Excellent work and extremely responsive! Ron came to my place and provided an estimate and was able to complete the work the following week. From start to finish I had my new light, outlet and panel replaced in less time then it took get an appointment for an estimate with a larger business. Ron brought in 3 additional electricians to assist him with the upgrade and relocation of my panel (to bring it up to code) so it could be completed within a few hours. And he did so without any additional charge from the estimate. The aforementioned competitor showed up over a week later for the pre-scheduled estimate and that person disclosed that if they had completed the work, it would have cost several hundred dollars more. I read the other reviews and found that those speaking negatively were talking about work, other than electrical (dry wall repairs, etc). I had the exact same work done by Ron and his team - they swapped out a ceiling light in the dining area and I had him move it over by about a foot to spot that made more sense. The electrical work was perfect - that's what I hired him to do. He put in a patch in the old hole and I finished it up myself. I won't be using that bigger company to do the remainder of the work I need - I'll be asking Ron and his crew to come back. It's nice to have a good, reliable electrician when you've purchased an older place that needs a little TLC. Five stars all the way. Thanks Ron!

I’ve had good experiences in my interactions with Ron and his team. Very knowledgeable, personable, and easy to work with. Most recently Ron and his team installed a couple of GFCI outlets at my home, installed security cameras, and re-did some wiring. Ron’s prices are fair and he has always been very responsive. I would recommend Ron and his team for your electrical needs.

Ron did the electric work for my furnace install. Ronnie and his helper did an excellent job and arrived on time. He always comes right away for an estimate and bangs the job out as soon as possible. He also helped me out of a bad situation and put me in touch with his HVAC guy. Ronnie's prices are always fair. I highly recommend McMahon Electric.

Ron is a great guy and has an incredible team! He is always my first call when I need electrical work or anything else done on my house, he and everyone he works with is professional and follows through.

So far on different jobs (4 so far,) Ron and his team have replaced or rewired circuit breakers, replaced outdoor switches and lights, installed ceiling fans and installed overhead lighting. All prices have been more than fair, if not better than others, and were done quickly and cleanly.

I could not recommend he and his crew more highly.

I purchased a condo recently and the inspection found a few electrical items that I wanted addressed in addition to a couple of 120 VAC outlets that I wanted put into a laundry closet to support the washer and a dryer booster fan (the previous owner was OK running an extension cord through the attic and a dryer fan cord connected too....absolutely nothing). I had called another local company prior and their tech was a no show....annoying since I had to take time off work to meet him. I called Ron, he showed up on-time for the quote. Scheduled the work for a few days later. He showed up on-time for that. He did exactly what we discussed. It took him less time than he estimated. He and his assistant cleaned up after themselves before leaving. The cost was exactly what he had quoted me. They were respectful of my property and the installation was clean and professional looking. All issues were addressed. Just a good, honest transaction. I would definitely use Ron again but honestly I think he fixed everything so I probably won't need him!!!! :-)

Great experience working with this team. They were comfortable working in an older home, and helped with a couple projects that were tricky at best because of the age of the home. They were able to get us scheduled and showed up on time and ready to get the job done. Prices were fair and competitive.

Did my mini splits for power, work was done professionally and timely for a fair price. Would recommend.

I purchased and very quiet bathroom fan that was installed incorrectly, backwards, with ductwork wrapping around fan and big gaps in the drywall at the opening. He did not care if it worked properly and when I stating such, did nothing to inspect and correct the problem. I had to have it reinstalled once I found the problem. It was not working properly and found an obstruction in the vent duck that had to be removed. He installed the fan and that was his job, too bad if it doesn’t work. Wanted to get paid to come repair his own work. The bathroom sink was chipped in the process with tools placed into the sink without protection but would not take responsibility for it. I have a brand new chipped bathroom sink.

Electrical outlet on deck was to be replaced and installed correctly from original installation. When completed it was not as stated and would not come back to correct it. I had new lights being installed in basement and found they were removing existing lights that had nothing to do with the work. I told him they were not to be removed and asked to replace them. Only one of two was replaced. An outlet was moved that should not have been moved and I was not asked about it or aware of it until later. It was put very close to the sink and farther from the area to be lighted.

A switch and outlet was to be installed in front porch. Holes were made for the wiring, but the wires were wrapped around joists instead. He claimed it was not his work and said I insulted him when I said it was since there was nothing there before and you could trace the wires to the new work.

I paid for four lights for the basement and had three light strips installed, but was not given credit for the one not installed. The fan was part of the quote but did not fit. He would not reimburse me for the cost of the fan even though I had purchased it. He refused to follow up on any of this work or to reimburse for any additional expenses or materials not provided.

A kitchen light was added above the sink and the electrical wiring above the cabinet was left exposed and materials left on top of the cabinet. I had to finish the work.

Ron did work for me in the past and said he would work in my new place. I should have not have hired him again since the work previously done by his crew left me with a pendant light falling from the ceiling. They lost a screw, so only used one instead of two. He had it repaired, so I decided that his response was good for a mistake made. I had to idea that he would be careless, rude, whiny about the work, and deceitful on this project. I sent an email asking to for the work to be completed and for reimbursement. The response was the job was completed and I would have to pay him to come. It was his own work and a very unprofessional, sloppy job. I have photos and documentation of the work.

I reached out to Ron and his team late last week because I wanted to have a Level 2 charger installed in my home for my electric vehicle. Ron provided a prompt quote that was very fair. The service was scheduled for two business days later. His team showed up and went right to work. The team installed the proper safety equipment, a NEMA 14-50 plug, a waterproof enclosure, and they helped me mount and install my charger! I was so happy with the service. I would definitely use Ron again for any future electrical work.

I’ve been using McMahon Electric for over 10 years. Ron and his team have done work from everything from ceiling fans to generator installation.
