornamental trees. Beginning with my initial call to their office, through the on-site consultation and ending with the work, they were extremely responsive, professional and the work was tremendous. These were difficult trees to reach and to properly shape and Hartney Greymont's team did a fantastic job and exceeded my very high standards and expectations. Well done!

Thanks to Devin P of Hartney-Greymont for sending an excellent team to trim my beautiful maples! He also rooted 4 clippings from a failing blue spruce (due to climate change) in a valiant attempt to start a new, better acclimated tree. Even more, he offered to send a team later

We strongly recommend Devin and the Hartney Greymont team for garden and hardscaping. They built a beautiful stone walkway and patio for us last season and have been invaluable in helping to treat and improve our lawn and plant beds. We’ve also used them to plant a few larger trees in the yard and have been very pleased with the result. Just a great group across the board - quality, accountability and generosity with their deep knowledge.

Rainey’s team from Hartney Greymont just finished tree trimming work that Rainey had previously reviewed with me. The team —John, Omari, and Hunter — arrived promptly at 7:30 this morning and finished working on several trees by 8:30. They were professional and efficient, and the work looks great! I would definitely hire them again as well as recommend them to others.
