Boston Ductless Systems was referred to us by a friend who did a lot of research and claimed this is the best in the region. We reached out and couldn't be happier. Cre, one of the owners, offered her expertise, patience and kindness which made us feel we got a trustworthy friend. With so many clients, she managed to plan the time and projects well. We understand that they are professionals and know the level of emergency of different requests in the harsh winter time. Therefore, she may not respond immediately but I knew she wouldn't forget us and will definitely get back to us. Now our project has been finished completely, she is still nice to respond to my questions and we know she will be there for us if we ever encounter with any problems.

Cre and her team are prompt, efficient, fair, and professional. She took the time to explain what our home needed, offered the best line product for us, didn't try to sell us up or down, and came to do the job immediately after we accepted the proposal. They took the time to do a great job, kept everything clean and were a pleasure to have around. We highly recommend Boston Ductless!

We cannot recommend Boston Ductless Systems highly enough. When we first called to inquire about a mini-split system, a technician came to our house within 10 minutes, spent about 30 minutes looking over the house, and gave us clear and accurate information about what we needed. The proposal we got later was exactly what was said in the initial consultation. Once installation started, the workers always showed up exactly when they said they would, were respectful and polite, and worked nonstop. The installation was completely smooth, and there were NO surprises, extra hidden charges, etc. The company responded immediately (usually answering the phone in person) whenever we reached out. It is now done, and our new system works beautifully. This is the kind of customer service that I thought was no longer to be found in America, and
we could not be happier with this company.

We had a wonderful experience with Cre and her team and are very happy with our new heat pumps. Cre is extremely knowledgeable and was creative with the layout and design to maximize efficiency while taking our esthetic needs into account. She thoroughly explained her vision as well as how we could utilize state programs and energy audit companies to reduce overall costs. She even helped walk us through the paperwork. We recently had heat pumps installed in our three family home. We got a few estimates from contractors, and we received a competitive price from Boston Ductless Systems (they gave us the lowest estimate and are a Mass Save contractor).

We would recommend Boston Ductless to anyone who is looking for superior work. The team who worked on our house, led by Cre Tsolias, was very professional. They worked with us to find the best placement of the air handlers inside the house. They were also very careful with the outside of the house; they consulted with us to design the positioning of the heat pumps and line sets in order to minimize their appearance. (In our research, we saw homes where less creative approaches led to unattractive outcomes.) The crew is a talented and hard working bunch, and a really nice group of individuals.

When the work was in progress, Cre communicated with us on a regular basis. After hours or on weekends, Cre always picked up the phone or got back to us right away. At the beginning of the job she gave us a timetable, and she stuck to it. She was also helpful with our rebate application from Mass Save. We couldn't have imagined this job going more smoothly.

Have you ever been cold, but then, after just pushing a button, nice and warm? Well friends, that's my life now. We called Boston Ductless in late November and before school got out for the holiday we were livin' that heat pump life. They dealt with my weirdly angled roof and my anxious dog like absolute professionals. They helped us with Mass Save's loan documentation and rebate process. They left neither footprints, nor sawdust, nor styrofoam, nor empty Dunks cups. Instead: only happy warm children, thanking us for finally putting heat in their bedrooms. This great service was no surprise. We have worked with the boss at Boston Ductless, Cre Tsolias, for years on a few renovations, and she is a gem. Would I use them again? Of course not, because no one needs 2 heat pump systems. But would I recommend them to you? Yes, yes, 1000 times yes. You can't do any better.

Cre Tsolias and her colleagues at Boston Ductless installed a Mitsubishi ductless mini-split system in our home in Lincoln, Mass. in April 2021. We built our home in 2008-09; it is custom and uses radiant heat (small tubes in the floor carrying hot water) and has other peculiarities. It was *not* straightforward to decide on the placement of the heads (inside wall units) and the route for the tubing from outside and running through the walls. Cre was brilliant. She thought carefully about every detail and every challenge that arose, drawing on her considerable experience and knowledge. (Her team members were also very experienced.) Sometimes we would see her just staring at the wall for minutes at a time, pondering the placement of studs and other items in the walls and floors and obviously charting a route in her head! She worked carefully in our home and was very considerate of us. (It's hard at times to see holes being cut in the walls, etc.!) We interviewed four companies before choosing Cre. Unique among the four, she is an electrician, not a plumber, by trade. And installing a mini-split system is almost entirely an electrical project (with some important carpentry, as noted. By the way, the team patched the holes very nicely!). So she really knew what she was doing. I should also say, going back to the beginning, that Cre was helpful in making a final decision on the choice of brand -- she knew the advantages and disadvantages of each. (We had done a lot of research, but we still learned from Cre.) Oh, right, and by the way, the system works *really* well! (It's been hot the last week, and we've really been able to test it out.) I strongly recommend Cre and her team if you are thinking about a ductless mini-split system.

