Boston's Best was very professional on the phone handling our initial inquiry. They came out same day to provide a competitive quote. It took about a month for the scheduled work to start. The team who completed the job were professional and courteous and worked through some nasty weather. Our chimney was rebuilt from the roof-line.

Nate was excellent and took good care of us. He was in our house multiple times due to the nature of the work being done and he was always very professional and never left a mess behind. Our experience dealing with the office staff was very positive as well. Everyone was very responsive and fair in our dealings. We are very happy and will continue to use Best Chimney for our annual sweep. Keep up the great work!

Boston's Best Chimney rebuilt a chimney and installed a liner on my triple decker and they were excellent. They were extremely reasonably priced compared to roofers and other dedicated chimney professionals. Both the office personnel and the ground crew were communicative, punctual, and courteous. Shawn and Mike answered all of my questions throughout the build and respected the property and our neighbors. The end result is high quality and I would definitely recommend.

Involved in commercial RE. Maybe I just had a poor tech, but told office what I was requesting, tech came looked at horizontal flue running to chimney, said he didn't vacuum/clean them. Told worker needed a flue liner in chimney and left. Got a bill $175 (which I will pay), then an estimate for $500 for another person to come to inspect flue again. Called and talked to office worker said someone would get back to me, Never heard another word from them.
Needless to say I wont use them again.

An amazing group of professionals that get the job done. I have a 120 year old chimney, with twists and turns, a brick was in the way, and an inside wall had to be opened to remove it. I was nervous! James opened a small area then re-bricked it. Many of the crews showed up. They left my house spotless! James did the bulk of the work and proved both knowledgeable and professional.

Both Rich and Nate were very helpful in scheduling my appointment and writing up the technical details of the condition of my chimney. This has been very helpful as I plan to sell my home and demonstrate the condition of the premises and chimney.

We had a great first appointment with Chad but everything following has been really disappointing. Two rescheduled appointments, one after we called the morning to see if it was on, and then cancelled upon arrival and “will schedule for next week.” When they called to reschedule it was 5 weeks out, for March! Originally our work was projected to be done in January and the second step of the work has yet to be done.

Let me just start by overall I had a very positive experience from initial contact, scheduling, inspection, the liner work itself, and the follow-up. I waited two days as per the technician's recommendation to start using my fireplace again and so far, no issues. Everything is working as expected and I'm happy with the results. The onsite crew went above and beyond clearing out the recent snow off the roof and made a pathway to get to the roof. They took their shoes off and laid out blankets around the fireplace like total pros. So A+ guys. Really great job. I only have a few comments that would make the experience better. 1. A heads up call to let me know you're running late would be great so I didn't have to call the office thinking there was an issue. 2. The crew had to go back and forth to get supplies and different size liner so being better prepared would go a long way but overall they were able to get it done. 3. A little more time and care spent on the clean up would be next level. 4. Asking where to put the damper bracket in the firebox and give feedback before installing would have been great. That's all. Like I said, overall everything was great. Thanks you guys!

The whole process from my first call through inspection, and contracting, was transparent and courteous. Installation was amazing - the technicians were organized, clean and courteous. I recently had a new fuel liner installed and a new chimney cap. My entire experience from start to finish was fantastic. Everyone was polite and very nice to deal with. The chimney work turned out to be much more difficult than expected but the team went about it with good humor and dedication - totally impressive in the very cold and very snowy weather we were having. Team showed up on time, communicated the plan and there was only one small hiccup which was the second chimney was understood to be a "closing" while I had thought it was an evaluation. No big deal and they offered to stuff it with wool until a next plan could be made. Great service, great work, will definitely refer this company to anyone who asks!

I received a quote from Dave’s chimney service that was 290% higher than Boston best chimney. More than twice as much. BBC came out here and did an awesome job rebuilding my chimney from roof up, installing a liner for my appliances And sweeping my wood stove stack. I’m grateful that there are still companies out there that don’t try to rip off hard working people! I totally recommend Best Chimney Service!

I have to say your company has the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Fantastic follow up, professionalism, friendly and competent team. I was very impressed with everyone I interacted with. The quality of the masonry and chimney liner team was outstanding. Our hundred year old chimney was leaning from our second roof up. Best chimney set up scaffolding and rebuilt the chimney. Great work and tidy on cleanup. We also had a liner installed and new vent piping installed to meet code. Again great work and tidy cleanup in our basement. Boston chimney took care of everything from permit to inspection.

I have been using Best Chimney for over 20 years and would not go with any other company. The customer service, professionalism, talented staff, quality of work, in addition to the positive attitude and value for the services provided, is second to none in the Boston area.

More recently I have had the extreme pleasure of having Mason be the lead on installing a stainless steel chimney liner for me and conduct a fire test for work recently completed. Even though there was a challenge with the size of the liner, due to my chimney being narrower in the middle, Mason was able to easily troubleshoot, find the correct size and have the installation completed shortly after the initial visit.

Mason returned today to conduct a fire test to ensure everything was in working order and supplied the necessary paperwork for my property management company at our condo association to prove that my fireplace is in working order and safe to use.

Mason's professionalism, leadership, critical thinking skills, positive/can-do attitude and easygoing manner were most impressive. I want to also commend the trainees that I met on both visits, Ron, Julio and Leo. All were models of customer service and professionalism and very happy to be with Best Chimney. It was obvious they were very pleased to be training under Mason and had a high level of respect for him. Best Chimney is doing something very right by having someone as capable as Mason and trainees as eager to learn as the three gentleman that I met during my service calls. Thank you!

David found the true soul utilizing the natural wave and woodworm holes to find the perfect balance of traditional and modern.
