I've been a Realtor for a very long time and Ed Wagner is an excellent inspector and the only one I ever recommend. He is very thorough and excellent with all my buyers. I've never met another inspector that even came close to as good as Ed.

Ed is not only thorough, he is willing to explain his observations in detail even to a concerned father of the buyers. He is flexible allowing the buyers to modify, within reasonable limits, the scope of the inspection on the fly. He arrives on site with all the various tools, instruments and whatever else might be required to complete the job. His Infallible integrity is obvious to any observer.

Ed was so wonderful to deal with, he doesn't try to sell you on services. He explains your options and then helps you work within your budget ( if you need to ) . We are so thankful we found him and highly recommend him to anyone needing mold services.

If you are looking for a house inspector who checks all the boxes when it comes to being thorough and detailed in every aspect of his work, choose Ed Wagner. The house was examined with a fine-toothed comb, in a good way. Each room, each appliance, roof, basement, circuit breaker, every light switch, window, and the use of his infrared “gun” that detects temperature differentials behind walls and ceilings..that can’t been seen by the human eye. I was throughly impressed and so grateful to have the house examined so closely while considering purchasing the house.

Wagner Inspection Service - a Seller's Review

In the fall of 2010 we were thinking about putting our house on the market; it wasn't a very auspicious time to be selling. We contacted Ed, now the owner of Wagner Inspection Service to ask for guidance on how best to ready our property for sale. Our house was built in 1917 and had had a lot of non-professional repairs done on it.

Ed gave the house a very thorough, top-to-bottom inspection and presented us with a report, complete with pictures of problem areas. He found hidden termite damage, electrical wiring that wasn't up to code, heat-loss area, and several hazardous areas that needed attention. He advised us as to which repairs and improvements were absolutely necessary, which would improve the value and/or attractiveness of the property, and others that would be nice, but might cost more than the value added by doing them.

Our house went on the market in May, 2010 and sold in August 2010. We give a lot of the credit for the quick turn-around to the good advice we had from Ed Wagner.
