I used Onix cleaning services last month and was blown away with the results. I got my kitchen, fridge, and bathroom cleaned in the apartment and everything looked like brand new once the job was completed. I will absolutely be using Onix again for periodical cleaning. I believe everyone should get their home professionally cleaned a few times a year aside from the standard upkeep and cleaning you do on your own. Thanks Onix!

I can’t say enough about how satisfied I am with Onix cleaning services! I had an initial deep clean done on my home including cleaning my oven, refrigerator, and many windows. The team was so thorough…they found dirt I didn’t even know existed! They even went above and beyond, cleaning my partially finished basement in addition to the main level, bedrooms, and bathroom. Communication from the team was great as well! I will definitely continue using Onix for maintenance cleaning in the future, and highly recommend them to family and friends!

Great job! I'm moving into a new apartment, but the apartment was not thoroughly cleaned by the landlord, so I enlisted Onix cleaning service to get the apartment ready for my move-in. They thoroughly cleaned all the areas of concern, and left my apartment looking and smelling fresh. Thank you so much!

They did a fantastic job and with very short notice. We were able to book them for 10am the next day late the night before. We had arrived at our new apartment to find that it hadn’t been cleaned between tenants so we really appreciated them coming out and cleaning quickly and thoroughly so we could move in!

Don’t hesitate to book Onix. Found them through Google, and from the jump they were extremely communicative. Expectations are laid out with their detailed service plans, so there is no room for ambiguity. I really loved that most! They have great business management + the website is so well executed. They send texts + emails, and even let me know when the crew was on their way. I booked a one-time move in/out cleaning, but I will definitely give them a call if I need regular cleanings. I booked Onix to clean my condo after we moved out. They were wonderful! They had very good communication and did a great and thorough job of cleaning every little bit of the building.

I have been Onix customer for almost 9 months. Initially gave them 5 stars after the first clean which was far from perfect bc I wanted to support local business, but felt I need to be completely honest so that any new customer can take this into their consideration when they’re hiring this company.

The pros: Onix has one of the best systems in terms of text support, scheduling, etc. Everything is very streamlined and professional on this side.

The cons:
- Cleaning is so so. Very much bare minimum. The first couple of times the trash bags were left right outside the unit. To give them credit, they were willing to come back to make it right once I pointed out the issue.
- If you’re a busy professional who’s hoping for a team to come to your house while you’re at work, they may not be the best company for you. It seems there’s a huge communication issue bc the people you text aren’t the people who actually do the work, and not every feedback or instructions get relayed accurately.
For example, I have an electronic door lock on my unit and gave a very explicit instruction regarding how to enter (it’s actually just a 4-digit code like every other lock box). Despite this, they constantly struggled to get into the unit, broke the lock completely, and have locked me out of the unit a few times by putting in the wrong codes (causing the lock to go into safety mode) or locking the knob that I told them not to lock (bc I don’t have the key for). Once, they broke the lock and locked my dog walker out, causing my dogs to be locked inside of the house for more than 12 hours, unable to relieve themselves, bc I was also locked out and had to wait for the landlord to get off work to let me in

Knowing the situation and wanting to continue to support their business, I asked a landlord to install a lock box with a physical key in case these types of situation happen again.

Unfortunately, in the coming months, they continued to struggle to get into the house more than 50% of the times they came by.
I continued to support their business, hoping that with time they would finally learn the routine and things would be more smooth.

However, today they again struggled to use the same 4-digit code to let themselves in. The lock box was used for a physical key. After the cleaning was done, the key was left in a lock box, which was left totally open to the world. This meant that anyone could have gotten into my house and stolen everything after they left…

After this event I could no longer stick by them, as these major inconveniences have now become a safety issue.

I cannot imagine a 4-digit code being so difficult to handle, and thus have to assume that this is a communication problem yet again. There’s a customer file, compiled from customer communications to the company, but this file doesn’t get read by the actual people coming to clean your house. And sometimes the actual people coming to clean your house are different people each time.

I’d say if you’re someone who’s going to be home to let them in, check their work, and see them out every time, then they’re probably not a bad company to use as long as you don’t mind a mid-tier sort of cleaning. However, and it breaks my heart to say this, if you’re a busy individual and just want a team who’ll come in on an automatic schedule - someone who are capable of learning the routine and respecting the instructions and safety of your very own private space - this is not a company for you.

Onix did a fantastic job. I can be a bit neurotic about how my apartment is cleaned and it was immaculate. Everywhere I looked was spotless, even the places I thought wouldn’t be touched at all. Everything was above and beyond cleaned. Would recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely exceptional!!! I was looking for a new cleaning company and hired Onix for an initial cleaning. Scheduling and communications were super easy, and three lovely ladies turned my place inside out in less than three hours. I’m not sure it has ever been this clean! They addressed every nook and cranny, and were extremely respectful of my space/ accommodating of my small yappy dogs. Pricing incredibly fair. Will ask for their help again!

I have been using Onix for over a year now. I have a corporate apartment that I need cleaned multiple times a month but not on a regularly recurring schedule. Since I've started working with them, I can easily text or call to schedule my next cleaning and they're extremely quick to respond. They do their best to work with me even when I have a last minute request. I can give them special notes such as "please strip the bed and put in dirty laundry bin" or "please hang the clean towels that are in the closet" and I don't have to worry about it not being done. They also send me pictures to keep me update if they notice something like a scuff on the wall that they can't get out or ask if they need to take out empty Amazon boxes to the recycling room. Highly recommend this crew for ease of use and scheduling. I've never actually been there when they popped in for a cleaning but I never have to worry if they're doing a good job or not.
