I hired Solid Contracting to redo my old worn out deck. From start to finish it was a great experience! Jesse was prompt,courteous,honest and the quality of his work was just amazing. In the early spring of 2022 I began collecting estimates for a new deck and an interior bathroom refresh. I did have a general idea of what my project should cost. If five contractors came to my home, three got back to me. With each one I referenced projects my husband had done and purposely dressed down. Off the bat, I felt that Jesse from Solid Contracting was the only one who took me seriously not only as a decision maker but as a paying customer. Not once through the initial estimate process was I dismissed or made to feel my questions were not relevant.

From the day they arrived until the day they left, Jesse and team were professional and extremely meticulous. I recall one conversation where Jesse pointed out something on the deck to me that was crooked. Personally, I do not notice these types of things but he does. He explained how the next day he planned on taking that section down and redoing it. This was in order to give me the heads up that it might look like there would be no progress within those two days. This is when I realized that he was not going to rush through my job to get to his next one!

When it came time to my bathroom, I watched him stare at each line of tiles that went up in the shower to make sure that they were 100% straight. This again speaks to the meticulousness and pride he takes on with every job.

Fast-forward to the beginning of 2023. I once again reached out to Solid Contracting. This time I was looking for storage options in my garage. We talked about building a loft, that turned into this amazing hanging system. The amount of compliments from friends in awe of my garage storage is absolutely remarkable. This was Jesse’s idea.

From there, I decided to finally finish my basement. It was something I’ve wanted to do for a few years. My son wanted skateboard mini ramp. I didn’t think this was even possible. Turns out that Jesse can build those also!

It took the entire winter but Solid Contracting not only completed my basement they added a full bathroom as well. My statements regarding professionalism, respect, and meticulousness from the prior summer, remain. With this larger project, additional professionals needed to be brought in. There was one plumbing team I was not comfortable with. He completely understood and brought in someone else.

I am the type of person who would rather something done correctly than quickly. I know with contractors, sometimes things are rushed, and short cuts are taken. That is not the case here. I really cannot say enough good things about Jesse and his team at Solid Contracting, except that I look forward to my next project with them!

Solid Contracting replaced all the windows in my house and the sliding doors. Jesse gave us many options to choose from and carefully explained the pros and cons of each. When the doors and windows arrived he got right to work and had the job promptly done. He tried not to make a mess and cleaned the job site everyday. We are very pleased with the installation and the value which it has added to our home. I highly recommend Jesse and Solid Contracting for your project.

We hired this company after speaking with numerous contractors regarding our master bathroom and basement remodel. The owner and his crew were honest, professional and most of all they made my wife and I feel extremely comfortable knowing that we picked the right contractor for the job. He was even gracious enough to fix an issue we had in another bathroom issue that prevented us from having a catastrophic issue. We are very pleased with the deck remodel and reconstruction performed by Solid Contracting. Jesse and Garrett encountered an old deck that was in sorry shape. There were quite a few unpleasant surprises regarding that deck’s earlier construction. Throughout the project they exhibited professionalism and expertise to solve any problem that arose. What really stood out to us was their flexibility and work ethic. The new deck exceeds our expectations. Their attention to detail was amazing from the “picture framing” of the deck boards to the miter cuts on the trim. Workmanship and materials were first rate. We would highly recommend Solid Contracting for similar projects and we intend to use them again in our future plans.

Jesse did a fantastic job at our house and I can’t recommend him enough. We needed to knock down a load bearing wall and install a recessed LVL to open up our living room. The price was fair and he was able to work us into the schedule quickly. It was started, completed, cleaned up, and permit closed in only a few days. Jesse will be my first call for our next project!