Cre and her team at Boston Ductless did an outstanding job installing a ductless system on our second floor. From start to finish, the team was not only efficient but also incredibly timely. After the installation, we noticed a malfunction with one of the indoor units. Cre immediately coordinated with the supply company and swiftly arranged for a brand-new unit to replace the faulty one. The level of service was so impressive that I recommended her team to my parents, who had a ductless system installed throughout their entire home. Cre went above and beyond to ensure they had all the necessary documentation for the MassSave rebate. Cre and her team were fantastic! They were quick and efficient with getting my AC heat pump units installed. They helped me with setting up the WiFi function on the units.

From booking the initial appointment to cleanup, Boston Ductless did a stellar job. We previously had window units and I can't get over how consistent the temperature is in our house and how quieter it is now. Cre helped us execute our heat pump install in our condo in a classic Boston triple decker. She was extremely patient, understanding and a pleasure to work with. She was able to accommodate our specific needs by installing the condenser on our roof and utilizing the hallways for the lines to reach our bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Cre and the team did a wonderful job installing heat pumps in our unit in a 2 family home in Arlington, including some challenging stucco work on the exterior of our home. We highly recommend them! The team was professional, respectful, and very helpful throughout the entire process of design and installation. We enjoyed a comfortable summer with our new heat pumps keeping our place cool throughout this summer's heat waves. We are looking forward to an equally comfortable winter once we switch to heat mode.

Don’t let the name fool you! Boston Ductless Systems did an AMAZING job putting a whole home ducted AND ductless heat pump in our 1300 sq ft condo in Jamaica Plain. I couldn’t recommend Cre and her team at Boston Ductless highly enough.

We have a fully ducted unit downstairs, and installed one ductless cassette for our one room upstairs. Cre and her team wrapped all our ductwork, and insured the installation was as energy efficient as possible. They also answered all our questions, and gave us a very fair quote for the work. We’re very happy to be rid of our gas furnace and old AC unit.

I highly recommend contacting Boston Ductless Systems if you need HVAC/AC or a Heat Pump water heater - absolute professionals, solid pricing, great service. We've worked with Boston Ductless twice. In 2024 they installed a ductless system while we were finishing our attic, and in 2026 they installed a heat pump water heater. Both times we have received quick call backs, great quotes, and fast service.

For the ductless system, we didn't really know what we wanted and they walked us through a few different options. Based on what we wanted to do with the space and how often we planned to use it, the team recommended we go with a slightly smaller system than we had initially requested. It saved us some $ on the install, and has been absolutely perfect to meet our needs. Zero regrets and we really appreciated the honest recommendation when clearly we could've been upsold and never known. Then, the installation went very smoothly, only took a couple of days, and we've had zero problems since.

In 2026 we reached out again, this time to replace our failing water heater. The team recommended a Heat Pump and from the time to us reaching out to the time we were getting hot water, it was about 2 business days. We sent over some photos of the space on a Friday, got a quote back the same day (which we promptly agreed to having already done a little research and already being very familiar with the team) and by Monday evening everything was completed. We had a small (quickly fixed with phone guidance) that evening and even though we sent a text, after hours, the owner reached out immediately, called us, diagnosed and fixed the problem over the phone, and checked back in to make sure everything was still working. Any other company we've worked with would've sent us to voicemail/left us on read or at most offered to come out the next day, but the team at Boston Ductless got us straightened out immediately like it was the only thing on their to do list. Incredible service.

If we ever need anything related to heating/cooling or water heaters again, Boston Ductless Systems will absolutely be our first call. They're also the first, last, and only company we recommend when friends or family mention they're looking to have something done.

As we head into another sub zero winter weekend here in Boston, I just wanted to shout out Boston Ductless systems again. We hired them a little over a year ago for our condo, and when we bought a bigger house this year we hired them for a much bigger and more complicated install. They knocked it out of the park! System was installed perfectly, and it’s very efficient. But most importantly, it’s actually keeping us warm in these freezing temps! Thank you!!!
